If you’re looking for a place to buy a new machine this is the place to. Gary is a wonderful to deal with. About 2 months ago I bought a new machine which I had never had a computerize one. See last week sewing some heavy material and something happen and I wasn’t able to correct problem. Today Gary had me back operating with no problem. This is the place to go he listen to you and then will show which of the machine he has you might like no sales pressure. He also repairs machines, Mac books and vacuums.

What a nice guy. I thought I would have to leave my sewing machine, he fixed it right there. Knew exactly what the problem was. Will be getting my business from now on. Great place very knowledgeable . Thank you

My vacuum brush stopped working. I new it needed a new belt, but I was concerned that there were other issues. I took it to Gary, and he opened it up while I was there. He explained exactly what was wrong (no charge).
He had the part in stock, and I picked up my fully functioning vacuum the very next day. Thrilled.

I would recommend this center over and over again. Very pleasant and have great deals. They sell nice stuff too

I called JC sewing center with a troubled Shark Ion Robot that I love dearly. I was told to come on same day and drop off so they could take a look at it. It was fixed perfectly for a reasonable price with a courteous and professional attitude. I highly recommend their business.

TRUSTWORTHY!! This is the only place I will take my machines and the only place that I trust. They're always honest and fair.
Most places have that clique mentality. They're out to make a sale and will push tens of thousands on someone convincing them they can start a business out of their home. Most of these people end up stuck with a machine that they have no idea what to do with. Let alone running a business with it. I've been sewing for most of my life and on a professional level for several years. THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE I TRUST! They're honest. They're fair in their fabric cuts. No shortages that mess up my quilt plans. They're up front about possible costs in repairs and the time it will take.
They're kind people and very friendly to talk to. I always enjoy a trip to this store. While other places have bigger selections of fabrics, I'm just nowhere near as comfortable in those places where they mock me to my face. Johnson City Sewing Center is a safe space for the Queer, Disabled, Neurodivergent and POC communities.

I’ve really enjoyed this store. Management has been very helpful in picking material. As well as general sewing questions. I’ve bought several machines from Gary (owner). Always there to answer my questions. Felt like I got a good trade-in when purchasing a new machine. Several classes I’ve attended have been great. His knowledge of sewing n embroidery is great. He’s done the hands-on of sewing n alterations as a business. Needing a light weight machine with a multitude of stitches - Elna Lotus2. My friend n I both purchased one. Even does smocking. It was under $800. All self contained. Janome is another brand he sells. He’s opened up a classroom for sewers to come an do like a Sit n Sew. Plus an Embroidery Club. Would recommend Johnson City Sewing Center to everyone. Also has our friend Lucy Daniel who has a vast knowledge of most all the machines plus.

We love the Johnson City Sewing Center, Gary has been wonderful to work with and I've loved quilting on my mom's quilting machine she's gotten from him!

I bought an Oreck vacuum cleaner there and they were awesome. Ended up taking my mom and we got her Janome Embroidery machine. She is loving it. They're knowledgeable, friendly, and nice.

I highly recommend shopping at JC Sewing center for a new machine. I bought a Juki TL-18QVP and Gary was awesome to work with. You will not go wrong stopping by and looking around. The customer service and attention to details was A+++++

I"m giving them 5 stars because of their friendliness and their excellent work. They have done several monogramming jobs for me and I have always been highly pleased. However, the last two (2) monogramming jobs they did for me were completely wrong. A Kavu bag that we had agreed that the letters would be done in dark fuchsia to match the zippers on the bag. Instead the lettering was done in red and there is no red on the bag. The other bag was a beach bag, beige with blue anchors. We agreed that red lettering would look great. The monogramming was done in red. However, the middle letter (the letter of my last name) was monogrammed the same size as the other two letters. So the monogramming looks like it was done for man. I was severely disappointed as they have always done the most excellent work and very timely. Unfortunately, there is no fix to either of the bags.

Gary just delivered my new Grace Q’Nique 15R and Grace Q Zone frame. The service provided was excellent and the deal he gave me couldn’t be beat!!!
