Stony Point

Love this place, been doing week trips here for year, camp ground is nice, location superb and the boat launch, parking and marina are amazing. This year there was a down side of locals coming through at night to steal things from boats in the marina which is sad. Everyone in the camp had to pull thier boat at night, cover it, and park it in the camp site. First time we've had this issue.

Otherwise we love this spot, but sadly are looking for a new spot for next year as with having small kids safety is paramount!

I loved this campground! It was quiet. Well kept, small and has very nice sites. Our site was 23. It's located at the end of the peninsula right on the water. We did get a lot of wind off the lake one night, but the rest were very calm. There is poison ivy on the trail to the water so watch for that! The showers were freezing, but it sounds like they're going to upgrade their system so let's hope this includes warm water for thr showers! I'll definitely stay here again.

Well, we found out that Lulu is not a waterdog! She had no interest in a swim. Our campsite was about 20 feet from Leech Lake and had a small beach area where we parked our chairs and relaxed. Seemed as is we were transported to an island paradise! PS Wear bug repellent!! There’s also a grass and beach area open to all campers.

Electric available at your site. Sewer hookup/ water available at a location near the middle of the campground and is well maintained.

No complaints. Campground was clean, bathrooms flushed and were stocked. Boat launch was nice, boat harbors fine with a fishing boat, campground hosts friendly and helpful. Lovely place to stay.

Booked site 20 and it was perfect for tenting. The small beach is next to site 19 so it was easy to walk to and access the lake.

Big open sites. Easy well maintained boat launch, you can launch 2 boats at the same time. Fish cleaning shack with freezer for guts to avoid critters.

Great campground. The bay was really nice to leave the boat at night and the camp site #17 had a ton of room for the truck and boat trailer. Bathrooms were clean and the showers are new. Very quiet at night and friendly summer camp watchers.

This is perhaps one of the best maintained camp grounds I have been too. They have an RV waste drop location, as well as bathrooms and showers. The bathrooms are clean and the showers are the best public showers I have ever seen. The camp sites themselves are pretty nice and most of them are covered by tall trees. The lake access is great, with a rock harbor that you can climb on, and two boat-to-water ramps. There is also a swimming beach.

Perfect weekend! Hosts are awesome and very informative. Bathrooms and showers were cleaned daily. Quiet and relaxing. Will definitely come again. Well maintained.

Beautiful National Forest Camping on Leech Lake.

Very well kept campground. Each lot is very grassy and has a lot of space and mature trees. The beach is sandy and clean, very nice. The bathrooms are decent, but the showers are nice.

Nice quiet campground with electric only hookups. Does have dump station and water spickets for filling water tanks. Some sites (reserved) are on the water. Restrooms and showers are clean.

Very nice and clean campgrounds. Well kept grounds, bathrooms and showers. We will come again.

Great boat launch

Beautiful and clean campsite with lots of trees and tentative staff. There are some water sites and more inland sites as well.

My family goes here every year and has for about 50 years! We love leech lake!
