Don’t pass up on TJ’s BBQ food truck. He was so pleasant on our pass thru Vernon and the food beat any smoked meat from Dallas and at a reasonable price! I highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich and the corn casserole! The sausage was tasty as well.
You must stop by here on your next trip through Vernon 🤗

BBQ as it should be. Flavorful, moist and finger licking good. Brought the family here on our way back from Abilene and it did not disappoint. My wife was more than happy with the ribs too! The owner (I believe) was super friendly and had great recommendations.

Couldn't ask for more, TJ is a great guy and a serious grill master. Best price and service for a 3 meat plate in 2000 miles of driving around Texas looking for great BBQ. This is it!
Off the beaten path and its pretty hot to be sitting at the picnic table but I just can't rave enough how good. Brisket great bark, tender and flavourful. Same with the pulled pork. The corn pudding moist and flavourful) and Mac and cheese (very creamy) were wonderful compliment to the entire plate. Everything is quality, no corners cut. The smoked hot link was just perfect. Thank you sir your place is a treasure. I look forward to visiting again.

You may easily pass by this food truck, but Don't! The bbq was on point (we had the brisket and smoked sausage). No frills just simply delicious bbq, that doesn't require a bath in bbq sauce. If you're anywhere near Vernon stop and get you some grub.

Best bbq in vernon TX! If i lived an hour away id make the drive for it! TJ is a well seasoned pit master! Nothing on the menu will disappoint!

TJ helped me out tremendously when I called and asked for help getting a meal together for my family! I am in Nm and he got it all together and the family said the food was great and a lot of it at a great price!!!
