Great food and great service! We got "The Feast" along with a brisket and ribs platter and an order of burnt ends. The food was seasoned well and delicious! The brisket wasn't dry and neither was the chicken. You can always judge a BBQ restaurant by their brisket and chicken. We ordered to-go, but there are tables inside and outside. Everyone we talked to was friendly and attentive, so I'm sure the tableside service is just as good. The only thing I would change is the garlic bread: it was a little overdone (but this isn't a deal breaker unless you're a bread fanatic). Overall absolutely would recommend!

Love this place! Selena was a wonderful server and the food was fantastic! You won't be disappointed! Try the Moinks, brisket , broccoli rice casserole, Peppa Pig and blackberry cobbler! Sweet tea is very good too.

I love bbq. Cooking it myself or dining out.
The sides were all good. Beans, green beans, coleslaw, and mac and cheese.
The brisket was good. It had a very good flavor profile. I thought the potion size was good. My only criticism was it was a bit greasy.
The staff was pleasant and very helpful.
I like this establishment, and we will be
going back to check out some of their other dishes.

Got the brisket and ribs. This place is top notch. I try BBQ all over the place here in FL and it is very difficult to find actual brisket. The ribs were also excellent, tender but not totally fall off the bone. Everything was just excellent. The fries were super hot and well seasoned. This place is in top 1% of BBQ joints I have been to in Florida.

Small place, but that usually helps to keep the food good without issues of losing customer service.

The food was good. Ordered pulled chicken sandwich with a small Caeser salad and Mac salad. Also a pulled pork sandwich with fries and regular salad. And sliders with broccoli rice casserole.

The meat had some fat in it to give it that extra flavor. Lots of flavor. Tastes very good.

We will definitely be back here! The food was delicious and the meat was so tender and flavorful. Prices are great for the portions they provide. Sweet tea was not too sweet and delicious. The inside is a little small for the amount of people that come in but we were seated rather quickly and it wasn't too crowded once we sat down. The male waiter that served us was super busy and working so hard but he was very attentive and kind.

Artman Country Smokehouse did my daughter’s wedding in June 2020. It is the best BBQ around this area. I could not have been more pleased with them. They truly were a full service caterer and it was awesome food with Awesome service. I am getting some Brisket today.. So Excited. I highly encourage them for wedding Food services. They made everything look and taste truly amazing.

Have been eating here for 2-3 years. The brisket is phenomenal and the pulled pork is good as well. The sides are the best of any BBQ restaurant around. I saw another BBQ restaurant near Miller’s Ale House rated 4.7. If that place is a 4.7 Artmans should be a 5.7!

My boyfriend had the best beef brisket of his life. I got Mac & cheese, fried green tomatoes, and broccoli casserole. This was the real deal, the taste of southern that some people try to duplicate but it comes out wrong because they’re cutting corners. I enjoyed the food immensely, it was all fresh and done up like my memories.

This place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Best damn BBQ in the Ocala/Villages area with ease. Can't say enough great things about the food. Tried a little bit of everything and it was all great, moist and falling of the bone. Service was killer and pricing is very fair. I don't think I can eat BBQ anywhere else now. My only issue was we were there just before 4pm and they were running out of different meats. This is only because they're so damn good and they were slam packed. So get here early and enjoy some phenomenal BBQ.

Amazing meal. Not fond of smoked meat but this is the exception. Small local restaurant limited seating and parking. Always a crowd though. They are closed Monday and Tuesday.
We both ordered the beef brisket with mashed potatoes and Gravy . Wonderful meal. Potatoes were homemade. Sampled rice and broccoli casserole and Mac and cheese. All home made comfort food. Ordered fried pickles and they were a good appetizer. Service was good, prices good. One of the best meals we have had lately. I understand why Artman’s is always packed when we drive by.

The beef brisket is to die for. The sides are ample and delicious. I had green beans with kielbasa and potatoes, macaroni salad, and corn brea Crystal, our server, was terrific! They were short two servers, and she still did a fantastic job!

Had a “Moink” and it was delicious. It’s a meatball stuffed with cheese, wrapped in bacon and served with BBQ Sauce. Hubby had the brisket (sorry no photo) which was a good sized portion, thickly cut. Mac and cheese was yummy and I tried the corn casserole which I had never heard of before. I really enjoyed it and would order again.

Great local BBQ. Had St Louis Ribs. The meat fell off the bones. I'll be back.

First ever visit. As such, our server, Crystal, suggested the New Papa platter, so we'd get to sample a little bit of everything. Great choice! Food was terrific, including the sides. The brisket about melted in my mouth. Generous portions, and fairly priced. Parking is limited, so plan, accordingly. We will definitely return.

Small dining area but not a long wait for a table and the food was well worth the wait. The meat wasn't over cooked or over smoked. The sides were delicious and all freshly made.

Perfect experience! This is where you wanna go for barbecue. The food was delicious and the meat was so soft and tasty. The service was absolutely excellent. There was so much food! Unforgettable flavors ❤

We ordered two lemonades, an iced tea, brisket sandwich add shredded cheddar on a roll with Mac n cheese and a moink, a brisket plate with fries, garlic bread, & Mac n cheese, and half a chicken with collards, corn bread, green beans. EVERYTHING was perfect, tender, and flavorful. I didn’t even try the sauces. The server was on-top it!

First time trying and I’m normally hesitate on BBQ because it’s always dry or lacking flavor. NOT HERE! I got the feast and it was FILLING. The brisket was so tender and flavorful. The pork was mouthwatering. The broccoli casserole was so hearty and warm! I’m not one for BBQ sauce but there was a sweet one that I loved! Everyone MUST try this place. Absolutely loved it and I’ll be back! My new BBQ spot! Sorry I dove in before I could get a whole pic 😂 but ribs and brisket pictured 😊

Excellent BBQ Restaurant! Meals are prepared as you order at the counter. Everyone was very pleased with their meals. As a test I ordered the Fried Cod Special. It was also excellent. Artman's sides are as good as their BBQ. It looks like a counter service restaurant, but the staff is very attentive getting/refilling drinks, clearing plates, and satisfying your every need. I highly recommend this restaurant.
