Lucas Oil Golf Course & Restaurant

Very nice & well maintained golf course. The scenery is outstanding. Even though I found it to be fairly difficult, due to several narrow fairways and lots of elevation change, I really enjoyed playing this course.

Very reasonably priced for the course. And the staff was very friendly.

Super Hosts!! 8 high school friends had a great time!! Course is challenging but playable, everyone lost balls and laughed about it!

A family favorite! We always have great service and the food is SO GOOD! They have outdoor seating that is perfect to just relax with a wonderful meal!

Tee boxes & fairways definitely need mowing. We done a play n stay & the house & set up is awesome. Super nice people

The golf course is in great shape. Very nice. Service in the club house was on point and the food was delicious. Can't wait to go back and play again. If you don't play golf at least stop by and have something to eat. We had Breaded Mushrooms and a Breaded Tenderloin. Yum!!

Food was awesome and alot of it! Fried mushrooms are a must have , staff and management very personable!

Fun course. The front and back 9's are different experiences. The front feels like a traditional old course, where the back takes you through hills.

We are traveling through trying out courses along our vacation. This was by far our favorite! Well kept course, beautiful scenery, affordable. We also ate lunch; the food and staff were all great! If we are ever this way again, we will come back!

The people are amazing. The food is delightful. The course is beautiful. My husband and I have been traveling down to this course for several years and renting the house for a stay and play. It is our favorite golf trip. We Cannot say enough about this place.

The golf course was challenging without being too difficult. The greens in excellent shape required you to look at the line for there were quite a few that had undulation which I liked. The back nine a lot more hilly and certain holes required risk and reward whether or not you wanted to play strategic golf which I enjoy. Accommodations were great the people were so nice the food was great just an all-around good time ,for the first time going there with our group we all said we will go back again hats off to the staff. As an added plus we met the owner who was just down to earth guy and really wanted to know what we thought definitely worth the trip but you would need to play twice in order to remember what the holes were like.

First time eating at This place and it was a pleasant setting on a Golf Course. You do not have to golf to eat there. I had the Bluegill sandwich, fries and a Coke. On to the sandwich it is Bluegill fillet on a round bun. They also have a large sandwich on a hoagie style bun. Sandwich was good. The large crinkle fries were great. They are thick fries cooked perfectly. A nice place to eat if in the area.

Awesome layout, every hole is different and interesting. The staff and foot are top notch in every way. I love golfing here!

Course has made a strong comeback from 5 years prior. Greens are in good shape and fairways were full. Hospitality was strongest part of experience. There had been a power outage and cooks went out of their way to accommodate. Pro was attentive and made us feel very welcome. Very pleasant experience for everyone in our group.

Really nice little country course. Cliffs, creeks, ravines, ponds, and a couple really neat tee boxes sitting high on hills. Winding golf course through hollers and hills. Really enjoyed playing this course for a good price. Couldn't imagine walking it though. Will be back for sure.

Super clean course. Nice layouts. Drains very well after big rains. Front nine is relatively flat and the back nine is pretty hilly. I think the most challenging holes on the course are 17 & 18. Maybe it’s cause I’m tired by the time I get there. LoL. Nice practice putting area and a good sized driving range. Course is back and forth over a creek quite a bit. Delicious food and friendly staff. One of our favorite places to play golf.

Had an absolute blast at Lucas Oil Golf Course a couple of weeks back. A buddy and I did the stay and play at one of the homes and it couldn't have been more fun. Staff was absolutely awesome. Restaurant is terrific. We went ahead and booked our next trip. Can't wait to get back.

I am almost 73 now and I shoot around 125 . I played Lucas last year and I was extremely humbled by it. It is a beautiful course, and very challenging. A different surprise on every fairway. You get a guide book covering the 18 holes, and it was very helpful. Everyone should try it once.

A Hidden Gem in English Indiana. A short trip south from French Lick is Lucas Oil Golf course. A good fair price at $32 for a Senior. Course is in nice shape, unfortunately today was cart path only due to recent rain but it was still a nice experience. I am sure it plays much easier once it dries out and able to mowe the fairways. Certainly would play it again if I am in the area near French Lick. Very friendly staff.
