Great Chinese restaurant with large portions and the owner gave us a free appetizer spring rolls and fried wonton. You can taste the orange flavor in the orange chicken and the honey pecan shrimp was fried with a light batter and delectable sauce. Definitely a great restaurant to eat at.

This Chinese restaurant offers a satisfying dining experience with its ample portions and attentive service. It's a small place with a few tables. BUT the food and service make up for it. The appetizer was tempura veggies. They were delicious and on the house. The serving size was enough to have leftovers for a whole meal. I ordered the rolls to accompany my Chicken Wonton soup and my son's Beef Curry. We both had a boba drink also. He had the mango one and I chose the watermelon. Both were also delicious. If your kid loves the boba beads they will really like their drinks. I had a great time with my son there. Definitely will be returning. The ladies were just beyond sweet and speedy.

We were greeted by our friendly server. She was helpful in noting my shellfish allergy and providing recommendations.
We were pleasantly surprised when an unexpected appetizer of sesame balls and tofu vegetable tempura were delivered to our table. We were told that Helen , (we believed to be the owner/chef) likes to gift customers appetizers on the house.
It was amazing. The free appetizer was amazing, the egg custard was delicious (A MUST), and so was our entree.

The restaurant is cozy, intimate and really fun to interact with Helen to give our compliments to her.

We also noticed several regulars came in so we knew the food was gonna SMACK.

Great service and even better food. This is our new favorite restaurant whenever we are in town.

SO AWESOME. This is legit. Grabbed takeout for the whole family tonight. Every dish was delicious, hot and fresh. Service was very friendly and polite! We tried a wide selection of different foods and were all very pleased (and FULL!). Would definitely recommend Jim’s to anyone visiting or local. As a bonus the price is also very reasonable and you receive good portions. We will be coming back for sure.

Jim’s was AMAZING! We got Shanghai dumpling (xiao long bao), bbq pork buns, Jim’s dumpling soup, bbq pork fried rice, and chicken chow mein. The owner gave us a free fried mushroom and crab Rangoon appetizer that was HUGE and so yummy. All the food is well seasoned (we barely added soy sauce and we usually drench our Chinese food in it because we loooooove the extra umami salty taste). We also got a pot of their jasmine tea and it was a perfect loose leaf blend, we ended up drinking two full pots. The dumplings came with the most amazing dipping sauce as well that we added some Chinese vinegar to and it was perfect. Thank you so much for your fantastic service and food, we will be back next time we are in the area!

It was like being in China. Great food, great service, great value. They even served us a complimentary appetizer!

Very friendly and quick service. We ordered the human beef and shrimp specials. The food was outstanding. The Chow Mein was some of the best we've ever had. I'd definitely go back. They also have boba tea that was made with fresh fruit.

We stopped by at Jim’s Chinese restaurant for dinner, we were greeted by a friendly waitress, who promptly took our order as soon as we got our delicious hot and sour soup, the owner came out with a complimentary sesame chicken appetizer which was yummy. The rest of our meal was perfectly cooked and delicious. I would highly recommend Jim’s if your in town. They deserve 5 stars.

It's a hole in the wall place...but we'll worth the visit.

It's easy to miss if you drive by...its in the corner with a green awning.

We sat down and we looked over the menu. We decided to try the sweet and sour pork with half fried rice half chow mein.

While we waited on our food they brought is these free appetizers...oh my goodness they were delicious. I did not expect that.

The staff was so nice and attentive.

Honestly I did not like the chow mein...but the fried rice was really good and the sweet and sour pork was amazing.

The chicken was crispy and not over cooked...I loved the sauce...delicious flavor.

If I come back to Pacific grove...I will definitely come back here...

I stumbled upon this place when my Chinese food cravings hit, and to my delight, they were open. Even though we arrived just 30 minutes before closing time, the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The food exceeded our expectations - every dish we ordered was delicious. We would've definitely become regulars if we lived in town. The outstanding food and the warm hospitality left a lasting impression.

Incredibly sweet family, and wonderful food. They were very welcoming for our 18 month old, it's clear they value family. We ordered take out, and everything is very fresh and flavorful. We'll be back!

My family loves Jim's!! Everything is amazing, their portions are so generous, and the owners are unbelievably sweet. They gave us a free order of tempura green beans with our order and they were so fresh and delicious. Thank you so much, we can't wait to come back!

Loved every minute of it. The food was amazing! The staff even better. They even gave us complimentary snacks. We changed our order a few minutes after ordering and they were quick to accommodate it. Will definitely come back again.
Don't miss the fried banana with ice cream

I've lived in Mtry most of my life & have NEVER been to Jim's. I've heard some mixed reviews, but today was the day my son & I ventured out & I'm soooo glad we did. It's a very small place & we were looking to get something to go (which we did), but the overall experience was incredible. Family inviting, interactive, "crazy," large portions (at least 2 days' worth of leftovers), the owner/chief greets you as well w/a little snack to chew on while you wait (friends won tons & something else..I think a seseme ball) so good. We even asked about their Boba....fresh, NO powders, so I had to try the Tia Tea...omg soooo delicious (I went back 2 days later for more). Won ton soup delicious the best I have ever tasted, orange chicken (where you can actually taste the orange zest) was a game changer 😋 chow main noodles 🍜 cooked to perfection 😋 & lastly the shrimp 🍤 fried rice was so good & lite (NOT oily like most places). Very filling all of it. With all of this good stuff & the Tia tea, we will be back again & this time, we will stay to enjoy the ambiance of it all.

Small place but amazing authentic food. Very friendly staff. Generous portions!... they brought us an appetizer on the house and it was great. 2 adults, a toddler and a baby and they were very accommodating & had a high chair ready for us. Service was quick and they were doing a lot of take out orders while we were there. Definitely recommend this place! There is a reason that there are certificates on the walls that name this place in the top 100 Chinese restaurants.

This is the best Chinese restaurant in town and it's not even close. This small quaint restaurant serves amazing food, while the owner is one the most kind women you'll ever meet who loved talking to my daughter. Wonderful place!

I'm so upset that I barely found this place just recently after living around the area my entire life. Everything is BOMB that I've had and the ladies there are so sweet n freakin generous, they always give me a Lil free appetizer. I LOVE IT HERE!

Jim's is so good, the best in town. Be warn on the waiting time during meals as they do get crazy busy with their popularity in the vicinity but it's all so worth it.
