Absolutely the BEST Mexican food on the planet. The owner is so passionate about the quality of his restaurant. He is amazing and our server Anita was an absolute sweetheart. She made us feel like we were family with her fun and positive attitude.

We have been customers for 30 years and will continue to be for many years to come. We actually drove 350 miles to get our LA Frontera fix.

I’ve been coming to this same location since I was little and have always loved the food! I no longer live in Utah, but try to visit my favorite Mexican restaurant every time I come back to my home state. My dinner this particular night was exceptional. The food was right on point and the service, directly from the owner, was outstanding. We had a large party of 12 and came in an hour before closing. They didn't bat an eye at seating us and getting our food out as fast as possible!

My husband and I come here every week for their Monday special. We've come to know the workers by name. They are super helpful and have great senses of humor. But the food is excellent and fast. We've always enjoyed any different items we've ordered. And I love the decor that makes it look like you're in an outdoor villa, but are still inside and out of the elements.

Jeremy was polite. Prompt and attentive. The place is good. The flour enchiladas with cheese were very good and the cheese was melted all the way through. I enjoyed this little joint.

I grew up in SLC. Now live in Northern California. I come visit Utah usually twice a year for 3-4 days. I honestly eat 3 Smothered Burritos with cheese at least twice or even everyday while I'm there. La Frontera is Awesome!! The smothered burritos are epic, the chips and salsa are great to. I swear even the Dr. Pepper tastes better there. I think the 3500 So. Bangerter location is the ABSOLUTE BEST!! Also 3300 So 1300 E is definitely delicious too.

Not a single negative thing to say about this place. Very personable and a homey atmosphere that envelopes you in the culture and authentic flavors served to you. Highly recommended, simply the best to me and my family. Thank you! I get the large combination with smothered burrito and cheese and onions added. You won't be disappointed. Chile rellenos and huevos rancheros are a must too.

How can this place get only 3.9 stars? The portions are massive for an excellent $12 meal? The owner must be doing this as a labor of love. I got the Chicken Enchilada meal and the tortillas tasted fresh, the tea was good and the salad was crisp. The owner served me and was friendly.

Best Mexican food ever! Please make a location in Saratoga spring, I bet it would be so popular here, in my opinion it’s the best Mexican food in Utah!

Oh my gosh they have amazing food. And our server was amazing!! He was so fast and so kind.

As ALWAYS my smothered burritos with rice and beans was on point. Our waiter was fantastic and we had an excellent time dinning in as we always do we loved our chips and salsa one of my favorite places to eat!

One of the best restaurants out there, hands down- I've been coming here since I was a toddler, and it's one of the few reasons I ever visit Utah now that I don't live there. The food is delicious, the staff is amazing, I definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys good food that won't break the bank!

Haven't eaten at this location in awhile. My car broke down and I had to leave it in the parking lot. They didn't tow it and it didn't get broken into. All in all, good experience!

I love this place and have been going here since I was 16 years old and I’m 23 now, best smothered burritos and their ribs are pretty damn good too.

As always their food was very good. The waiter was very attentive and made great recommendations. Love this convenient location.
