I love Mala.

This is one of the only places in Worcester where you can order Mala dishes. We got the dry beef hot pot and the Mala pot without fish. Both had very nice spice, I could honestly handle more spicy but my fiancé would probably faint from it. The dry pot was more on the sweeter side, but it still tastes good. Together, the food cost about $50 dollars for both of us, without tip--however, we had two trays worth of leftovers to bring home!

The service was sufficient. The staff were friendly, polite, attentive, and sent our food out in a timely manner.

The ambiance is very straightforward. It's not just a quick pickup spot where you can pick up the greasy, fried Chinese food, but it's an actual place you can sit down and taste some authentic Chinese dishes. The decor is not the best, but it's very comfortable and casual.

We would definitely return with our friends!

the food was excellent, the service was very good and quick. gladly recommend the dan dan noodles, fried chicken with dry chilli and the eggplant.

Beautiful place, wonderful foods.
Real authentic Sichuan cuisine.
It might be too strong flavour or spicy for American, but really good.
We got cold sliced beef tendon, spicy and sour beef noodle soup, fried shrimp with walnut in mayo, and fried chicken with Chilli.
And I'm pretty sure other foods should be wonderful.
I'm so glad to find this restaurant.

Highly recommend Red Pepper especially for good Sichuan food, this is a step up above your typical American Chinese fast food restaurant. One of my favorite restaurants in Worcester and go at least every other month.
If you like spice this is the place. I would reserve to get any fried dish like their amazing "L01 Deep fried chicken" for dine in only as they do loose their crisp if doing takeout.

Some of my favorite dishes so far:
- L7 Cumin lamb, L1 fried chicken, E7 shredded beef, J14 Hot beef noodle soup
- L14 mala pot (lots of seafood and good for several people)
Their spicy wontons are also incredible and quite spicy.

GREAT flavors. I usually am underwhelmed by spicy food, but at Red Pepper the spicy food is perfectly hot. Veggies were crisp, chicken melted in your mouth. I ordered the tofu with dried peppers and I think it was the best tofu I’ve ever had. Crab rangoon are hard to beat. Red Pepper serves excellent Chinese and big portions for the price.

Best Chongqing chicken Laziji and I'm willing to drive 40 miles one way for having it again!

Phenomenal. We had: house lo mein, duck, general tsos shrimp, orange chicken, lamb hot pot, ants climb a tree, a fried chicken dish (pictured on front of menu), a fish dish, goat... We were at a large table with lazy Susan and everyone shared. It was all amazing.

Amazing! Lovely service. Guys working there were SO nice. Seem like hard workers. I went when it was packed and you can see them hustling and moving. The food was amazing. I haven’t had good mapo tofu in a while and I found some really good mapo tofu here. I highly recommend. My boyfriend who is picky loves all the food here too. Would come back 100%. Lovely lovely family restaurant.

Very tasty food and authentic. We got the beef with fried tofu and hot pot and spare ribs with garlic also an order of house fried rice. Everything was delicious and came out fast.

We had green pepper fish and vegetables for lunch today, all the dishes are delicious and the staff are friendly. Strongly recommend for you to have a taste!

Very authentic Sichuan cuisine. My friend and I enjoyed the lunch very much. Both Dry-Braised Lamb with Spicy Sauce in Hot Pot and the vegetable dish (see pictures) tasted delicious. I'll definitely come back and try other dishes.

Great spicy 🌶 food! If you like Sichuan style cooking with peppercorn, this is the restaurant for you. Red pepper uses lots of chili pepper and peppercorn pepper in their dishes, making it very additive. Unlike Cantonese style cooking, Sichuan cooking is less fried more poached, less oil and more spicy 🌶! This restaurant is a New gemstone 💎 of worcester! You will find service here delightful and speedy! If you would like to have a large party celebration, they have a separate section to host a large event like a family reunion or birthday party.

Always amazing food--especially Szechwan. The spicy wontons, dry fried string beans, fried beef with chile, and boneless spare ribs are musts! Service is excellent, and the prices are unbelievably low for the amount you get.

Been looking for some good sichuanese food ever since we moved to Worcester. We found it here. The food is amazing.

The food is top notch. If you're looking for real authenticity, look no further. Watch out for the spices though

Best Chinese food I've ever had in my life. Food actually made me want to use chopsticks properly. I knew we were in a good place because of all the Asian patrons around us-couples, groups of students, young people. Amazing. Will definitely be back.

Just had a meal at Red Pepper, and wow, the food is so tasty! The lamb was tender and juicy, the whoito was full of flavor, and the fried rice was a delightful surprise. If you’re in Worcester, definitely give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed!
