Woody's Roadside Ocean Springs

Visiting from out of state, we stopped by Woody’s after a family member recommended the establishment. It was better than the recommendation! We started with the cheese bombs - oh so scrumptious, highly recommend - and then shared blackened and fried Royal red shrimp platters. The fries and shrimp had the perfect crispness. All were mouthwatering delicious! If I had to give one complaint, it was the children’s menu chicken bites were barely average (yes, I tried a bite). But everything else, superb. It was refreshing to have excellent service by Sean. And the hostesses at the front who recommended the shrimp were spot on. We will return again one day.

My first time here and will not be my last!!! Enjoyed every dish from the App- Ent was delicious,,, And the atmosphere is nice, and clean, Our Server was very attentive and i have to say the Tea was on point!! Next time we will sit outside it seems so peaceful.

Something had to be less than 5! I had the Skillet fried flounder and it has been many yrs since I have eaten such a superb piece of Flounder. Light taste, not dry or covered with flavoring. I chose the cocktail sauce and it was very tasty. The grilled asparagus was delicious and tender. It was recommended to try Woodys and I am glad I did. Real fried onion rings, real service, great atmosphere, delicious flounder.
WILL BE BACK

Stopped by this place today just to try it.
Excellent Customer service from our waitress Kaylee, she was knowledgeable about the food and friendly with a SMILE.
Our homemade remoulade sauce was Excellent with our beautiful battered onion rings.
The steak quesadillas was perfectly cooked "medium."
Definitely stop by if you're in the area of Woody's in Ocean Springs.
I love the atmosphere!

My Big Ben burger was the best burger I’ve had in a long time. The onion tangles on top were amazing. The balsamic mayo was a miss but ask for garlic Mayo instead. I love that asparagus is an option for sides because I have to watch carbs and fries aren’t my friend.

My partner had triple tail tacos and they were also very good.

Our server was great! I didn’t catch her name but the receipt says Bree.

I’ll definitely eat here again. My only complaint is the noise level in the restaurant.

We ate at Woody’s for the first time this evening and loved it! They have something for everyone. I ordered the Big Style Nachos with the BBQ Pork, and my husband ordered the Redfish with Royal Red Shrimp. Our lovely waitress, Victoria, informed me that the next time we come in, I could order the nacho chips on the side, that way my nachos wouldn’t get soggy too quickly! I think the next time we come in to eat, I will try one of their burgers!

Fried catfish/ shrimp combo with Mac and cheese
Kids fried cod with Mac and cheese
Pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and sweet potato fries
The woody burger (lettuce, tomato, cheese and bacon) with Mac and cheese
Hot Buffalo hot wings with ranch and Mac and cheese

Came to this amazing place where my partner and I was greeted with a warm atmosphere. I selected Teriyaki steak , which I enjoyed to the fullest. I highly recommend this! In addition to this experience, our server, Sean, was absolutely wonderful, checking in frequently to ensure we were satisfied and happy with our foods. He was very sweet and his level of hospitality was marvelous. I would recommend family and friends to this beautiful place. Just make sure to find Sean!

First time in the newly renovated bar. Our service was the perfect amount of attention without suffocation. Never felt forgotten 👍. Food was excellent and the $6 margaritas were just what the doctor ordered 🥳

We love the cheese bombs appetizer. Their burgers are very good, I got the Woody's burger, but there's a bunch of options. For the side, the mac and cheese has been our favorite so far. I tried a bite of their catfish, I'll probably get that next time I'm there.

One of the best restaurant experiences ever!! We live in Mobile and wanted to take a drive to Ocean Springs for a bite to eat and enjoy some down time!! Picked Woodys and wow this was a great decision!! We sat at the bar which was super clean and very nice!! The bar tender was spot on, informative, attentive, and very friendly!! We started with a Bushwacker that was very good!! My wife ordered a lemon drop martini, which are hard to order and get a good one but this one was perfect!! The second round we asked for a Bay Breeze and a margarita!! Both were tasty and the margarita wasn’t made from a basic mix!! The Ahi Tuna was some of the best we’ve ever had along with a side salad that was good and bigger than just being a side!! For our entrees we ordered sliders and fries that were cooked perfectly and had great flavor!! The redfish and royal red shrimp couldn’t have been cooked and served any better!! All in all, we will be making the drive to ocean springs more often just to eat here!!

Conditions were great, waitresses were attentive and kind. Food was delicious. I would definitely return when in the area. With 8 in our group, we all received our food in a timely manner and we did not have to rush to get back to our Training site. Outstanding!

The crab cakes and the seafood nachos our group ordered were very good. The burgers were a bit dry and just okay. The salads were fine. The shrimp poboy was amazing. I would really recommend getting seafood here. Our server took one of our drinks to fill, and we had to hunt him down 15 minutes later to get him to bring it back. Just felt a bit lacking.

Had a wonderful dinner tonight at Woody’s. My burger with pulled pork was very good and the sweet potato fries were fabulous. Best part of my evening was our sweet server Emma. She was very personable and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My family loves coming to Woody’s. Never disappoints!!! My husband is very big on service and we are always treated great. Tonight we had Shawn as a server and hands down THE BEST SERVICE we’ve received from any restaurant yet! Definitely a good place to go in ocean springs!

We were traveling with our Basset's Lucy and Ethel and swung in hear and asked if we could eat outdoors and bring the girls - they said of course and set us up at a picnic table on their deck - service was awesome, and one by one most of the servers came out to greet the dogs. Food was great, reasonable prices - who could ask for more!? We'll be back - many times!

First time in Mississippi and I was told to check out Woodys. Had an awesome meal-the Korean tacos are where it’s at! The bartender, Michael was great and the area was so clean and welcoming. When I come back I’ll definitely be eating here again!
