Wilbarger Humane Society

The Wilbarger Humane Society is an absolutely wonderful place!!! The wonderful ladies who work here care so much about these animals! They make sure each animal is up to date and they have a very detailed and thorough adoption program to make sure the animals go to good homes.

It is a very clean and well maintained operation and from the moment you walk in you feel welcomed. Suzie and Jennifer are very sweet ladies who want the best for these animals. They are very helpful for any questions or concerns you might have regarding your pets.

If you are looking to adopt a dog or cat look no further, they have some really wonderful animals that are so sweet and loving. They make sure the animals have regular, positive human interaction so the adoption process will go as smoothly as possible for the animal!

If you are ever curious about them just give them a call or stop by, they are always welcome and will be glad to help!

I have taken my dog there every year I'm able to get her shots for rabies, distemper and parvo. They don't charge too much. I pay a total of $35 for the shots and $5 more if I want her to get flea dipped!!!! I've had her for 9 years now and so far she hasn't had a bad reaction or gotten rabies or anything!!!! Thank God!!!! And the ladies there are very kind and patient!!!!

This humane society is wonderful! I found my dog on their website via the petfinder link! I came from Florida to adopt my dog so I had to make a few phone calls with the facility to plan my trip out to adopt my new baby! The staff was so sweet & helpful & they took great care of my baby before I adopted her & took her with me to her forever home! I was so impressed with this humane society & how much they love the animals they take care of <3

SuziQ is the sweetest dog. She has made my life fun exciting and joyful. Watching her run and play with her toys is so funny. She's made my life complete.

On Tuesday were going to adopt a dog. But so far the staff has been really nice. The dog areas are clean unlike a lot of places i have been. Another thing i like is that they are a no kill shelter.

Susie is always very polite. There was so many people there but, between Susie and the ladies from P.E.T.S. it went smooth as silk

Found this little girl outside and after a little bit of research I knew I had to do something for her. Took her in and they were able to set up arrangements to get her to a rescue facility. The workers her are great and ill miss this little girl.

The board members, employees and volunteers, of the Wilbarger Humane, are top notch. Their top priority is the care and welfare of the animals, not only while those animals are in their care, but even during and after the process of finding forever homes for these fur babies.

Adopt from the shelter......don't shop for your next pet!!

I always love visiting here. The staff are great & will help you anyway possible to locate the dog you would love to adopt!!! If nothing else, go visit the animals!!!!

Brought my dog Chico to get fixed Wednesday... They took such WONDERFUL care of him... Will definitely be back...

They do good work here. They try hard to care for every animal and find them new homes. I applaud them.

I love this place. This is where I got my fur baby Ajax. The ladies were always so nice when I would go in to look at the dogs. 😁

We adopted a puppy 🐶 from here recently and loved our interaction with the staff. They are fair and reasonable with adoptions.

The people were so loving with all the animals and their parents. One lady was really rude but the lady manning the desk was so proffesional and kind to the lady.

We were able to adopt an Australian Shepherd. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.

Jennifer is a amazing person!! Her understanding and empathetic personality are beyond words appreciated!!!
