Came in on opening night for pizza, beer, and axe throwing and was very happy with the whole experience. The staff was friendly and the owner came over to give us pointers on how best to throw the axe and how to navigate the games. Even added more time to our axe throwing time slot because he was talking us though it. Good selection of beers and food, and a great “all-in-one” place for dinner and entertainment. Highly recommend for a fun night out!

WOW,, the pizza was really great with lots of toppings, quality crust and sauce. Think of it like high quality rustic type of pizza, as best way I can describe it. We went there to throw axes which was my first time. The manager and staff were kind, courteous, helpful, and gave us instructions to help us throw axes, learn the scoreboard, which was really fun. Among the ax throwing, pizza, and beer. we had a really great time. Definitely going back!

The food was really good. We had the garlic knots, which were alright, and a medium.combo 5 was definitely good. Service was really good. The crust was fluffy and not overcooked, and there was a good cheese to sauce ratio. Our server, Destiny, and a few others were very attentive and answered all our questions and helped us out as we moved from our table to the axe throwing area and back.

The axe throwing is really what sets this place apart. The staff did a great job explaining the rules and the board is digital, so you can choose from a couple different games to throw your axe. There's three lanes and it starts at half an hour and goes up to an hour and a half of throw time for different price brackets. It's a great way to pass the time waiting for your food to throw a couple axes, get the food have a slice and a beer and keep throwing. If you’re in Jackson and have an hour or so to kill and want some good beer and pizza and to throw some axes while you wait, this is the spot to be.

Definitely a fun place and great pizza, fried green beans and garlic cheese bread. Don't know about the price because someone else paid. Will be going back for sure. Throwing axes is way harder than it seems. We need more practice. My only complaint was the axes throwing area is kinda cramped if there's more than 1 group

Incredibly happy with everything the new owners have done. The food is VERY good and the cost is very reasonable. The seasonings on the food are all incredible as well as the cook. They clearly care and know what they are doing.

I haven't even tried the axe throwing, but it looks nicer than ones I've seen in big cities. I've heard the interactive games are better too.

The look and feel of the remodel is great. Well spent time and money. The place feels so much cleaner and updated compared to the previous owners.

Definitely my favorite pizza in town.

Pizza is great! Great brew options too. Everyone is friendly and fast. If you're going to pickup, call in instead of doing online. Love having great locally owned restaurants like this!

This place is a restaurant but also like a bowling alley... In which you throw axes. Not you axes and a rubber board. Real metal axes that stick into a wood wall. Digital projector system to change the target or play different games. Axe throwing only allowed for people 12+.

Best pizza in the country, I’ve tried a bunch in different states and this place is great! The owners and staff were also very nice with great service. The axe throw had a good selection of fun games and the spaces were divided so it felt very safe. It was very clean and affordable too. I wish I could take this place with me! I can’t wait to try more food from the menu.

We had a fantastic time at Bad Axe Brews, the Axe Throwing Bar and Grill. The Bad Axe garlic fries and Bad Axe Brews were delicious, and the service was attentive and helpful. Looking forward to returning for some more fun on our next visit. An unusual but thrilling experience everyone should try.

My husband and I were super disappointed to pull up and see that Paisano's was no longer in this location (we liked to stop in whenever passing through the area on the road for their pizza and amazing salad bar), but decided to give Bad Axe Brews a try since we were there...

We sure were happy we did! The remodel looks nice and everything is clean. The axe throwing stalls are right there near the dining area but surprisingly quiet. We tried the Wild Garlic pizza and it was delicious (the crust a good balance of crispy and soft/chewy-in-a-good-way).

But what was extra appreciated was the wonderful service! We had a fabulous experience and will most definitely be back when passing through again.

Was a really fun experience. The pizza lunch special was delicious. It included a personal sized pizza, 1 trip to the salad bar which has a wide assortment and variety, and a drink. Everything was fresh, pizza was yummy and hot. Great fun and very helpful and friendly service. We will definitely be back!

Booked my family an hour of axe throwing for Father's Day 2023. Could not be happier. Helpful staff getting us set up in the lanes, making sure we knew the best tips and tricks to get the axe to stick (we were all newbies). Everyone had a blast, and the food was delicious to boot! Best pizza I've had in the Motherlode area, if I may be so bold.

TL;DR - Great food and drinks, amazing and quick service, and a unique experience right here in Jackson. We will be coming again!

We spent a night in Jackson on our way through to Yosemite and found Bad Axe Brews on Google maps. It was the perfect place to stop after a long day on motorcycles. The owner was awesome and gave us some great beer recommendations. We got pizza and a burger and both were delicious. Highly recommend stopping here if you’re in town.
