Cosmic Comix

I love this location (not just because it’s next to an amazing smoke shop). The customer service is always great and friendly. They tend to get my brother me mixed when we go in, so it’s always a fun visit. Their selection of new/older/retro books is pretty vast. If you’re looking for toys, board games, and action figures, they have a nice selection as well. This store also has a membership program that comes in handy. I’ve gotten quite a few discounts on my purchases.

This is a fantastic little comic book oasis. The selection is excellent for all ages, the staff is really knowledgeable about great books to read and what storylines are happening. For new customers, they even give away small selection of old and new comics for free. If you're in the area, don't miss this gem.

One of the cleanest and best organized comic stores I have ever step foot in. I live some 3 hours away and stopped in by chance waiting to pick up someone from the airport. I have since been back while traveling to DC. The owners are very friendly and helpful. At the time I was filling in common comics 2-4 years old. I found a bunch of well maintained back issues (with bags and boards) in their bargain bin on the cheap!

Staff is friendly and the store is well stocked. I went in there with no real direction in what I was looking for other than adding to my The Crow collection. The staff helped make that happen. Definitely worth checking out.

Google maps had me slightly confused so I called the store and super-friendly and helpful Andy helped me find this shop (Use the Papa John’s as your waypoint). So since I last visited this shop, they have moved locations. Although a very different layout this store still has an amazing selection of new and older comics. Andy was able to point me in the right direction to find what I was searching for. I also browsed a nice selection of discounted trades. So many wonderful books, supplies and tempting toys are all well organized and neatly displayed. Please spend some time gazing upwards as the ceiling is so beautifully decorated. I cannot recommend this place highly enough! Andy, Dave, and Rusty are all consummate professionals, both in regular customer service but also in knowledge of their products.

I just recently started getting into comics and came in to the store not really knowing what I wanted to get into. Dave took time to speak to me at length, shrewdly narrowing down to a few comic lines based on our conversation. And they are constantly recommending other things they think I'd like based on products I buy from them.

Furthermore, it feels like a real home place. Meaning, they remember your name very quickly, ask about the books you're reading, and take a genuine interest in you.

I've gone to quite a few comic shops in the Baltimore area at this point, and while selection size and type might vary from each, none have reached the personable level of friendliness, knowledge, and professionalism one will find at Cosmic Comix!

Great store! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff who are always helpful with a recommendation for a great read! Can’t say enough kind words. Been going there for over 15 years and would not go anywhere else for my comic books. Subscription service is super easy, no cost and convenient along with the rewards. Subscribers get discounts and periodic “empty box” rewards! Andy, David and Rusty make you feel like part of the family when you stop in - giant geek fest family that is into comics and stuff. Almost forgot the great selection of figures. Visit the store. You will be glad you did!

Nice little neighborhood shop, pretty well organized. Excellent selection of new comics and older books. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Missile testing next door was unique, but did not detract from the experience.

I've been a customer for 10 years. Dave, Andy and Rusty are the best. I love this place. They give their honest opinions about books and aren't there just to sell you something. They genuinely love comics and want you to enjoy what you buy. I've never had a bad experience. I'm a customer for life.

This place is awesome! Did not expect the inside to be as big as it was. Super well organized, great selection, and most importantly great prices.

Went in out of curiosity and the place is filled with awesome stuff besides the comics. The owners were really friendly and from the bit of the conversation I overheard about evil superman I can tell they're passionate about comics. Highly recommend it for big comic book fans.

Passed through here on my travels. Very well organized and although not a ton of back issues, I managed to find a few hard to find items I've been looking for. Good selection of trades and toys. Well staffed and I was well attended to while I was there. Probably the most fun and eye catching interior I've seen in a comic shop. The walls and ceiling are decorated with comic images and everything was well arranged. Recommended.

This is my favorite comic book shop! I can't say enough good things about it. Their prices are great, they always have fantastic sales, their selection of comics is one of the largest in the area, and they always seem to have a small but surprisingly varied selection of collectibles. Also, it always feels nice that they remember my name. Not too many places love their customers like that these days.

Although I was only a customer here for a short period of of time, I've had the pleasure of perusing comic book stores across the country in different areas that I've lived. They all pale in comparison to Cosmic and its amazing staff. Not only do they have a great collection of new and back issue comics and trades but also a wide array of memorabilia. I was always greated, by my first name no less, whenever I stepped foot into this amazing shop. I can't say enough about this store and it's staff. I'll end my review with this, you couldn't hate this place, even if it were the mad Titan himself trying to snap you out of existence.

Family owned business with knowledgeable staff on comics, collectables, and the occasional local sports event. Been comeing to this store for 20 years to but comics and back issues. Has a decent stock of back issues ranging from current to Silver Age. Ask and they can also get you specialty prints, check for out of stock issues, and, locate or direct you to where to obtain classic books from silver and golden age!
