Sea Island Shrimp House

Our first time here. It reminded me of our time in Pensacola and the sea food restaurants there! Awesome sea food here. I got the coconut shrimp plate with fries and coleslaw. It was yummy, and the servings were big. My husband got the shrimp po boy with fries. We also got hush puppies and an extra side of coconut shrimp. The service was awesome. The dining area was super clean and kept up, especially after people were done eating. We went during lunchtime, not too busy, but still enough people to see that this is yummy food. We highly recommend this place. Being new to the area, we will definitely be back.

Wonderful As Always. On recent trip with family there was 8 of us. The service was great as usual. The prices vs what you got on your plate was very reasonable. While we finishing up, the Kitchen Manager Gino Barbosa came out to mingle with the customers. He and I talked for a while and I was completely impressed with his knowledge and complete honesty. He also let us know about new plates that are fixing to start. Way Cool. By the way GM Will Fox....... Better Keep This Guy Around.

Sea Island is a true seafood lover's paradise! Their lemon pepper fish is a flavor explosion that will leave your taste buds begging for more. My visit to Sea Island Shrimp House was absolutely outstanding! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a memorable dining experience. Went here a few months back, couldn't help myself when I was going by it. Let me tell you, it didn't disappoint again! Got in with a relatively short line waiting for me. The person at the counter was very friendly and was very easy to talk to! Went to go sit down and am glad to say it was spotless! My food got out to me within a couple of minutes, and let me just say, it was as divine as last time! It was good well with no issues and was very filling! All in all it was a great experience again and I will be coming back.

After a bad experience three years ago, my wife convinced me to give Sea Island another try, and I'm glad I did. The food was great, the restaurant was clean, and the staff was excellent. Gino, the kitchen manager, taking with us and other customers to ensure everything was good. Keep up the good work! I’ll definitely be coming back!

The food was delicious, but ROBB made it a wonderful dinner for my wife and I. ROBB was so attentive. He was proactive and prevented problems before they happened. He's very good at anticipating what you may need during your dinner and gets it for you before you even ask! I can't say enough about him. It's needless to say but we will definitely be back, not only was the food good but ROBB made it an outstanding night for my wife and I! Thank you ROBB!

Covid mandates and restrictions has had its toll on all restaurants. Wonder that more than the many did not go out of business. Glad this Family chain Sea Island Shrimp House managed to survive. It constantly offers meals at reasonal prices & consistency in quality, although now paying around $ 6 more for a seafood platter. That's inflation. The staff has been downsized. No front receptionist. Good that a previous likeable manager has returned to this location from New Braunfels.

Sea Island is great! The food is amazing! You walk in and order at the counter, get yourself a drink, and seat yourself. You are given a small device that sits on your table so the food runners know where to drop off your meal. If you have leftovers, you get the boxes, bags and napkins yourself at the condiment station. The atmosphere is very relaxed and casual.

I have not had a bad dish yet. I've ordered the shrimp po' boy, both grilled and charbroiled, the diablo fish, the seafood platter, etc. It's all amazing. Everything is delicious, and I usually end up with leftover food to enjoy later.

The lunch specials run EVERY DAY until 2pm! It's great. Plus they offer 10% military discount on Tuesdays!

This place is awesome. Had an issue but the manager dealt with it like a champ. Our server was AMAZING! He tended to my mother in law with such patience and kindness… I don’t know if i could’ve done what he did. Tristan, you rock!!

Great food, good service. Have rarely had a problem with the food and have been eating here for years.

Prices are fair for seafood, quality of the food is above average. Everything is always fresh and crispy cooked to order.

This location can get busy on weekend nights.

They offer a few combos, which are great if you can't decide what to order.

I really love to come to this sea island because the service i get is always great and the food is always hot i love getting the burger and frys and the manager named Charles is always so accommodating and ready to help me out with anything i was missing and if i needed anything extra he's a keeper 😋

The kitchen manager Gino an crew that was there on June 8 was very nice and helpful. The first time my wife and I have ever been here food was excellent. The Dotson.

The food was excellent! We ordered raw oysters, and it was really fresh. Shrimp pasta was amazing. There is nothing to complain about.

My wife and I can't get enough of Sea Island's Teryaki Salmon and Shrimp served over a bed of rice pilaf and paired with green beans and corn. Oh, and served with a couple fresh hush puppies. The taste is so good.

As a native San Antonian, Sea Island is my favorite fish place. I usually go to the Forum location. My favorite menu selection is the #14....the fish is wonderfully prepared with the fries and hush puppies and coleslaw...and they always give plenty of lemons...i love that!...oy! 🤠 im getting a hunger for it as i write the review.

The place was WOW . The atmosphere was fantastic some of the food was slightly overcooked, but still delicious.

Food was delicious ! Crunchy coconut shrimp, zesty chipotle fish tacos, fresh oysters and tastyyy grilled shrimp. I will definitely be coming here more often for my fish fix! For beverages they serve soft drinks, lemonades, beer and wine. Not sure if the lemonades are handmade, but they are really good. Next, I will be trying the blackened Atlantic salmon

We really enjoyed the food. Baked and fried whitefish, grilled and fried shrimp and Diablo crab cakes. Green beans, red potatoes, okra, french fries all good. They serve beer and wine. When we're in SA we will definitely come back!

Tried the diablo fish and shrimp! Very yummy. They do have very tasty grilled shrimp. Crab legs is a must try. I really enjoyed it with the melted butter and I will get it again. Go get those 2 and enjoy :) Decent prices too.. around 12$/ plate.
