IHOP

It was great the waitress was very respectful and polite. Loved her positive energy very welcoming. The food was fresh and hot how we love it.

I mean... Who doesn't love pancakes right? .... good service but I must mention I always stop by on week days. No idea how busy it gets on weekends.

We waited a little long for our food but it was worth it.

I have to say that I walked in and immediately could tell that the acting manager Gary was amazing! While no one else was inside his can do spirit, amazing smile and just overall energy really made me feel better about my day!

I haven't been back to this location in years due to bad service. But on 3/11 around 5pm, I had excellent service from a young lady(can't remember her name so put date & time), the food came out quick correctly and it was delicious. She was very responsive and attentive to my family. All around good experience.

I've been to this location for breakfast a couple of times and really enjoy the atmosphere- usually has good music playing and great staff!

My review is strictly based on my experiences while delivering for Door Dash, as I have never had the chance to visit this location as a diner. Also, I apologize for how long this ended up being, but I rarely leave reviews, so when I do it is because I actually have a lot to say.

That being said, I have to be honest here and say that in the past, my visits to this particular IHOP have been not so great. I know about the problems with being short-staffed and I do feel for them on that issue. But, even taking into account their staffing issues, the quality of service (when someone was actually present that is) and wait time was painful. And this is coming from a person who possesses an abnormally high level of patience. So for me to actually lose my patience here says something about their customer service.

As a result, I had been steadily declining all IHOP offers coming through. But yesterday it was slow, and the offer was good, so I went ahead and accepted an IHOP order with low expectations and wondering how long the wait would be this time.

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in the door and got a warm welcome from the young man and young lady that were working front of the house. I wish I knew their names because they deserve to be known for how great they are. Friendly, smiling, and so quick to get me my order I just couldn't believe it! The woman was so polite and positive, engaging with me in small talk that was actually interesting. The guy brought me my order quickly, it was packaged nicely, and balanced out perfectly. They gave a friendly farewell and even reminded me to stay safe out there which was such a considerate thing to add.

As soon as I was pulling out of my parking space, the customer asks me to please request several extras for their meal. I hate when I see requests like that because that is not something I would personally do for myself for my own meals, so to do it for someone else who isn't even tipping me is so cringe, and I start brainstorming on how to get myself out of this situation.

But my empathy and integrity always win in the end, so I park and walk in the door with my head down. She kind of tilted her head in confusion probably wondering what could have possibly gone wrong in the short time between then and now, so I immediately explained the customer's request and started becoming apologetic for asking. She smiled and said no problem at all, she came back quickly with a small brown paper bag folded at the top and said she smiled saying she added some love to it as well. I was beyond impressed and told her God Bless her for such a kind gesture and thanked her again.

Whomever hired both those kind employees were so on-point, and I hope this establishment realizes how rare it is to have such remarkable employees working in that particular service industry role. I will not hesitate taking the next IHOP order that comes my way, dare I say I actually look forward to it...lol.

Thank you for your time and I hope this inspires others to do something different and give a second chance as well.

Me and my husband came in to dine the entrance and entire store was very clean!! Our waiter Deshunna was very sweet she was very respectful took our order and our food was out in 5 minutes HOTT and fresh and the manager stop what she was doing and went out her way to fix my grits I thought that was so nice of her this my first time at this location and I’ll definitely be back they get 5 stars from us!!

The waitress (Brianna) was very helpful and polite.

We had a great experience, we were attended promptly, there was a short wait, the waitress was really friendly and there was bus boys clearing the tables quickly. All the waitresses were friendly and looked happy to be serving us. Our food was good and came out within 20 minutes of being seated.

Deborah at the Desoto I-Hop, was an excellent server she pointed out our first order was burnt and insisting on getting us new orders of steak tips and eggs. Great service and great sweet tea. Veteran discounts also offered in this tough ecomony.

I Had Charlotte As My Waitress & She Was Amazing. I Loved How Polite She Was & Asked Us If We Needed & Anything. And Her Check Status Was Great As Well. She Didn't Wait 30-45 Mins. To Check On Us Or Have Us Waiting. I Loved Her Service. I Hope That $10 Tip Helps Her Out Because She Deserved It.

The last two times I've been here they have been extremely busy and extremely understaffed. I'm giving five stars for the all out effort of the people that were working. Took a while to get seated but once we were the food came out just right and on time. Good work guys/gals/ya'll.

I'm updating my review. I haven't been here in 4 years. Today is January 13, 2024 it's 11pm and today the service was great. Food was cooked to perfection. Everyone was kind and welcoming I was actually impressed.

Good food just slow

Visited this IHOP around 8:30 pm @ 9/17/19 and they had a party of 5 being served. I had read the poor reviews given to this place, but I have admit that the food was great, the waitress was great and the cook stepped out to greet me. I've had my share of bad food and service but that's not what I experienced on this day. I truly believe that a good attitude is a two way street. IHOP employees maybe there to serve, but the customer isn't always right. I should know, I've been both a server and customer.
