Hometown Bar and Grill

Hubby & I visited Saturday July 20th and were very impressed. Space was clean, well lit and inviting upon first entering. We were greeted as soon as we entered by Jill and she really made the experience what it was. She was so friendly and outgoing. Gave recommendations and kept our sodas flowing. She checked on us multiple times and did a great job connecting with us personally. Food came out in a timely manner and was hot and fresh. Hubby had a steak wrap with fries and wings, I had Philly cheesesteak egg rolls and bbq chicken flatbread. Hubby was able to customize his wrap and said it was seasoned well and tasted good. I enjoyed the bbq flatbread as it was balanced well and had plenty of sauce. Egg rolls were delicious and I enjoyed the serving size of the salsa and sour cream. The absolute star of the meal were the bbq wings. They were done to perfection! They had the perfect amt of crisp, the center was juicy and flavorful and the bbq sauce flavor was good and well balanced! We both agreed they may be the best wings in the area. We will definitely be back!

Long time resident of Eau Claire and thought I'd give this place a try finally. Was not disappointed at all. I was able to call in my order and pick it up quickly. The burger was very good! My son had the chicken straps (as kids often do) and was raving about it. Staff was super friendly as well!

Came for the burger but got the fish cause it was the special of the day. Was amazing n my bar tender was awesome as well like above and beyond. Skippy is literally the best

The new owner is going above and beyond with the bar and his community. Food is great, employees are amazing, and bar is clean. But the cheese curds with chic sauce is phenomenal. My favorite hole in the wall in the country.

Stopped in to check it out today and got a cheeseburger, spicy chicken sandwich and a hot beef sandwich with fries for myself and the family. It was DELICIOUS. Everything was cooked to perfection, great flavor, hot and fresh and the service was awesome. So happy to have such good food so close to home!

The menu isn't huge, but it's delicious. Sandwiches, wraps, sides, everything we've tried has been wonderful.

Good as hell! Fast as hell, and cheap as hell…. His custom wing sauces and burgers made me wanna run home and smack my momma.

My husband and I are camping nearby and after reading the reviews, we decided to have dinner here last night. This is a hole-in-the-wall bar/restaurant in the small town of Eau Clare. I don't know if they were shortstaffed last night, but the guy working the bar and waiting on tables at the same time was wonderful. He was very sweet and accommodating. He did a great job running both. The food was amazing! I had the cheeseburger with olives and my husband had a cheeseburger. We shared the delicious fries. Soooo good! We will definitely go back when we're in the area.

Great bar and food. Everyone is very friendly and that always creates a fun atmosphere. Bar tenders are the best. Good service always with a smile. We really enjoy frequenting our favorite watering hole.

The burgers here are amazing! The bartenders are also the cooks, they work extremely hard and they care about the food they serve. This is a place where you can get great food, have a lot of laughs and feel right at home.

Surprised us! Server/cook (owner?) was awesome. Food was VERY good for a small town diner. My 10 year old can't wait to go back for another chicken sandwich. All 6 of us ordered something different and we all enjoyed our meal thoroughly. We were a little nervous about our welcome as the place seemed mostly filled with locals grabbing a drink after work. We were made to feel very welcome and look forward to going back. Oh, and it is not called the Village Inn on the exterior of the building as Google calls it, I think it is "1 Stop Grill and Bar"

The best burgers in sw Michigan hands down! And Missy is a phenominal bar tender! Oh and they have an insane list of french fry styles and cheese curds😍

Wife and I had burgers & fries and they were a generous meaty burger cooked to perfection on a toasted bun accompanied with some good fries.

Skippy is a real one the burgers were cooked absolutely amazing could not ask for anymore perfect service!!!!

GREAT place for food and drinks. Bartenders are the ABSOLUTE BEST, hands down.
