Epic Event Center

As a bride without a binder (a vision) epic made my wedding dreams come true! My husband found the venue on The Knot and we went and toured as soon as we could. We love family owned businesses and knew after looking at their gorgeous venue that they were the one. Working with them over the last year for our 09/14/24 wedding was EASY. They were accommodating, quick to reply and always there when I needed communication. Our wedding day they went above and beyond. Whether it was helping set up, move thing around, reroute guests, open doors, get things taken down, set off the cold sparks, manage the bar, or fill water cups, they were on it. The venue itself is beautiful. I didn’t want a venue I needed to overfill with decor and this one doesn’t require that. It’s beautiful just as it is. Thank you Epic, for everything!

We had our wedding reception at Epic Memorial Day Weekend 2023 and it was everything we hoped it would be and more! ❤Karen and her team started our planning and Les and Tracy took over and didn't miss a beat! The venue had a perfect mix of indoor and outdoor space and adults and kids alike had a great time. We had so many compliments on the venue and how friendly the bar staff was. Clean up was a breeze and when we needed some extra tablecloths during setup there they were!

I am a planner and like to make sure things are running smoothly for events I host and may be a bit of a control freak and perfectionist, but I was able to let it go and just take in the day knowing the Epic team had it under control and I could just enjoy our wedding day to the fullest!

Karen, Jami, and the entire Epic staff were amazing during the whole wedding planning process! They were able to answer all my questions and made the day of absolutely amazing! Thank you for such a wonderful experience! We cannot thank you enough for all of the hospitality!

We recently had our daughter Taylor's wedding at Epic on June 25th. Beautiful venue and Karen and staff went out of their way to make sure every detail was perfect. Rain forced them to have an indoor ceremony but it turned out beautiful. That's the nice thing about Epic, you have choices. If your outdoor ceremony plans don't work you have the option to have your wedding inside. It's spacious and elegant. So happy with everything! Highly recommend!

Epic is absolutely perfect!!! Could not ask for anything more at all on our wedding day!!! Karen & all epic staff make sure you have zero worries on your special day! They take care of absolutely everything and guide you through your day 100%. Everything is completely upfront they answer all questions with complete confidence. Fantastic space! Excellent layout. Beautiful accents, gorgeous trees, really nice Gazebo and firepit patio area, pretty pond with lighted fountain, and very clean. Would definitely host or attend future events here!

I had the best experience having my wedding at Epic! I threw last minute changes at them and they accommodated every single one with a smile. It was the perfect day.

I am absolutely so beyond happy with how our wedding turned out at the epic event center! Even through the transition of owners, everything was absolutely smooth and there were no hiccups anywhere. The venue is absolutely GORGEOUS. Everything is new, modern, clean, the bar is huge, and it's got some phenomenal outdoor space, too! We were able to take some amazing photos outside, and the atmosphere on the inside is warm and inviting. They also have spacious bride/groom suites for getting ready, as well as a huge dance floor and a stage! All of the staff were professional, courteous, and very helpful through every step of the way. Layne was our day-of coordinator and she made everything run smoothly and she did it all with a smile on her face! This event center was worth every single penny, and I can't get over how gorgeous everything was. I'm so appreciative of all the staff that worked to make our day spectacular, thank you for everything!

Karen, Jamie and the entire staff were amazing to work with! They catered to our every need in anyway they could. The venue is BEAUTIFUL and has the best places for pictures. I would recommend Epic Event Center over and over again!

I had the pleasure of getting married at this venue. Karen and Jerry Sunderman are amazing people and they have created the premiere venue for weddings in the area. If your thinking about venues in the CR/Marion area look no further. Book now because once you word gets out how amazing things are there won't be any openings.

This place is absolutely AMAZING! Super accommodating and little last minute changes are never a challenge. Everyone who works for Epic makes you feel at home. We loved our day here! It may have been postponed a year but it was well worth it!

We just had our wedding here last weekend and it was EPIC! The staff and owners were very attentive to us, the wedding party, and our guests. It started raining during the day and we wanted our ceremony outside (we were a little bummed)-- the owners kept track of the radar and kept us updated. We were able to have the ceremony outside! Beautiful venue, lighting, outside area. You don't even have to decorate a whole lot if you don't want to....it's gorgeous as is!

My wife and I highly recommend Epic Event Center for your weddings and events. We had our wedding reception there recently and Karen and the rest of the team at Epic beat our expectations in every way possible and went way above and beyond of what we would expect from a venue. They were also super easy to work with, and provided us and our guests with exceptional service. The venue itself is beautiful inside and out which created an amazing setting for our event. We can’t say enough good things about Epic Event Center!

We couldn't be happier with choosing Epic for our wedding. Karen helped guide us through the entire process. We are beyond grateful for all of her help as well as the rest of the amazing staff there. The venue is stunning. We had our hopes set on having our ceremony outside by the gorgeous willow tree. The weather had other plans which resulted in having us move everything inside. We were grateful to have that option, in Iowa you never know what the weather is going to be like so having a good Plan B is a huge plus! The staff helped the day go flawlessly. After 12 years of waiting to get married, the day was amazing. I only wish it didn't go by so fast!

We had our wedding recently and it was the greatest day ever! From the moment we arrived the staff was attentive to our needs and our guests had the best time. Karen and Jami made the whole day so easy and were very helpful with providing lists of vendors in the area they have used for food, photography, and dj services that made our day wonderful and easy to plan. Our guests could not stop talking about how fantastic the venue and staff were. The bar staff did a great job of keeping up with guests and staff were engaging and friendly. Would recommend 100% for any wedding or group event.

Our son and daughter-in-law were married at Epic Event Center in July of 2021. We had nothing short of an amazing day, thanks to the thoughtful planning and organization that Karen, Jamie, and family provide. The venue is beautiful, spacious, and practical for spending a day of celebration with family and friends. We chose to have the wedding at Epic along with the reception and everything flowed beautifully. I would have to say that the reason we chose Epic over other venues was the feeling that we got from Karen the first time we met her that they would take care of us and guide us through the many details. We were all very well taken care of and we had so many comments from our guests that they loved the venue and had such a great time!
