Toast N Jam

Amazing experience! We had to wait for a table but for less than 15 minutes on a busy Saturday morning. We had the pesto omelet, the classic duo, hash and eggs, and apple crisp French toast, plus a pancake. Everything was delicious. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

New customers please note that Toast N Jam was previously What's Cooking. The What's Cooking website is still up with their old address, so we got a bit confused between which place was right.

HOWEVER: Do NOT let that steer you away! The menu looked similar and our food was DELICIOUS. You could tell it's a local favorite because, on a Thursday morning, it was packed. Our waitress recommended the poutine, and I am so happy I listened. Her service was lovely and food tasty!

Food was amazing!!!! This is my new spot!!! I recommend everyone try this place. The french toast was so good. I went 3 days later with my daughter and got the apple crisp french toast and she got the nutella banana french toast. They both were so delicious 😋.

The French toast with cream cheese stuffing was the best best breakfast food item I’ve ever had!! It’s a little pricey. I think that instead of two slices it should come with 3 slices The music was a little too loud The atmosphere is very nice. Awesome waitress

This is an exceptional little restaurant for any time of the day. Everyone is super friendly, portions are outstanding, prices are awesome, and the chef definitely takes pride in their work. Even for takeout, these meals are plated better than some high-end restaurants I’ve been to. You gotta go. But it fills up quick - highly recommend takeout if you don’t want to wait for a table!

This is not the restaurant your grand parents brought you to when you were a kid. This is modern day breakfast with an urban twist. GREAT JOB! Keep up the good work

Went for mother's day with the family. Service was excellent! Food was amazing! Good prices. Nice atmosphere with some music. I can't wait to go back and try the different French toasts and pancakes! Definitely a hidden gem in the city! I wish I got pics but we ate too fast.

My mom and I have been going here every Sunday for the last couple of months and LOVE it! The service is phenomenal and all the servers seem like they really enjoy their jobs.
The food is good and great presentation. I love the micro greens they add to each dish and was happy to hear they are sourced locally.
They also play great music!

Food NEVER disappoints! Staff is super friendly as well. I stop in at least a couple of times a week, and they are always consistent.

The food was amazing - so many options it was hard to choose! Wonderful Portuguese influences, delicious flavors! Tayla was an awesome server - charming, funny, made us feel welcome! You might need to wait for a table, but it's totally worth it!

Let's start with the service: Lisa is probably one of the most attentive servers I've ever had.

The food here is second to none. This area has been lacking elevated breakfast food for a very long time. I knew the old location would be sufficient because the food was just too good to stay a secret. Glad they made the move to a bigger spot and that more people can enjoy this gem. I wish them all the success they clearly deserve!

This was my first time at Toast N Jam, as well as my sister, neice, and nephew. We each ordered a different dish and it was absolutely delicious. I loved my turkey burger and their crispy fries and im picky with fries! The staff was very friendly, I highly recommend trying this place.

This was our second time eating breakfast here. The service was prompt and pleasant. The food was awesome. Hubby ordered the blueberry pancakes, they were light & fluffy and delicious. I ordered chicken & waffle, another hit, perfectly cooked chicken and the best waffle around. I can’t wait to go here for lunch.

The food was absolutely amazing Everything that I ordered came out perfectly.
It came out in a timely fashion and the waitresses were all extremely professional attentive and kind
The atmosphere was nice and bright and open and very clean very welcoming I plan on going back and bringing family with me to sit down and enjoy the food together.

Fast service but not rushed. Food was delicious and plentiful. Perfect breakfast place if you're in the area. There's even a store next door that sells Comic books & guitars!
