Risk Shoe Store & Shoe Repair

WOW! Local shoe repair shops told me my old Vionic loafers were not designed to be re-soled and I should trash them. I called Risk and was told it was not a problem. Just got them back and they are better than new. Only one disappointment, I can't give them more than 5 stars. Excellent workmanship.

2nd pair of boots I’ve bought there and the first pair were re-soled there once. He took time to look at my feet and assess the issues I have had with pain and was able to recommend insoles to help with my flat feet and poor arches for my new boots. Good local business, family owned and they have earned the support they get from the community through hard work, knowledge and personal attention with customers.

We have been buying shoes there for about 10 years. Risk carries quality LEATHER shoes (which has become quite difficult these days in the crazy world of faux and "vegan" leather).
I just received a pair of Birkenstocks back from being repaired. They replaced the entire sole and made them look wonderful, just like NEW!
I wholeheartedly recommend Risk for ALL your shoe needs!

I had 2 pairs of boots that needed some TLC. A re-heel and a resole. My Nicks Free Range and my Nicks Travelers.

The re-heel looks absolutely great! Got rid of the old pull off heel. And fixed I right up! Tacked down the VBar sole, and even cleaned up my edges.

The Travelers were on the Vibram 2021. Peel that, and the slip sole off. Put on a new slip sole, and the Vibram Christy! I had a special request, and they accommodated me with no issues! I got a Vibram New Flex Soling sheet. They sanded the Christy smooth, and added the New Flex to the bottom. Creating a very unique dual density sole! One of a kind!

My husband and I think it is the BEST Shoe Repair Shop we’ve ever been to and we just recently picked up our shoes from there.

His shoes 👞 had been taken to another repair shop (a closer one,) where they not only were they late getting them back to us, but didn’t do the work he’d asked them to do and they were already falling apart. We decided to look elsewhere and although it’s almost a two hour drive (between 1 1/2 and 2,) it was WELL WORTH the drive! As you can see, at Risk’s Shoe 👞 Shop they half-soled by sewing 🧵, not gluing, using real leather in the repair. They also fixed his heels and shined his Florsheim’s up, they look great!

My boots were pretty old, scuffed up, heel damage and looked like the black was coming off of them in some places, please look at them now. Also, please look at the bottom of my shoe, they look brand new. I don’t know 🤷‍♀ how many years I’ve had these boots 👢, but they are looking good now.

I had another pair of Life Stride’s that looked like they needed to go into ICU Shoe Repair. They fixed those too and we were amazed!

Had I known they were going to do this good of a job, I would have taken before pictures so you could repair.

I highly recommend them if you are looking for a shoe repair company that does QUALITY Repair. They actually told me they had other people send them shoes to repair from out-of-state and I bet they have.

I took a pair of my Ariat boots to get new rubber Pieces for the bottom of my boot heels. When I got my boots back they not only repaired them but the boots were also shined, polished and cleaned to perfection. The boots look better than the day I bought them. For what I paid the man that worked on my boots went above and beyond and have made a lifetime customer out of me. Any boot repair or detailing you need this is the place to go to. Thank you risk shoe store for going that extra mile for your customers the little extra goes a long way.

5 pairs of boots that I absolutely love needed some repairs. These guys gave my boots some major TLC and I am so very happy. The total bill was very reasonable and well worth every single cent. As long as I live in this area, this is THE place I will take my shoes for repair. Thank you so much for bringing my beloved boots back to life!

Brought Tony Llamas here for new soles twice and both times the boots came out looking like new and very solidly repaired. Very happy with this place.

I had a boot voucher to their store for a set amount and no extra money. They worked with me and were very nice and helped me get the best pair for my needs with what amount I had. Good family type of feel, a place untouched by modern capitolism. Honest people, making an honest living. I will be revisiting when it's time for new boots and will gladly pay sticker price.

They fixed a pair of my son's Jordans. They were done ahead of schedule, fixed to perfection. My son has been thrilled! And the cost was very reasonable!

Great place to get anything leather like purses, boots, or shoes repaired. Stuff comes out like new but with the same worn in feel.

Also, it looks like it would be a great place to get work boots for men or a wide range of women's footwear.

I Googled for Leather Works and found this shop. I needed a new button snap installed on a leather holster, and they were able to knock it out right away for a very reasonable price. Nice shop offering dress, sport safety shoes and more. They also have many shoe and leather related accessories. The staff were very professional. A place like this is needed. There was a steady flow of customers as I waited for my repair, so they are established with the community, and the people support them. Zero complaints, you can't go wrong.

The bottoms of my very favorite broken in, comfie boots were worn down, big time. Risk boots put a new bottom and my favorite super cute boots look brand new. I am sooo happy with this boot place, THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!! And bonus, they sell really cute shoes in their store.

I absolutely love this store not only do they have beautiful merchandise but their craftsmanship is amazing I have taken many shoes into the store some that were past their prime and they are brand spanking new 🥰they can also color change what more can I say but you must try them there prices are also very reasonable.Thanks Risk for all your help.

Great selection of quality shoes, boots and inserts! I have also had boots repaired there and my boots looked and felt better than new when I picked them up.

I recently had Naif repair my much beloved Doc Marten boots and a pair of my wife's shoes. He did a great job on both and he saved me money to boot...ha ha... get it! Anyway... I am glad I found a cobbler here in Texas that does excellent work at a fair price. I will certainly send him any needed leather repairs in the future. I suggest you give him a try.
