While exploring Bywater, go to Clouet Gardens for a break with nature. There's a large grass open space with local art, a Little Free Library, tables, and more. It's very peaceful.

I just happened upon the Clouet Gardens and my first impression was Wow. This is a really nice area, shady, tranquil and very nicely done. To have such a special spot in a neighborhood is really great. I was there on a Monday and was the only one there. The grounds are well maintained with ample seating and lots of things to see. Great job!

This place was so special. A little slice of heaven on a beautiful, 70⁰ and sunny day in the Bywater. So inviting, lots of art and flowers and places to sit and relax and enjoy the little things New Orleans has to offer us.

10/10

So beautiful on a spring day! I just can't get over it! Perfect little neighborhood hideaway. Thank you to all those who care for it!

I love Bywater, anytime you take a walk, you are greeted with something new to see. It is so peaceful . This garden is a great place to sit and just reflect. Don't leave without speaking on the windphone;) There is a little free library where you can even grab a book while you sit.

We had a great tree planting ceremony there. I never knew this place existed.

This garden has a very natural beauty about it and one of the largest Live Oaks I've ever seen. I would take my dog here late at night to let him run around. However, the last time we were there some girl had set up a tent and had a dog that was barking and growling at mine. I'm still giving it 5 stars and hoping it doesn't turn into a hobo hangout. If it does I'll edit my review.

Cute neighborhood park thats a little tucked away but the locals do all sorts of community things here. Theres a fruit tree, old concrete chess tables, and sometimes you can get snoballs. I was so happy when a friend and I went there because i didnt know there was snoballs. Made my day.

This fine neighborhood park has evolved from an empty meadow lot, to a magical and intimate open space for all. I've watched this transform over the years, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Come visit with friends and family, bring wine and cheese, and sink into this cozy nook.

This is by far one of my most favorite parks in NOLA. Its nestles between an old wardhouse and locals backyard. Has nice green grass and lots if green plants that run throughout the entire boarder with little places to sit and read or chat with some friends. And its nice to watch the dogs play and interact with each other as the dog parents are aloud to let them run without a leash You dont have to worry about stepping in dog poop as everyone picks up after their dogs with convenient doggy poop removal bags located within the park. Go see and dont forget to bring your doggie!

Hip little urban park maintained by the neighborhood. Relaxing place to retreat to during weekdays, with everything from weddings to kids B-day parties on weekends.

So, listen I wanted to give this space a three. But when I thought about it It's kinda all it could ever be and that's green space. There are no frills to it and I should not have expected frills. It's just a big rectangular gated yard. I was there for a Book fair.

Cute little park on a reclaimed lot. Great spot to see if you are in the neighborhood or live nearby. The phone booth and book share are cute additions.

Love this citizen-run park! I take out-of-town friends here to showcase the resilience and engagement that permeates our community. I highly recommend grabbing a poboy from Frady's and eating it in Clouet Gardens.

Lovely bywater neighborhood park and recreation area. There were a few kids. They were practicing music in the park last night strings and such

Is this where Union Army General Trobriand (born in France) cultivated his garden in the late 1800s after he retired? His address on historical documents is listed as 726 Clouet Street.
