If I could give this venue more than 5 stars, I would! My husband and I got married here on May 27th of this year. The weather during this weekend was not your typical Memorial Day Weekend weather as it was raining and chilly. Aaron & Daniel and the rest of the Board & Batten team adjusted my plans flawlessly. Our wedding day was everything we had imagined- and Board & Batten has a beautiful interior that made the transition to an indoor ceremony and cocktail hour stress free. The food was delicious, and my guests are still talking about how yummy it was! If you are looking for a venue, I highly recommend Board & Batten for your special day. My husband and I are so happy with our choice to get married here!

Just the loveliest place to have a wedding. I was recent bridesmaid at this venue and I was just so blown away. The building is beautiful and well maintained. They have beautiful vaulted ceilings, lots of windows, and photo worthy areas (outside, tree, porch etc.). I found the bridal suite to be spacious and a lot more accommodating than other Venus I have attended. The food was delicious. I think what stood out the most was the staff. Every single one was super friendly. Aaron kept everything in order and was on top of every single detail. I was super impressed! This place does not disappoint.

To say Board & Batten was the perfect venue is an understatement!!!! From the very beginning of our planning process Daniel and Aaron were extremely responsive and helpful! They made sure to provide us with every bit of information we would need in making our venue selection. Once we chose Board & Batten, they could not have been more kind, helpful, and professional throughout the planning process. The weeks leading up to the wedding they made sure my husband and I were prepared and felt stress free about the big day. Then finally our wedding day came and it was everything we hope for. Every single one of our guests told us how stunning the venue was. Our photographer could not stop saying how perfect this venue was for photos. The venue is cozy, romantic, elegant, extremely clean, and so functional! We didn’t even have to use a lot of decorations because the venue really is that beautiful! The venue staff on the day of was fantastic! They made sure all of our guests got their drinks quickly from the bar, they flipped the room quickly from ceremony to reception, they were flexible with the weather changes, and they were so friendly! It actually ended up raining the day of our wedding and everything was still just as perfect. This venue is designed for every season and any weather conditions! And oh my gosh the food was DELICIOUS, our guests were raving about the food. To top it off the food and drinks are done in house so we didn’t have to go through the hassle of finding and coordinating with outside vendors! We are so happy we chose Board & Batten for our wedding venue and I will be recommending them with a 1000 star review to any newlywed that asks! 💕

It is a truly stunning venue with amazing scenery all around it to serve as the perfect backdrop for your wedding day. As a wedding photographer that works all over the state, I can confidently say that Board & Batten is an incredible venue! It has everything you need on a wedding day to allow for the day to run smoothly and for guests to enjoy themselves! The bridal & groom suites are spacious and functional, the event spaces versatile and elegant. The side covered patio is great for portrait space in the rain, which is not always the case at wedding venues! It is a stunning space that will make the perfect backdrop for your wedding day!

The planning process was organized and the day of was the same way! Everything went extremely smooth and I knew I didn’t have to worry about a thing. The food is AMAZING as well. I wish I could give this venue more than 5 stars!!!! First of all it is a hidden gem tucked away in Lexington, NC. The venue is rustic yet it has a lot of elegant features, charm and personality. It is such a beautiful place that we didn't have to do a lot of decorating. This place meets the old saying, "Less is Best"

The food was amazing! Our guest enjoyed the cocktail hour on the beautiful patio as well as dinner during the reception.

Lastly, the staff was very accommodating, professional and overall on point from start to finish. Thank you Daniel, Aaron and Katie for an amazing experience through the wedding planning and execution of my daughter's wedding! You guys rock and I enjoyed every moment of working with you ALL!!!!

My husband and I got married here in January 2021! This venue is incredible! Katie is amazing, she answered every question I had in a timely manner and made all my dreams come true. We had a very large wedding party, 12 bridesmaids and 12 groomsmen and the bridal suite and grooms quarters were still a very comfortable space. The food was excellent and our guest raved about it. Thank you for everything Board & Batten!

This is a 5+ star venue! Expansive, well kept grounds; large indoor facilities with plenty of room for rainy events; exceptional chef and foods with board and batten ambiañce throughout. Events held here are very remarkable!

I cannot say enough great things about this space and the staff. We got married August 2023 and it was a dream. The communication from the start was wonderful and the venue is so gorgeous. They were flexible and amenable to everything we asked of them. It was better than I ever dreamed. Aaron Talbert was kind, supportive, direct and ESSENTIAL to our wedding. You guys are the best. Board and Batten gave us the wedding of our dreams. The space is incredibly gorgeous, versatile and stunning for any wedding. We received endless compliments from our guests on the event space. We chose to have our ceremony indoors and the flip was seamless. The space was stunning for our reception and flipped beautifully to the exact reception we imagined... gorgeous and the perfect space for a lot of fun and dancing. The outdoor patio was perfect for cocktail hour, providing enough shade and fans during the heat and our guests so enjoyed the view and the beautiful sunset. The photos anywhere on the property are unbelievable and just incomparable to any other venue that I have seen. Beyond all of the beauty, I do not have enough amazing things to say about Katie, Brian, Daniel and the rest of the staff. They were so quick to work with us and accommodate anything and everything we wanted. They were helpful without being overbearing and were the perfect fit for us. The staff on the night of was attentive and so kind to our guests. The food was incredible and the drinks were unbelievable... we received endless compliments on both. I would recommend this venue to anyone considering and am so happy that we had this perfect team and space to make our day perfect.

Everything about Board & Batten was INCREDIBLE! Katie and Brian were both amazing to work with during the planning process and were readily available any time we had a question. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and we could not have asked for a better wedding day! The staff who helped that evening were so helpful and courteous as well. Overall, we have received the most positive feedback from our guests and would recommend this venue to anybody planning a wedding!

Our son and his fiance selected Board and Batten as their venue for their wedding last weekend. My husband and I opted to have the rehearsal dinner there as well to insure that we could have the rehearsal on Friday evening. With that being said, both events(the rehearsal dinner and the wedding) went off without a hitch on their end. We decided to bring in outside catering for the RD to mix things up at bit. Daniel was most accommodating and made it very easy to use their facility. The food,prepared by Katie, for Saturday night was outstanding. Their organization in flipping the room from the ceremony to the reception was well executed. Hats off to Katie and Daniel for a job well done!!!
