Brenz Pizza Co New Albany

The food was amazing and fresh, wasn’t many people there but we made the most of it and enjoyed it very much! I got the Bianca Rosa and a chocolate chip cookie and both were warm and delicious.

Brenz Pizza 🍕 has become my son and I new pizza favorite spot. Definitely get their breadsticks and marinara sauce, which are absolutely the best breadsticks and marinara sauce in C-Bus, IMO.

I typically order build your own pizza with half pepperoni and half sausage & meatballs 🍕 which is absolutely delicious 😋😋

Out cruising today and decided to check Brenz Pizza in New Albany out. Ordered a small Pepperoni Pizza. They opened last November. Talked with Adam about the operation. He said that dough is made fresh daily. All vegetables are brought in fresh from their suppliers, no frozen vegetables. They’re cut up once they are in the store. On to the pizza. It was cooked perfectly for me, slight crispy to the crust. The sauce had the slightest spicy taste to it which was perfect. Nice mild cheese and the pepperoni was a nice addition cup and char type. Might be Ezzo’s, not sure. Good experience, will definitely return. Everyone needs to check them out.

Brenz Pizza is the best pizza place in OHIO. I have tried many pizza places but this pizza is good to the heart and soul! I tried the pepperoni pizza and the rustic pizza and the wings. Which were all phenomenal. The staff and overall service was amazing. If you are looking for a new pizza place to try.

2 visits since they just opened. A minor hiccup on our first order, that they were very eager to correct. A big kudos to the team for their ears and actions on the circumstances.
It's a small counter front business with some small high top tables by the windows. So far I've only seen patrons sitting there waiting for their orders. I expect they will get more use when a lunchtime audience is grown. No booze on site, and I didn't see any taps or coolers awaiting permits. I would say it's going to be dry. Plenty of parking out front in the private lighted parking lot with handicap parking right up front. Bright lighting with subtitle decor to not overload you with cobweb catchers above your food. Staff is friendly and learning the ropes(Nov 2022).
When trying a new pizza, I have to go to the benchmark Pep & cheese. Crust is a 3 day rise of the hand tossed thickness. To get my desired thin crust, I merely had to request a medium rolled out to large. I just put it in the comments on the website. There is a comment box for each item you order. The crust was evenly cooked with the markings of a deck oven, instead of a conveyor. The pepperoni had that slight char on the edge as is cupped, and reached up. I was happy with the sauce as there was not that pucker of sugary sweetness so many Ohio spots serve. Not bland, but with flavor that I have not yet identified. The cheese had a nice gooey stretch without that rubbery snap-back of imitation cheese. Square cut as I like it, yet my wife wishes there were more cuts.

Wings were average as expected. Tried the garlic Parmesan and the spicy. Not the flavors we will look forward to ordering again for ourselves. Traditional wings without breading. Size varies by food costs I'm sure.

Dessert was the CinnaBrenz. A sweet dough cut into large bites, with a brush of cinnamon butter I believe. A side of icing is included for dunking or drizzling.

Today was my first day at a Brenz Pizza Co. I got the chicken bacon ranch. This is definitely my absolute favorite pizza! Godfathers in Chillicothe back in the early 2000s, Cristy's Pizza in Chillicothe now, both amazing and loved them both! But those taste like Pizza Hut Little Caesars comparatively speaking! and any bigger chain of pizza shops like Donatos or any others, they obviously don't compare to Brenz Pizza Co. If those 2 classics don't.
I cannot believe I've never heard of this place until driving around looking for places to eat. Such a nice staff! Such a clean and uncluttered environment! No 50 flyers and adds all over the place, no gimmicky characters. And let me tell you right now! If you like cookies, you cannot leave without one! I had the chocolate chip and it was so huge and cooked to absolute perfection! That chocolate was so sweet! I also loved their salad, I just had the simple house salad and it looked and tasted fresher that any salad I've gotten at a restaurant let alone a pizza shop! I could go on and on but I'll just end it here by saying... GO TRY IT!

Great and unique taste of flavor - than others

I customized with Pineapple 🍍 and Jalapeño on top of it - extremely soft base / crunchy

Plain wings were totally different from my prior experiences with Dominos/Buffalo Wild Wings

I would definitely recommend folks to try here and experience unique food taste with Pizza

Edit : Oct 1 — received a birthday free 12 inch pizza coupon to use, ordered veg out pizza and added wings to the order. Great atmosphere to visit and sit relax and have food 🥘 love the service by the person at reception - super easy to order and wait for 10-15 mins to get the order picked up

I love the Veg Out Pizza on the Cauliflower crust. The Cheesy Breadsticks are amazing and the dough is melt-in-your mouth. Also the best cookies I've ever tasted, still a little chewy in the middle - just perfect. The toppings are fresh and you don't feel like you're doing something bad for your health when you eat the pizza because everything tastes so real and wholesome!

We had delivered their white pizza and another mush and pepperoni combo and both were absolutely the best we've had in our neighborhood. We like thick crust, and the toppings were generous--to say the least! It's our No. #1 now.

It was convenient for when you’re craving pizza on the go! The service was very friendly and the inside is cool, although I ordered pickup. I got the two most popular pizzas and can see why everyone loves them!

I had heard about this place for quite sometime & finally made my way over. The price had me a bit cautious @ first but after my first bite I was sold. All the ingredients were fresh & it was well prepared 5 stars. I’ll slowly make my way through the menu if I can leave the Heritage Honey Pizza alone.

New favorite pizza place! This is a hard award to win, because I can only have gluten free pizza!

I had the Bianca Rossa + and my husband tried the Heritage Honey +. Both were fantastic. I loved the crust on the gluten free and it wasn’t paper thin which is so rare. The sausage and sauce on my pizza were excellent. Per the gluten eater: The cheesy breadsticks are very soft and could be enjoyed with or without the marinara (which was great too).

They are not the cheapest overall but you definitely get what you pay for here. Although, their gluten free pizza was well priced which is usually not the case.

Really good pizza. Friendly, prompt service. Reasonable prices. I will come back next time I’m in the area.

By and far one of the best veggie pizzas I've had in a very long time. Crust is thin and crispy and it was loaded w veggies.

Really nice place. The staff were really understanding, I was going to a party and I was early, so I hung out at the shop for about 20 minutes. They were cool with that!

Great service! We've ordered here for years, and while there are occasional errors, the staff always go out of their way to fix the issue. Not to mention the food is great!

Uniquely, fantastic pizza. Great tastes and fresh ingredients. The flavors they come up with keep customers coming back. Service was the only knock on this place. The employees do try hard and they may just be overwhelmed with the steady demand of this awesome place. Go get some pizza, wings, etc.!
