Food Lion

I love going to this food lion. It’s clean and organized and staff there is friendly. I particularly like the deli, where you can get fresh meat cut, and how wide the aisles are.

Loved that the prices were reasonable and even though the pandemic still lingers, name brand items are available. Lots of lines are open with cashiers serving and there is available parking for customers.

It feels like the town, family place. I will certainly be shopping here.

Knauss creamed chipped beef is the BEST! Usually order out or buy Esskay? This is my new go to.

Ok, edit #3. For those of you following along, the sheet cake cup cakes have not shown back up again recently. We are back to 5 stars today!
Its Thanksgiving day and of course I had to run out and get last minute supplies for dinner.
Moderately busy but it looks like they actually overstaffed today. Plenty of check outside and boy did that make for friendly faces.

They have awesome food I love food lion they have good sales.

It was a clean store and the staff was very friendly. This was my first time at this location so my wife and I walked the aisles since every grocery store tends to carry hidden gems. The bakery section had a nice selection of pastries, cakes and pies. I found a single serving pecan pie, my favorite but not my family's, so that I did not waste a whole pie when I can't eat it all. They also had a nice selection of K-cups for your morning fix. Definitely going to be shopping there more in the future.

I placed an order for delivery and was very happy withv the ervice.

Prices are fair for the most part. All the employees are helpful even if they're busy. My only issue is that they don't sell lamb, which isn't really that big of a deal.

Go early in the day for the best selection, it gets a little low sometimes in the evenings.

The staff is amazing over a decade and they've always been good to me. Old man Stan has been moving carts and smoking cigars since my kids were babies. At nights There's also a dude named Chris with a beard he's the man he knows where everything is at in the store and is extremely friendly a true asset. 👍

I Was in the area, needed some groceries and found this Food Lion. This store is very clean organized made it easy to find what i was looking for and employees are friendly and helpful.

I give a five star to the young cashier man that checked me out. A big shot out they had shelves stocked up. However I will give a negative 5 star to management and certain staff employees not taking action to the man who brought another store plastic bag and filled it up with food. When it was brought to their attention no action was taken. I guess it wasn't their money that was stolen. Sad in one hand. The other hand is sad that people who are at need has to go to the extreme to enjoy a steak dinner.

I love this place. I would say it's like shopping at Giant (which I also love) but way better prices, always clean and good customer service. Only thing is as a woman of color I notice customers that aren't of color are sometimes rude. But the atmosphere that the employees create makes me feel better.

This Food Kion is one of the cleanest stores i have been in, very well lit and everyone there is very customer oriented. Great produce section, tons of variety.

A nice visit.

Food has a large selection of fresh fruit and vegetables every one that works there is pleasant. I just wish they had self check out.
Now they have curbside pickup place your order an employee gets your groceries together and they meet you outside at the Designated parking spots.

Alot of empty shelves. No wait in line. Friendly staff and bathroom.

Food lion is my go to local store. They are close and always have a good selection. One of the best things about the store is the aisles are nice and wide, do you won't be bumping into other shoppers. Nice friendly staff.

I refuse to go to Walmart’s here in Maryland. I don’t care how much money you have or make, nobody likes spending too much, especially on food. This food lion is right down the road from my house and it’s where I started shopping when I returned to the area from out of state. In the hundreds of times coming here I have always had a pleasant experience. Never too busy and the staff are friendly. Stock is always acceptable and prices are competitive. Of course you’re paying a little more for things but to avoid the zoo it’s worth it. Maybe one day we’ll get a Trader Joe’s but this is glen dirty so wishful thinking!
