Bantam Chef

It is almost the same price as fast food and way better quality. The burgers are great, and the fries are perfect to dip in your milk shake (which I highly recommend)! The chocolate peanut butter milkshake was AMAZING! A childhood favorite for me has now become one of my kids' favorites, too!

I live in Columbia but im in the area for work. I’m not a burger person at all but I ordered a double cheeseburger with onion rings just to give it a shot. All the food was amazing and compared to where I live it wasn’t expensive at all. God bless grandma in the back making it all happen

Food is cooked to order. I had teriyaki wings with fries. Also ordered an side of onion rings. They are homemade and very delicious!! Hubs had lemon pepper wings with fries. He invited a stranger to sit at the outside table while waiting for his food. Ended up with a new friend. Next time we will try out their ice cream & something else that is tasty! Give them a try!! Tried the ice cream today. I love their sift serve cones & banana splits!!!!!

They have redeemed themselves. The monster burger tastes as good as ever, but the onion rings are really good, homemade, red onion, lightly breaded, and delicious. Then, they are making the best fried mushrooms also. I hate I ever found out about how good they are because now I want to get them all the time. Sweetest, friendliest staff always extra nice and helpful. A little pricey, but with food cost the way they are, I ain't even mad because it's worth it.
PS. The Ranch is homemade, too.

I love the Bantam Chef. Been coming here for as long as I can remember. Yes it's different now, but its still really good! Best place in Chester, SC for a burger! The staff are super sweet and friendly and usually don't wait long at all. I can call my order in if I'm in a hurry. Love love ♥

The old Bantam Chef you know but reinvented. You can get a good old fashioned Monster Burger🍔 it comes with everything but slaw on it. You can get hot dogs🌭, corn dogs or corndog nuggets, cheese burgers, hand battered or grilled chicken sandwich, bologna sandwich, or a grilled cheese, fried flounder or fried shrimp plate and dont forget the wings🍗 that come in many flavors and grilled or fried chicken chef salads🥗The side are great too they have fries, tator tots, hand battered onion rings, fried okra, fried mushrooms, fried pickles, and hush puppies.
Don't forget desert: hot fudge cake, strawberry short cake, milkshakes of many flavors🍊🍌🍍🍒🍓🥥, sundaes, and vanilla, chocolate, or mixed ice-cream cups or cones🍦This is a family restaurant and it's all made with love... Go check them out you won't regret it...

The Bantam Chef has a unique taste and is a very courteous family owned business. Its associates set it apart. I usually just go through the drive-thru. You pay on one side and pick your food up on the other side. Sometimes, they have your food already prepared. Especially if you call your order in early enough before going to the restaurant. Then, you can get your meal on the side you pay. Bantam Chef is the best. I really enjoy the delicious food here.

Yesterday was my 1st time here and they was so good I came back today. Have me a new place to eat. Thank you so much Bantam Chef!! Y'all are so awesome!! I also like how they still keep the safety for them and their customers. Wear your 😷

Called in our burger order, when we arrived to pay the gal at the counter was very friendly and sweet. The burgers were fresh, hot and tasty.

The hot dogs at the Bantam Chef are the best in the world. I have not visited my home town in 20 years and the first thing I wanted when I arrived was a Bantam Chef hot dog. I was happy to see one good thing remaining in the town. If you are driving through Chester be sure to stop by the Bantam Chef you won't be sorry

Reminds me of the one in Fort Mill that closed over 30 years ago. A blast from the past, met the owner today, Mrs. Poag seems to be a wonderful person. Look forward to returning in the not to distant future. Nothing fancy just good food with excellent service.

You have to remember this isn't a fast food place. It might take a few minutes to get your order or to place it but the food is worth the wait. The staff are friendly and over all great place to eat.

Everything is made fresh by saying fresh I mean I ordered chicken strips and I watched as they took a chicken breast and sliced it and rolled it and cooked it!!!! So awesome 👌

The Bantam Chef ... a renewed experience, good one at that. The last time I was there was some 30 or so years ago. Stopped by yesterday and the burgers are delicious as I remember.

The food was good and I loved their social distance policy. Makes me feel like they care about our health.
