Marianne Orlando Illustrations

Marianne was recommended to me when we were in search of an artistic rendering of our building to be used as a gift honoring our organization's founders. Marianne took the commission, reduced her rates for us because we are a nonprofit, and turned the job around in record time. The results were so far beyond our expectations, the attention to detail was impressive, and her work totally captured the essence of our building. Most importanty, the recipients were absolutely delighted with their gifts. Thank you SO much, Marianne!

Working with Marianne was a delight, and we are thrilled with the painting we commissioned. She truly captured the spirit of the home. My husband and I commissioned Marianne to illustrate our home. She has been an absolute joy to work alongside! We supplied her with images, gave some direction on what to highlight and she delivered in spades. She provided initial sketches showing us different angles that best highlighted certain assets. Once we decided on the angle, she asked for more detailed images when she couldn't make them out from our photos. The end result is absolutely perfect! We are blown away. Marianne is absolutely lovely to work with. We provided a few photos, had a brief clarifying back-and-forth, and she got straight to work. Before we knew it, we were looking at a wonderful portrait of our neighborhood dogs. Very fairly-priced for custom artwork. We're very happy with the result!

I had Marianne draw a picture of my dog Monty as a very personal Christmas present for my husband. When he opened the gift on Christmas day, he was so taken aback by it that tears came to his eyes. He said it was beautiful and that he was going to place it in his office next to the little statue of Monty he had made. Marianne just created the drawing from a picture I gave her...and really focused on the details of our pup. She is incredibly talented, easy to work with and truly loves what she does. Marianne is an excellent artist and extremely creative. She captures the essence of your home, pet, upcoming event, etc. She gets the proportions and layout of the house or item. Then she adds lots of color. It is a keepsake for years to come and framed on the wall in my home. I get lots of compliments and treasure it!

For a Christmas present for our dear friend, I commissioned Marianne to do a portrait of Molly, his Bassett hound.
Marianne approached the work very thoughtfully. She asked me key questions about Molly and her personality, and asked me to send her some images of Molly as well.
It didn’t take Marianne too long to produce an excellent likeness of Molly, capturing her personality, and surrounded by a colorful background. The effect is what I would characterize as pure Marianne Orlando style— whimsical, colorful, and yet highly recognizable.
Our friend loved the finished product, and hung “Molly” in a place of honor in his family room, where I see it each time we visit. And every time I look at it I think, “yes, that’s Molly all right, “ and then I smile.

As a friend and colleague Marianne came to the rescue when I was trying to find a unique and special gift for a friend leaving her home of 45 years. From a real estate photo Marianne created an incredible likeness and detail of the home she was leaving, which held so many beautiful memories.
