Take 5 Oil Change

Just experienced my first visit for an oil change and couldn't be happier! I was tired of Midas trying to sell me everything under the sun and was getting long overdue for an oil change. I saw Take 5 while driving down Hwy 7 and decided to give them a try. FAST, friendly and so pleasant! They even explained to me how long my oil should last (which no one has ever don't before. I just go by the sticker). I'm happy I found a new place for basic car service. Highly recommend!

Abdul was completely professional. I admire his patience with my questions and also the attention to detail in performing the oil change. He let me know I had an oil leak and also which part I may have to replace. It was a smooth experience. 😊

Great Manager! We had a possible issue with our vehicle and they towed the car to a shop at their own expense. Turns out the issue was from something prior to the oil change. Great management and staff. I highly recommend Take 5 in Hopkins!

Went to Take 5 for the first time back in December 2023 and gladly provided a five star Google review. Went back today and was told by Brian that I had another 2,500+ miles to go before my full synthetic would need changed and won't require an oil change until around September. Not many places will turn away the opportunity to make a sale but it seems like Take 5 values integrity over revenue.

An awesome experience! They made sure to show me the new filter they were going to put in my car. They had a lot of integrity and got it done nicely and quickly. They even gave me a discount. Although I came 30 min before close, they were still willing to get me and another person in without complaint.

If you're in the Hopkins area and are unsure about Valvoline vs Take 5, go to take 5. Had a handful of cars in front of me (not a big deal since I had the time) but was handed water and a ETA by an employee there. Super friendly staff and transparent about what you may need or note at a future change. Also; didn't try to push a higher oil price on me. 10/10 chill ash

I was very pleasantly surprised by my experience at Take 5. The crew members are exceedingly courteous and customer-service minded. They work very quickly and efficiently. Two crew members worked in tandem on my car and communicated very clearly with each other to speed their process. They also complied with my one request while performing their duties. Having performed my own oil changes for many years, I wanted to see how fouled the spent oil was. I was also shown the dipstick at the end of tbe process to inspect not only tbe volume of oil in the motor reservoir but how clean the new oil was. I am especially impressed by their standard system of checks and balances, requiring two technicians to confirm the work being done. All in all the visit to take five was trouble free as well as time and cost efficient. I highly recommend Take 5 to any and all in need of an oil change done right.

I’ve always had a great experience here! I went in yesterday and they told me I wasn’t due for an oil change yet because I hadn’t driven as many miles as I needed to, but they topped off my oil and then let me know that my tires were getting worn down and I should get those checked out! Super quick service, very helpful and the bottled water is always appreciated. :-)

Super fast - less than 10 minutes. Friendly, professional, informative. No waiting, was able to stay in car while they changed my oil, and oil filter, checked my air filter, wiper blades, tire pressure and topped off all my fluids including the windshield wiper fluids, power steering, coolant and transmission fluids.
Totally satisfied and appreciative of Jay, Dellanta, and Abdul excellent service to me and my car. Super quick service, was given an accurate wait time upon arrival. Friendly and professional staff. Definitely will visit this location again.

Greeted me with an ice cold water, pulled up the car fax and realized engine coolant was never exchanged in over 175K miles and they recommend and replaced engine coolant as well. Very friendly. Highly recommend.

Great service, I watched the manager push the oil seal ring onto the filter to make sure it was in tact. A prior oil change at a DIFFERENT VENDOR this was not done and oil leak all over my vehicle and garage floor. I will be back here for my next oil change.

Can’t say enough positive things about this place. Greeted with free water as you pull up. Super friendly and informative service. The owner personally introduced himself and actually cares. I’ll never try a valvoline after my great experience at Take 5 in Hopkins

I had an incredible experience! Dellanta, Jay, and Brasil were all so polite and professional. I am from Virginia and my last experience at a Take 5 wasn’t great, so this was great redemption. Keep up the good work! This group of people restored my faith in Take 5 :)

I got an oil change here today, and it was a great experience. Every person I interacted with had incredible customer service, and their hospitality was unmatched. They were friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable when I asked questions. They even explained how to reset my "change oil signal" - which no one has showed me before. Anthony and Brasil were the techs that worked on my car, but everyone was awesome! I will definitely be back!

Always a great experience! Fast. Professional. Pleasant and friendly. Went out of the way to give me a coupon to save cost on my last oil change and have never had a bad experience. Never try to sell me on extras and literally have me in and out in 5min.

Literally the BEST experience I’ve had getting car maintenance. The staff were extremely nice and knowledgeable. They provided fruit snacks and juice boxes for the kids. An efficient visit . This was my first time there and I’ll definitely be back!

Such a wonderful experience…it was completely unexpected! An employee greeted me and asked if I’d like a bottle of water and asked my child if she’d like a juice box & fruit snacks. He explained all the service options and the team waved me in and started immediately. They even washed my windshield upon completion….wonderful staff, excellent service!

Have had only one oil change. When I went back for next one they told me that I didn't need it done yet so gave me a new date/mileage. I just went back and they topped the oil off, checked air in tires and reset oil moniter. Away I went with no charge at all. They are very nice and honest. I highly recommend them.
