Isle of Rhodes

Always friendly; always great food. The restaurant might be situated in the Midwest, but the servers offer a “southern charm” that set you at ease. The dining room is small and intimate, but quite cold in the autumn and winter since take-out orders are being picked up on a near constant basis through the main entrance. I typically sit in a window nook to avoid the blasts of cold air blowing through the open door. The only way to fix this is to open a new location for delivery and pickup, but that seems remote. So don’t leave your mittens and hats in the car because you may need them if you will be dining inside the restaurant during winter. One might be better joining the line of take-out orders and returning home than eating inside during colder months.

If I could offer a suggestion for another dish to add to their menu, it would be Penne alla Vodka. This would add some diversity to their sauces, as it seems only one sauce is used in each pasta dish, therefore each pasta dish tastes nearly identical in flavor. Spaghetti, mostaccioli, lasagna; it tastes the same in my opinion. I would encourage the proprietors to explore the possibility of a an additional sauce and experiment. The only other sauce they seem to have is marinara as a dipping sauce, which is quite tasty.

I am not partial to their pizza, but the rest of the menu is top-notch. Whatever improvements I feel might be needed for a tastier pizza, the quality of pizza Isle of Rhodes prepares is still light years ahead of Happy Joe’s on the same block and is quite impressive for a small, family owned eatery. Whether your heart is set on pizza, pasta, or Americana fare, Isle of Rhodes is ready to please your palate.

Tried this place for the first time this afternoon and we were not disappointed. The bread and sauce was amazing, we then ordered a pizza and we may have our new favorite pizza place. Our waitress was amazing as well. We had a wonderful experience here and recommend it.

Hidden gem! I'm from Chicago, so I know a good pizza when I eat one. Never expected to find the most DELICIOUS pizza here! Stopped on our way through because it was the only place open. So glad we did! Not only were the pizzas AMAZING, the gal who served us was sweet and smiley and very attentive to my husband's several refills of pop. Clean bathrooms, too. Like VERY clean! Kudos to whoever owns the place for offering such a great establishment as d staffing it with great people!

Best pizza joint in town. Crust is so delicious and one of a kind. The meat pizza is my go to and always hot and fresh when you pick it up.

Best pizza, bread and sauce ever. Lots better than Angelos. Nick the owner is awesome. Waitresses are the best around the area. Enjoy going to this restaurant.

We get Isle of Rhodes to-go relatively frequently, at least once a month. Normally we stick with some sort of pasta like the mostaccioli or even the pizza, but this time I decided to expand my horizons and try out the full submarine and dine-in! I had no idea it was going to be the size of my arm. It was decent, the bread got a little soggy from all the toppings so after awhile I just started tossing it to the side, but the sheer amount of food you get at this price point is very hard to beat. We also decided to try out appetizers for the first time from here and it did not disappoint; the cheese curds were fantastic! We ate them so fast I didn't even have time to get a photo. They are lightly battered and remind me of a curd from Culvers. I'm excited to try the rest of the appetizers now, especially since they are only $5.

Being one of the few gems that exist in Morrison, I recommend this restaurant.

Very good pizza one of my favorite places to get Pizza their bread is awesome

Wow! We can't figure out how we missed out on this place all these years. Beef gyro was so good and the slightly seasoned fries were perfect. Fish sandwich w/ ravioli bites was also perfect. I can't say enough about our server! She was amazing and juggled everything like a pro! Thank you, we will be back!

This restaurant has been around for years. They relocated to a smaller building just down the road. I’m so glad they’re still around. It’s a staple every time I make it back to Morrison.
It’s a little hard to find parking but after house the bank lot across the street works well.
My go to is tortellini or baked tortellini or baked mostaccioli. The other fav is their all meat pizza minus the sliced beef.
Their bread is amazing. You’ll likely want another half or whole loaf to take with you.
The restaurant is simple and small no frills.
Service is great. Generally a server who seems like she is always there and always has a smile to share, even on busy nights.
Go get ya some Italian food. You won’t be disappointed.

Our first time so tried cheese curds and ordered pizza. We will be definitely going back. Food was great! Leftovers even good. Waitress was quick nice and checked on you several times. Pizza arrived quick with lots of toppings. Loved

This little pizza place is an absolute hidden gem. I have ordered here dozens of time and have never had a bad meal. They cook to order and the prices are more than reasonable. Delivery is quick and efficient and the drivers are always friendly. I would recommend this restaurant based on the fact their food is delicious and fairly priced. From time to time they have new menu items and a recent on is the chicken, bacon ranch pizza. We added onion and tomato, and this pizza is absolute fire! Well done Isle of Rhodes!!!

Great food at a tremendous value. Always love stopping here when I'm in town as everything on the menu tastes great! You must try the spaghetti! It tastes like I've been doing spaghetti wrong all my life until I ate it here. Fantastic sauce and always perfectly prepared noodles. Friendly service and the restaurant itself, while small, has lots of charm and character as well. Go ahead and stop by today.

This place has some of the best pizza. The toppings are huge and there was a generous amount of them. The thin crust and sauce are crispy and delicious. You can dine in but it appeared to me that most people would order carryout. There wasn't much of a wait for our pizza. This place deserves more customers so give them a try.

Stopped in for the first time to order a couple gyros to take out. Excellent fresh flavor, seasoned just right. Plentiful fries. Very reasonable price. Clean place with happy friendly people.
Looking forward to trying more of the menu.
