We used Dostal Catering for our wedding in June 2024 and were over the moon with our experience. They had a variety of food options that fit our guests! We were able to taste test the food before signing a contract and knew they were the one for our wedding! Their pricing was very affordable and the food was very high quality. They were on time and very professional on our wedding day. The bussing of the tables was a huge weight off of our shoulders! Overall, we would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for affordable, high quality food for their event!

P.S. HIGHLY recommend the zesty chicken, our guests STILL cannot stop raving about it!

Dostal's catered the celebration of life for my mother at the IBEW reception hall, everyone commented on how wonderful the food was, especially the mashed potatoes. (highly recommend) The service they provided was perfect, the hall was set up perfect, I would definitely use them again and will recommend them to any one needing a great caterer, not just a good caterer but a great caterer.

Dostal Catering was amazing! We live out of state and were able to do a tasting before the wedding but had not had their food besides that, and they blew it out of the water during our wedding. We had so many compliments on the food, and they were able to accommodate us by keeping vegetarian options and kids options in the back to make sure we didn't run out for those that needed them. They handled everything so efficiently and were able to set up and tear down without us even noticing.

I highly recommend Dostal's, they make amazing food, were very reasonable when it came to prices, and stuck to their word about everything.

Dostal recently catered for my wedding and the food was unbelievably good! We had roast beef, stuffed shells with marinara, bacon-wrapped green beans, party potatoes, fresh fruit salad, pasta salad, and dinner rolls. The staff is wonderful to work with and continuously made sure we did not need anything. Jeff and his staff were also very accommodating and easy to reach. I would definitely recommend them.

Dostal was great to work with. We used them for our wedding in April and Jeff was personable, professional, and he made it super easy for us to select menu options. We'd had Dostal at another wedding we attended, so we knew the food would be good.

We rented linens through them as well as cutlery. All silverware came rolled - they have several colors to pick from for napkins if you choose linens. The pick up and return process was so easy.

Day of, the catering team was professional and attentive and everything ran so smoothly. Highly recommend using Dostal for your event, and if you like mashed potatoes, get the party potatoes. They're a guest favorite!

Dostal catered our recent wedding, and we can't say enough great things about them! Dostal filled in extremely last minute when our first caterer bailed two weeks before our wedding. We talked with the owners of Dostal, who managed to find last-minute staff to serve our wedding -- one of the owners actually worked the event himself! We are so grateful that they worked so hard to figure out how to provide catering for our wedding.

In addition to the wonderful service they offered, their food was also FANTASTIC! Our guests raved about it, and everything they provided was truly delicious. In particular, the pulled pork was excellent, and the party potatoes stole the show.

We had Dostal catering for our wedding and it went GREAT! The food tasted amazing and the service spectacular. We got the Roast Beef, Chicken Parm, Party Potatoes, Green Beans and more. Everyone was raving about the chicken and party potatoes. We also got the real plates in silverware. The bussing staff was very attentive and very nice. I would HIGHLY recommend them. They were great through the whole process.

We had Dostals catering for our Rehearsal dinner and Wedding reception and the food was so good. The party potatoes are the BEST. Had people asking me days after if we had any left overs of the Party Potatoes. Haha. But they were wonderful to work with I will be using them for future get togethers. They were so helpful and since we had more leftovers than expected at the wedding reception they took the left overs back to their shop and let us come back Monday with bigger containers to repackage it all. That was so helpful and kind of them. So I highly recommend them not for just their food but their services as well.

The food was amazing, our guests were so impressed! Dostals was right on time and ready to go. They also cut our cake for us and set it out in very specific areas. We had several flavors of cake and they did not mind having to put certain pieces in certain areas. They also packaged up all of our leftovers for us (as well as the top tier of our wedding cake that we were saving). It was so nice to not have to ask a friend or family member to do these things and to not have to worry about anything. Not only was the food great but the service was outstanding as well!

Dostal's Catering was INCREDIBLE to work with for our wedding day. They were prompt, very communicative, and kind to all of our guests. Also, the whole crew was willing to work with us at our venue to make our serving process the most hospitable and accessible to all.

The food was also awesome, just as it was in the tasting and our guest truly enjoyed each item we had to offer.

Dostals catered our wedding, and everyone was BLOWN AWAY by the food! We did buffet style, and everyone was so kind and helpful during our experience. The food was phenomenal, and we couldn't be more thankful for a great wedding food experience!

These guys/gals provided the catering for my buddy's wedding reception and their food and service were top notch. The pulled pork and mashed potatoes were friggin fantastic. We were all pretty amazed at the flavor. They also were very economically friendly with the drinks which made for a great night. Nice work, guys!!

Just used Dostals for catering my daughters wedding. They were very easy to work with and very reliable. Lots of variety on their menu to choose from. We went with the bbq pork and added chicken. Both were very tasty as well as the sides.

We can’t thank the wonderful people from Dostal Catering enough for the fabulous meal they served last night at our son’s wedding!! The whole meal was delicious, but the prime rib was a highlight and was truly exceptional!! I would highly recommend your services to anyone planning an event!

OMG ❤❤❤❤❤ My daughter was married Saturday March 24 during that horrible snowstorm in Cedar Rapids and we had Jeff and Cindy and the team be our caterer. I can not give enough stars for them!!!! They worked with me and let me pick up silver early to set on tables and keep beverages longer. The are so great to deal with! I feel like I have great friends now....not just a vendor relationship. The food was better than we expected!!!! Would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!!!! No wonder they have won the A-List every year it has been done!!!! Top notch all around!!!!!!

Food was good but what really impressed us was the service. They took care of EVERYTHING. When you have 100 things going through your mind the day of your wedding, these guys won’t have to be one of them. Setting up our date and menu, even though it was just over the phone went great. We started our meal 30 minutes earlier than we had planned and they were standing there ready. At the end, they had packed up all the leftovers, just had some of those for supper tonight even. Pricing was good as well. Very impressed

We had Dostal Catering assist us with our wedding and they did a great job! The food and service were great and they were easy to work with prior to the day of.

We also rented our tablecloths through them for a great price.
