Shorty’s catered a birthday celebration I had for my husband this weekend and I couldn’t be more pleased. Everyone loved the pulled pork, pulled chicken, and the delicious cornbread muffins. We had our order delivered and it arrived exactly when it was promised. Many thanks to Jessica and the Shorty’s Back 40 team for making our celebration so much easier to pull off.

Had our 50th high school reunion here and everything was great! Easy to mingle and converse and food was good.

Recently ordered food for about 100 people. The ordering process was easy and the two ladies I spoke with were extremely friendly and helpful. Delivery was there before our specified time and the driver was great in helping set up for serving. Super friendly and extended her condolences for our loss as we were catering for a celebration of life. Everyone commented on how great the food was and several asked for info on who did the catering. I would definitely recommend Back Forty Catering and will definitely use them again. Great experience all around.

We ordered from their "bulk menu", some pulled pork, pulled chicken, Mac and cheese and cornbread for our daughter's grad party.
The staff was super friendly, and even helped me load it into my car. They were very prompt, my order was ready when I showed up.The pans they put it in were sturdy too, not flimsy like I've had from other places. They put the pans into their own special cardboard boxes and that made the transport home really easy, kept the food nice and hot. The food was a hit! Everyone loved it! Mac and cheese was very popular with the teens lol Will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for bulk orders and will keep them in mind for any of our future parties!! Thanks back40!

Our company party was held here and I must say that the pulled pork and brisket, along with the mashed potatoes and cornbread for top notch. This is the second year we've had the company party at this location and I hope to go to another one next year!

We had two occasions to use this venue and it was great. Jessica and het staff took such good care of us. We will certainly use them again

Very nice..had 60th class reunion there

We're invited for an anniversary. The food was great, and from what I could tell, that was a universal opinion. The bar was staffed by a couple people who were very friendly.
People ended up migrating to the outside patio as the weather was warm and cooling off.
The outdoor section was pretty nice after eating inside. There was room for cornhole boards, multiple tables, a bar area, and a place where people started dancing as the music was loud and in touch with the crowd.
I definitely recommend this place for larger functions etc.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience. We had our wedding reception at the Back Forty, the food was amazing and everything ran smoothly. Jessica was a HUGE help and made sure everything went according to plan. I couldn’t have asked for a better venue or evening. I 110% recommend Back Forty for any catering or venue needs!

Nick & his team did an exceptional job catering our wedding this past October. He provided us with multiple tastings to ensure we got exactly what we wanted on our big day & catered to all of our requests without complaint. The food and staff were exceptional & we received several compliments on how tasty everything was. I would highly recommend Back Forty Catering for your wedding day or any other celebration!

We had Shorty's cater our wedding and everything was great! Everyone was ranting about how delicious the food was, and the staff were amazing. The price we paid for the amount of food we got was an amazing deal. I definitely recommend Shorty's to anyone planning a party or event. Can't wait to go to the actual restaurant to have more excellent BBQ!

On a somber occasion, ( a close friend's funeral), the family invited all funeral attendees to join them for lunch here. The food and beverages were of outstanding quality, making a sad day a little bit brighter.

Back Forty catered our wedding last night and it was phenomenal! The food was amazing, they were right on time and set everything up perfectly! We had so many compliments on our food. 10/10 would recommend!

Went to a special event celebration here. As always, the food was superb. The staff was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend the space for any event you might be planning.

Our family was unable to have a luncheon after Mom's funeral in January. Coming from a large family we needed space. I emailed Nick.... 20 minutes later he replied. WOW! What service. The catering team is AWESOME and so is the food.
I was about to help my 2 elderly Aunts with their food since there is a few stairs. One of the staff came to the rescue.
We never felt rushed by the staff. We told many funny family stories. We could've talked all day about Mom.
The only thing that would of made the day better is if Mom and Dad could of been there too.
I will most definitely use Shortys back Forty again.

We had Shorty’s Back Forty cater our wedding and the food was delicious! Everyone raved about the food. Nick Mancy and his crew were wonderful to work with and went above and beyond.

We hired Shorty’s for our May wedding in 2019. The food is obviously just incredible and speaks for itself! It was also a huge value - amazing meats and grilled veggies and sides for nearly less than half what it would have cost for mediocre meat/veggies for a plated dinner! The guests raved about it and we still get comments. Nick and his Team were incredibly professional, responsive and were even willing to make a trip to our venue beforehand to see the layout. We really can’t say anything but excellent things about them, the food and the whole experience! Can’t wait to hire them again for our next excuse to throw a party for friends.

We used their facility and catering for our small wedding. Everything was fantastic. Everyone raved about the food! The coordinators were great to work with and really went above and beyond to make sure our group had a lovely time. I highly recommend!
