Fast, friendly and cost effective. They have plenty of options for everyone. The drink menu is huge &&&&& they have a dessert menu for your sweet tooth. Defiantly recommend, especially if you’re on vacation. Great vibes 💕💕

I had a pick up order that was was amazing..when I came in for the order, the entire staff greated me and they all knew my first name.. my order included shrimp fajitas for 2 and a chicken and ground beef taco all of which was delicious ..can't wait to order from them again. Go there. You won't be disappointed..

Amazing food, just delicious -- and the food preparation time is super quick, too!! -- with great service and superb prices. Honestly this is my favorite kind of restaurant ... high quality food for a fair price and served by friendly staff. Highly recommended!!!!

My MIL took us to this place today. We have been to some of the more expensive places around Englewood (The White Elephant, The SandBar, etc), but this one is super affordable and completely trumps ALL of them!! I’ll admit I was super skeptical looking at the extensive menu. I’m used to places “up selling” their food using colorful descriptions for each dish. There were many items on the menu that had no description at all. Our waitress was lovely and helped me make a decision based on her recommendation. Long story short, I got the fish tacos (again, no description but very reasonably priced), husband got the burger. I couldn’t believe the amount of deliciously seasoned fresh fish that I was blessed with!! Husband loved his burger. The owner, Maria, was wonderful and even came out to check on us, refilled our glasses, and offered me salsa and sour cream. This place is a MUST. Service was fast and extremely friendly, food was amazing. I could honestly go on all day about this restaurant but I’m just gonna stop typing so you can get in your car and go, go now!! What are you even waiting for??????

You know when you're hungry... and you actually know what you want, even craving for... perhaps because you saw it at 1:30am in the morning while scrolling through social media the night before? You know when you get EXACTLY what you wanted and walk away sated, with every bite as good as the first and last (the best bites of them all). Yeah, this was that.

So I really wanted French Toast, and from the places I've been around here, I haven't been impressed at all. I didn't want to go to Denny's and although I love First Watch, I wasn't in the mood to drive it there. I checked out the local places online and the various reviews and found Maria Restaurant as one of the best rated and reviewed.

Went there, saw many menu items I then wanted, and the plates that were being brought out to diners ALL looked delicious. Still craving French Toast, I went for what I came for.

It didn't disappoint and not only that, but my server, Amber, was not only a happy face who made it pleasant to be there, but she brought my food out in under 2 minutes. I said, "Did someone change their mind on their order?" and she laughed and said, "That's just the way we roll here".

I'm just going to leave a photo of what was served to me and let that do the rest of the review. Oh, and I've been back again and going again today, now to try the Chimichangas which many have recommended!

PS - The price was right, the food was a lot and the coffee was excellent... extras all the way around and worthy of a good tip!

While in Florida, my grandfather turned me onto this place. It comes highly recommended from the both of us. he’s been going there for years. Now whenever I travel to Florida, I will be going there for breakfast every morning as well. the food is wonderful. My compliments to the chef and the staff is always friendly. Thank you very much guys.

Jackie our waitress was very helpful, our food was very good , and nice and hot when we got it,but remember you need to pay with cash only and I don't have a problem with that

Cute little Mexican Restaurant, we went for breakfast and it was great. Breakfast burritos, breakfast quesadillas, however if you want just a standard American breakfast, you can get it. The coffee flowed easily, and you did not have to ask. It just kept coming will come back for sure.

Love this place! Best breakfast in Engelwood! Very authentic Mexican breakfast. I dream about the huevos tostadas breakfast.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They make you feel like a family member. The entire restaurant has a positive energy and great vibe. It's the best Mexican food you can get in Englewood and I've tried all the restaurants in the area. Amazing value to the point that I feel they are undercharging. They should raise their prices by 15% because I feel like I'm robbing them. The portions are huge and the presentation is top notch. They also give you complimentary chips and salsa. I've been there many times and I've never had a bad meal or service. Maria Restaurant always hits a homerun. Great to see a local mom and pop restaurant doing it the right way.

Our family absolutely LOVES the food and service here!! Everyone is so nice and attentive even though they're busy! My Coast Guard nephew and his family would drive down from Clearwater on a Sunday to meet us there for breakfast, that's how good it is here!!!!

Great breakfast for a reasonable price. And service makes you feel like family. I had the chorizo omelet with grits. Tasty and filling but not too heavy even with sour cream, salsa, and corn tortillas. Husband had the Denver omelet with home fries and wheat toast and liked it just fine. Coffee was good and so was the unsweetened iced tea. Cash only but it didn’t seem to slow down their business at all. Highly recommended.
