If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Every aspect of our new home build was PERFECT. Sean, Bobby, and Nelson were so responsive the entire time. They built the house of our dreams. I know without a doubt, SWH was an answered prayer. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤

Sean, Leila, Nelson and Bobby were extremely helpful thorough the whole house build process. Can’t say enough good things about the Canton Southwest Homes team. I really appreciate everything they did to help us build our first home. I highly recommend contacting them if you’re interested in getting your house built.

We just closed on our home today. We would absolutely recommend Southwest Homes to anyone who is in the market to build a new home. I was terrified at the beginning but Sean was awesome. He was very informative and knowledgeable throughout the process. The entire team were kind, compassionate, and professional with exceptional communication!

They built our house, and did a great job. Even with us changing our plans multiple times. Easy to work with, very professional. They handled everything from start to finish, including financing. Give them a call, you’ll be glad you did.

Ok so me and my family have never really put much of a thought of building a custom home let alone buying a second. However Southwest Homes Makes even your unexpressed wishes and dreams come true. We purchase a lot back in Oct 2022 and got straight to work with finding a home builder. We talk to a lot of companies but Southwest was the only one that made us feel like family from the get go, and didn't try to sell us a cookie cutter home. In fact Sean pushed for us to customize it the way we could see it. (me being a chef I wanted an amazing kitchen) and a place family to get together. Fast forward a couple of month, we have had our fair share (and currently going thru right now) of trials, BUT you know who has been by our side making sure that our DREAM can still come true!!! South West Homes, My family and I can't express how crucial their role has been, to making this happen, from Sean, Leila, Bobby and Nelson, everyone has given us exceptional services. Even in times of a Oh Oh moment, they have work with us. Even when the problem was not of their own making and could have hindered the project in a timely matter they pushed to find a way and did other project till time we could continue. Our home is by far more beautiful then my wife and I could have imagined and look forward to when it will be complete. This is not with out logical bias opinion, as we are all human Southwest does make errors, however they do own up to them and we sit down to correct the said errors. Which makes us love them more and more. (If you need to know, my wife and I kept added to home of our choice making it bigger and bigger and we never added more funds into our allowance for the pad). Thus costing more but not leaving room for more. However they worked with us to correct the said error and we were still allowed to continue the build. To highlight the triumphs in the process, we as a family were left to fend for our selves from a developers that promise the world, i.e. water/electric access to septic contacts (however none of this has happen), and guess who stepped in to help guide my wife and I in all these prior/first mini project of building a home that no ever talks about, Southwest homes!! From contacting drawing up plans for septic systems, to electric back up plans, to just being able to work till the utilities get put out there. Southwest has made building a home enjoyable, and fun. Me and my family drive out every weekend 1.5hrs away jsut to park and stare at our build for 15 minutes. Just in a ahhhhhhhh moment. I have my blueprints and elevation/facade diagrams over my desk because I still can't believe it. THANK YOU SOUTHWEST HOMES!!! Let us all be honest with one another, building a home, ANY home is not cheap or quick and if it is sold to you as such look else where. With South west home they stay with you till the job is done, we have the benefit to not be in a any rush or time line. However I wouldn't do it any other way, they are detailed, professional and service driven with a "you are family" philosophy attitude. I plan on building another 2 homes in my life time if not more and if they are available in the area, you can bet your bottom dollar I will be using Southwest homes.

We LOVE our new home ! Southwest Homes made the entire process easy for us from start to end. They were flexible with upfront modifications and most importantly, very clear on price difference. They work with lenders that can conditionally pre approve you (very quickly ) and let the construction planning begin. My family and I have been looking to build a home on our land for quite some time now. Given that this is no easy feat, we wanted to make sure that the builders were a good match. When we gave SW Homes a call, miss Teresa Allen gleefully and promptly answered all the questions we had, and went as far as to give us answers to questions we didn’t know we had! I am not one to usually write reviews, but the company’s professionalism as well as Miss Allen’s made the choice of building our home with them that much easier. 10/10 would recommend

My husband and I are in the process of building a Southwest Home. The experience we have had has been phenomenal. I cant say enough good things about Frank, Teresa, and Leela. They are all AMAZING and so easy to work with. They have given us direction and helped us so much with this process. They answer any question we have and have guided us every step of the way. They always make us feel welcome and right at home when we are at the office in Canton. Even though this process started a couple months back, we feel like we have known Frank, Teresa, and Leela forever. They make sure to have a personal relationship with their clients. If you and your family have a plot of land on which to build and are looking for a builder, who is willing to help you build a home unique to your family.... then choose Southwest Homes on I-20 Wills Point ,Texas 75169. Project Manager, Frank Williams, the Project Secretary and Sales Person are a great bunch of people to work with. They were willing to make changes to the floor plan we chose and the lines of communication were always open. On occasion it was necessary to schedule a face to face to work on issues, however for the most part we were able to resolve most everything via the phone. I have only encountered a couple of warranty issues since moving into our home in the late summer and those have been dealt with in a very timely manner as well.

Enjoyed working with Tereasa Allen very professional. I enjoyed designing my own kitchen and home to my needs and wants. Love the home and the beauty and quality of the home. All office staff was amazing to work with and listen and answered questions along the way. Joe and Kristie Limberger

What an absolutely amazing experience building our first home! Teresa Allen is the person to go see at Southwest Homes of Canton. She listened to our wants and needs for our growing family and boy did she deliver! We got everything we could have ever asked for and then some at a great price. If you have any reservations about the home building process, go see Teresa and she will put your mind at ease. I would give 10 stars if I could!

When my husband and I decided to have a house built on our land, we looked at several builders before deciding on Southwest Homes. There were some things that were offered as upgrades with other builders that are standard with Southwest Homes like granite countertops. They were also very competitive in the cost of the home.

From the beginning we liked the way things were handled. Stan Ward the Sales Manager is very personable and easy to work with. He helped us with the fun part –selecting the brick, paint, flooring, cabinet stains and granite, etc. He also completed the upfront paperwork.

Frank Williams, the Construction Manager, oversaw construction of our home. He was in contact with us at least weekly, usually more often. We were living on the property at the time it was being built, and would always let us know about the scheduling, and who would be coming. If there was something that didn’t seem quite right or if we just had a question, we were always able to reach him. Our concerns were addressed right away.

Leila Warman is the Production Coordinator in the office. She is able to keep both these guys going and the office running smoothly.

The road to our new home did have a few bumps along the way, but the bottom line is I’m very happy with our home, and with the service we received before, during and after closing. If we ever have another home built, I will definitely contact Southwest Homes.

My husband and I have been looking into building for a few years now but have never found a real estate agent that we liked and trusted until we came across Teresa Allen here in Canton. Our first time meeting her, she made us feel like we had known her forever. She showed us a few different options we could choose from and instantly found our dream home! I am so glad we were so picky about who we chose to use because everything about our new home is absolutely everything we ever imagined and more!

We walked into Southwest Homes and Teresa Allen, the sales person greeted us with open arms. We reviewed all the homes that would be in our price range, and after having to make some changes, we finally made a decision on a home. The whole SWHomes Staff has been excellent. Leila Warman, the production manager has worked hard to get everything in order for the construction closing. Frank Williams, the construction manager has offered his expertise advise. They have made several Saturday visits with us to get everything we wanted down to colors, flooring, and cabinetry. We look forward to working with all of them during the construction process which is to begin in a few weeks.

Southwest Homes is hands down the best company I have dealt with when it comes to homebuilders. I have dealt with three different homebuilder companies including SW Homes and none of the others compared to the amazing customer service I received with this company. The employees are very professional and genuinely care about your satisfaction with the creation your new home. Southwest Homes streamlines the process and makes it extremely easy for the customer, which helps eliminate a lot of headaches that go into building your home! Whether this is your first time building a home or 5th, I highly recommend this amazing company. Not only is the customer service amazing but the homes they construct are absolutely beautiful!

We just began the process and wanted to start my review from the beginning. Stan Ward is our sales manager. (funny guy) He is on top of the process. He is very helpful and knowledgeable...guiding us in this new journey. We just met with Frank William's, the construction manager. He is eager and excited to assist us. He has already taken time away from the office (on a Saturday morning)to come and look at the property with us & offer reassurance. I can't forget Leila Warman, the project coordinator. She keeps the guys in line. (or trys to *ha) She is very polite...making sure we are comfortable and hydrated at every visit. She keeps track of our emails and makes sure our documents get where they need to be. Very pleased thus far with this team.

I definitely recommend SouthWest Homes if you are looking for a build on your own lot builder. They're extremely knowledgeable on the entire construction process and are easy to work with. If we ever need to upgrade in size we will be using Southwest again.
