China Wok

The restaurant offers buffet options and a la carte ordering from a menu. We were greeted immediately by the owner and he was very friendly. We were going to order from the menu but the buffet looked delicious, fresh and had a large variety. It was a great experience all around. Nothing fancy just a small business owner doing his best.

This is the best Chinese restaurant in the area at this price. The buffet is small, but they have a variety of options, the food is fresh, the service is good and the taste is excellent. It is pretty standard Chinese cuisine. We have dined here several times and have always had a good experience.

Hands down the best Chinese food around. It's been years since I've had Chinese food this good. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

For such a very small buffet, I will admit I was impressed! Each dish was cooked to perfection and nothing was dried out. They have fewer options than a big style buffet, but believe in quality! Everything was tender and flavorful as it should be. Service was excellent. Lunch price is only $9.50 too.

I ate there for my first time recently and for American- Chinese food it was pretty good they had everything I was expecting to see except Bok Choy but not many Chinese buffet have Bok Choy on the buffet I've only found one and they only had it a couple of times. But China Wok cooks very well so if they were to ever have Bok Choy I know it would be delicious. The reason I only gave 4 stars on service is because the staff doesn't speak good enough English to understand what they are saying, but other than that they are really nice and helpful. I recommend China Wok out of all the Chinese Buffet in and around Ocean Springs. Stephen Ladnier Sr.

I ate there for the first time today. Will definitely be going back. There are a lot of items to choose from on the buffet. The food was hot and good. Stopped by around 1:00 pm.

Very good Chinese imo. They are very accommodating and try to make sure whatever you want on the buffet is hot and ready. Best fried rice in OS. They have been in OS for over 30 years and there is a reason. Try it while you're in town.

I love their food. I always order to go, and it's always still hot when I get home.

Excellent food and huge portions! Will definitely order again! Loved the spare ribs. Fried rice was delicious and the Kung Pao Beef was perfect and spicy too! We ordered delivery from "ASAP" formerly Waitr and the food was hot and delivered quickly.

I will not be exaggerating when i leave this review. This was the BEST Chinese buffet, if not food in general, that I’ve had in forever. And when i try to think of anything that tops it, i cant. I went around 11:30am with my brother and we were sat immediately and could get food the minute we got through the door. It was semi quiet, small conversations from each table didn’t overlap one another where it felt like i had to talk louder. The man walking around was extremely kind, taking plates immediately, filling our drinks and asking if everything was okay. Come to think of it, everyone there was extremely kind and worked to make sure everything was clean and well kept. And I haven’t even gotten to the food! There were, i believe either beef or pork sticks that i wish i could still have the taste of in my mouth. The fried chicken, though it shouldn’t be the focus, was amazing! The white rice was sticky, had good taste and had no hard grains. I paired it with the general tsos chicken and it was phenomenal. Id say the only thing remotely disappointing was how fast i got full! My brother enjoyed all of his food as well. We both had two plates and called it after that. A buffet that was perfection from the staff to the food and it only ended up being 23.34. I was extremely happy with the service and left a 10$ tip. I wish I could’ve given more because what they gave me was an amazing lunch that makes me want to come back again and again. I have nothing but positive things to say and i thank them for making my Birthday start off strong without them even realizing it! 11/10 stars

This is the best American Chinese buffet on the Gulf Coast in my opinion. You will not have the several times over, number of dishes in the selection which a larger buffet has. Each selection is good. I have never eaten anything at this restaurant that I would not eat again. I would get the owners a new set of steam tables, if I could afford. Excellent service. Courteous Staff. There's also a Checker's / Rally's hamburger in the same mall, a Taco Bell and an El Saltillo restaurant. Notice that I ate at China Wok. Nuff Said!!

I love this cute little Chinese wok restaurant has been here many years. My whole family has gone here and it is so cozy and can be romantic. I am old-fashioned and love old style places to eat. I miss the truck stop restaurants too but there is a convience in coming here. Lu works here and he makes the business. He is so friendly. I feel home and the price is very reasonable you cannot beat. The manager is very nice too. Great food!

Went out to eat at China wok yesterday for day before birthday that is today. The lady who works there overheard my sister singing happy birthday to me and joined in and then the guy that helps there told me happy birthday. They sure are kind people at China Wok. Never fails me. Better experience too versus what I had today on my actual birthday at Cracker Barrel. So thank you China Wok and thank you to my sister!

Great food and professional service. We go often and totally satisfied.

I have been here a few times and the food was great! They have a good selection. My oldest and youngest sons really likes the place and they even have a high chair which I was definitely great full for. The price is definitely affordable.

My opinion may be a moot point as I have the stomach of a caveman, but I have always loved this establishment. My family and I have been coming here for years and never had an issue with the staff or the food. It is not too fancy, nor terrible. Large to go portions and the buffet is always on point. It is a chinese buffet and they do not serve pizza, french fries, crab legs, mac and cheese and so forth. I prefer that they concentrate on the chinese food and try to not draw in the whole city and overly Americanize it. It gets my 5 stars, for what that is worth.

Well isnt this a hidden gem! We found ourself wanting some good Chinese food and some of the other buffets have been below average lately! Although we shop in this center all the time, I've never even noticed this place... and what a shame because it was fantastic!

Dinner was 7.95 per person and although it's small, it is mighty! Started off with some egg drop soup, which was so delish and having the crunchy strips available was a big bonus! Then had a huge variety of items.. some favorites include the egg rolls, dumplings and the chicken on a stick!

The service was excellent as well, drinks never came close to being empty and finished plates were scooped up quickly! Waitress was very polite and all the staff spoke to you with a smile!

So excited we found this place and look forward to eating there again in the near future!

This little-known family owned restaurant is very affordable and well worth the the visit! The food was delicious and hot and the service was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our full bellies after leaving there. Highly recommend!

The China Wok is a decent little place to order takeout or sit in at the buffet. The associates are polite, and they made us a batch of fresh wontons at our request even near closing time. The buffet is simple with basic variety, but enough to satisfy the Chinese craving. The prices are great on takeout or buffet.

The place was clean, but it was somewhat dark inside. The seating was cramped for our party of 3 so I personally wouldn't bring a family in to eat.

Overall, it's worth a shot.

I have been to a lot of Chinese Buffets and this is by far the best tasting one. The staff is extremely friendly and the restaurant is very clean. I definitely recommend this place 10/10. I will be coming back soon!
