I'm a regular at Angel's, nestled next to Tyndall Air Force Base, and it's an absolute gem in Panama City. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warmth that feels like coming home. The food, oh the food, is simply out of this world! I've adventured through the entire menu and haven't been disappointed yet. Even dishes I'd typically shy away from, like the coleslaw, are crafted here with such flair that I find myself savoring every bite.

What sets Angel's apart isn't just the incredible cuisine; it's the whole experience. There's ample parking, and it's conveniently located next to a charming coffee shop, making it the perfect stop for anyone heading to the base or just passing through the area.

I tried the pulled pork. He set the hook, I will definitely be back. It's delicious and he had it out to me fast.

Will have to say this was the best BBQ ribs that I have had here in Bay county. The sides are your standard BBQ sides. Felt like they were big box store bought.

The pulled pork was real juicy and tender. Smoked chicken was great. Good flavor and smoke taste.

Ribs were a really nice change from what is available around bay county. They have a slight kick to the seasoning (not a fan) but it was enjoyable. Glad to see that the Pit Master doesn't drown the ribs in a bath of sauce, they leave it up to the patron.

Ribs 10/10: good cuts of ribs, not fatty or greasy, plenty of meat and great smokey taste with solid red rings!

My mother passed away in January 2024 and needed food for the repast.
Angel was referred to us from a PC city employee whom he had catered an event for, she gave them rave reviews.
Well we decided at the last minute to add pulled pork and Angel was able to accommodate us.
His lovely wife met my hubby at a much earlier time before their opening the next morning.
The food was amazing!!!!
My family cannot thank Angels bbq enough for not only the best pulled pork but for accommodating us at such short notice.
This is a prime example of a business that goes above and beyond to please its customers.
He's also a veteran so thank you for your service and he’s still in service to us.

Ordered an fed a family of 5. Forgot to ask for the bbq sauce thought it naturally came with it but the ribs An chicken needed no sauce it taste that good. I didn't eat the ribs but those who did bragged on them. Sides An all was just good eating. Try this place

I had their food truck at Sweetbay and it was fantastic food. The BBQ is so good and tender. The cheese potato side and corn nuggets were great too. These guys care out the customer and their food. Highly recommend and can’t wait till they come back to Sweetbay!

The brisket is really good and is really soft and melts in your mouth.

Still the one of the best barbeque places in town. Principally since they actually season their pork instead on relying on the sauce for flavor. brisket is excellent meaty, but not greasy at all. I don't know how they do it. Pork ribs are somewhat moist, and tender with some chew. Sides are pretty good, the mac and cheese being the highlight. Very cheesy and buttery.

The gentlemen at Angels are really nice and there food is EXCELLENT!! We got the brisket, pulled pork, and smoky cheddar potatoes for a work Christmas party very well priced. But the price is not the best part the food is by far the best BBQ around. There is no place in PCB, PC, or for that matter ANYWHERE that compares if you don't believe me go try it. The brisket there is best I have ever had it just melts in mouth. I want to thank yall so much for putting out AMAZING FOOD.

The first time we stopped for a pulled pork sandwich on our way to Port St. Joe and it was SO good, then we decided on another occasion to try the sausage, brisket, pulled pork, and chicken ~ again was DELICIOUS! Today we decided to try the ribs along with our brisket and pulled pork and once again it is great! Will be back again and again! Leftovers galore!

I pass by Seabreeze, Rib Crib and JR’s Rib Shack on my way from Springfield to Parker to get the 4-bone or 6-bone rib dinner with potatoes and mac and cheese for sides from Angel’s. Not saying their other stuff isn’t good. I just do the rib dinners. One of these days I’ll get around to trying some of the other stuff.

So delicious and fall of the bone. So glad my friends Terry and Dina R. Recommend this place. Great sides. Also the amount of food you get is by far the most rewarding. Generous portions. Try it and also try to mix sirachi with the bbq sauce and soooo tasty.

The chicken is so juicy, I don't know how they do it. The smokey cheesy potatoes are amazing! They have catered a number of events I have attended and I have gone by the location for takeout. Every time it's delicious.

We have had the pleasure of hiring angels to cater multiple company events for us and to be honest, you just couldn't ask for better food or service. Angels takes care of it all!

Mr Hunt has the best barbecue I've ever tasted in my 59 years on this Earth I'm talking not nobody even close but we were shocked we came down for my 40 year high school reunion from Charlotte North Carolina and I thought I got to check them out and oh my God the ribs the beef ribs potato salad the sausage the brisket everything was not just perfect it was above perfect what I don't even know how he learned how to cook like that but I know I'm in high school 40 years ago but what a great guy incredible value for your food please please go try his food you you will not be disappointed
