Kulpa Dennis W

I first met Dr. Kulpa at 12-13 years old with generalized anxiety. Panic attacks consumed my early teen years and without Dennis’ help I am unsure I would have survived. It has been 20 years since then, and while my coping mechanisms have been a great tool to my adult life, and I have overcome a lot since then, I still would need the occasional visit. Most recently I have been seeing Dennis regularly since the unexpected death of my mother, and once again I am blow away by the comfort I experience being back in his office.
He is the most compassionate, kind, and honest therapist I could ask for; When I walked through those doors again, it was as though time never passed, and Dennis became my safe place again. My anxieties have resurfaced, and while it has seemed overwhelming at times, Dennis has always been a fantastic listener, and great guide to navigating my overwhelming thought-processes. Dennis is always patient as I retell the same thoughts and fears as I have for years, and I have never felt judged for any words I have ever said.
Through the years, every single person in my immediate family has spent time with Dennis, and we are all quite fond of the strength and confidence he has given us as a family unit, and individuals. I cannot imagine where I would be today, had Dennis not helped me find my minds balance.

We first met Dennis Kulpa about 7 years ago when it became clear that our family dynamic was off kilter for reasons which I won’t delve into in a public review. He has been extremely helpful to our family over the time we have been seeing him for counseling. His honesty, integrity, and grasp of psychology always give us tools we can use to improve our relationships and navigate various crises we have undergone during the time we have been seeing him in his professional capacity. I highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of professional counseling.

I have been seeing Dennis for about 15 years now and I couldn't imagine ever seeing someone else. He's basically been there for me through every milestone and obstacle in my life. He is an extremely good listener (he listens to all my crazy stories), and he's also very kind and supportive. I can honestly say he truly cares about helping all of his patients. Dennis never fails to provide the necessary guidance to get me through whatever battle I'm facing. I know I can always rely on a therapy session with him to help me feel better.

Dr. Kulpa is supportive, educated and genuine. He helped me overcome huge obstacles and achieve my goals. I highly recommend him.

Today I went to see Dennis Kulpa, excited to start therapy! He was very cold, after doing my intake, he only addressed one subject, then tells me he won’t be much help, says I need therapy, and he is proud of me for taking the steps. At the end of a pointless session, he says “so do you want to schedule another appointment or?” And then actually recommends I go elsewhere! I am not a difficult person, nor have I ever left a bad review on ANYTHING in my life! I took the steps ON MY OWN to seek therapy, and this experience would make a person not want to seek therapy again, especially a first timer, or an unstable person. Cold, not personable, not helpful, rude, everything a “therapist”, shouldn’t be.
