Rosedale Park Event Center

This was the perfect spot for our wedding. The ability to have ceremony, reception, catering, decorations, and getting ready space all in one venue made planning so easy. The staff was always friendly, helpful, and quick to respond.

Rosedale Park Event Center was the perfect place to host our wedding. We wanted a venue that could host both our ceremony and reception and had indoor and outdoor options for a ceremony space. I originally wanted an outdoor ceremony, but the weather on our wedding day said otherwise but the indoor space was still beautiful for our ceremony. Additionally, Jennifer was wonderful to work with and helped with all of the planning details including table arrangements. We also loved that they have an on-site caterer. Best of all, I truly felt like I got my money’s worth from this venue. I highly recommend them to other Iowa couples!

We planned our wedding almost entirely via email and over the phone. We had a short initial meeting in person then we went back to Texas where we live. They were AMAZING about email correspondence and scheduling phone calls to hash out details. The venue was beautiful, the food was spectacular, and even knowing they do this regularly and they deal with so many people we felt like they actually cared about our ceremony and reception and made us a priority. We are SO happy we decided to do our special day there and higher recommend the venue as a whole and Zest catering in house for the amazing food. If we could give more stars we would because they made our day easy which is hard to do with a wedding.

Our experience having our wedding at Rosedale was great! Jennifer and the rest of the staff were all super helpful and kind to ensure everything was just the way we wanted it. We were able to have our ceremony outside, although I appreciated the opportunity to have the ceremony in different locations if the weather was not cooperating. We had an outdoor cocktail hour and then moved inside for the reception. The food from the in-house Zest Catering Company was great and there was plenty of space at the venue for pictures. Plus, there was no need to bring in outside decorations because Rosedale has decorations you can use at no extra cost. I would definitely recommend this venue!

We had such a magical wedding! We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful venue. Jennifer and staff took such great care and ownership in making sure our day went off without a hitch. Jennifer is very knowledgeable and detailed to ensure we knew what they do and do not take care of so that our end knew what we needed to do. We got married here in June 2022. Not only is the venue gorgeous, but the gazebo out back also made for a beautiful ceremony. Jenn and Hannah were so easy to work with-they really listened to what we had in mind for our vision and accommodated all of our requests while also being prepared for potentially bad weather the day of the wedding. I feel like choosing this venue was one of the best decisions we made when it came to planning our wedding!

Our daughter got married here. We kind of just moved in for the day. Hanna was so welcoming. The staff and food was excellent. Sue the bartender was great. You all helped make our daughters wedding beautiful and fun. Thank you all.

I can't say enough good things about Rosedale. Firstly, the venue is stunningly beautiful. It really needs no "dressing-up". Secondly, Jen is so nice and so helpful. Not only did she answer all my silly questions but did so promptly and with a smile. Working with this venue was such a breeze it felt odd not to have to worry about so many things. We chose to go with the all inclusive package which meant we had access to the whole venue from getting ready to our outdoor photos, ceremony in the beautiful gazebo, and the reception hall. Lastly, the catering is fantastic. We attended multiple tastings and loved everything they served. We ultimately went with the classic menu simply because it fit into our budget the best. If we had more room in the budget, we would have gone with a custom menu because we tasted so many delicious offerings that were not on a set menu. I would highly recommend this venue and catering company.

My wife and I got married earlier this year and we just wanted to throw a reception for all of our family and friends to come eat, drink, and celebrate with us. Rosedale Park was the perfect place! Jennifer was really great to work with and answered all our questions right away. The staff were all very nice and helpful throughout the night. The venue is beautiful and the food is amazing.

Wonderful venue. We had SO MANY compliments on the food, saying it was the best wedding food they have ever had! Jennifer and staff were great to work with, always accommodating, and great response times on emails. Highly recommend.

My husband and I were Married at A Touch of Class in September of last year. We also had the reception there. It was the best experience EVER!! The staff was wonderful. The owner is super great to work with. The venue was absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend.

Our son was married here a few weeks ago. It was a wonderful experience. The outdoor setting under the gazebo was beautiful and the surrounding area made for perfect photo opportunities.

The indoor venue for the reception had a great set up. Plenty of room for seating, dancing and visiting around the bar. The food selection was plentiful and delicious.

We couldn't be more thrilled with the accommodating and friendly staff and the entire experience.

We used Rosedale for our 40th high school reunion. Jennifer Howell and the crew were great to work with. Very attentive to our needs and how we wanted the evening to progress. They are highly organized and their chef and onsite catering were wonderful. They also do off-site catering should you prefer that option. They work very well without outside vendors, like DJs and photo booths. Their prices are very reasonable and they offer a wide variety of pricing and food choices. They have a fully stocked bar and had enough servers to handle the needs for drinks, dinner service and clearing tables after dinner. They even have a variety of table centerpieces to choose from if you don't want to supply your own decor. Our classmates had a terrific time and the evening went off without a hitch! I would highly recommend using Rosedale Park event center for your wedding, business or personal event.

Our daughter was married at Rosedale Park Event Center and we could not have been happier with the service we received! My daughter originally was going to have the reception inside, but she ended up having the ceremony and reception all outdoors. The location is beautiful, dare I say perfect, for a wedding location. The gazebo and trees as a backdrop in the pictures were breathtaking, and the park offered many great places for photo ops. Jennifer was available all day and I cannot say enough about how great the service was the day of the event. As for the planning, Jennifer helped us plan decorations and other decisions for my daughter's day, which was stress free since she was such a joy to work with. I would highly recommended Rosedale Event Center for any events you have!

We had the absolute perfect wedding day! Rosedale Park Event Center was the best fit for our day. Jen and employees were so helpful with all of our questions and making sure our day went smooth. We couldn’t imagined it any better! Our guest had a great time and LOVED the food.

My goodness where to begin! Rosedale was the first venue we looked at for our wedding and it took us no time to make the decision that this is where we wanted to get married. During the planning process Jennifer was a huge help and always reachable for our (NUMEROUS) questions, closer to the day of we met Hannah and she worked with us on the seating plan for inside and out, the week leading up both were prompt with answers and when weather didn’t cooperate they had plenty of options on how to proceed. Food was EXCELLENT, many of our guests commented on how good the food was. The bartender was also wonderful, we had a blast with her the night of! I can’t recommend them enough!

This was a fantastic wedding venue and the owner, Jen, was great to work with! The whole property is beautiful! We loved that we could have an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, and then have our guests come inside the lovely venue for dinner and reception. It made for excellent photos too! There were many menu options and bar packages available, and guests commented on how good the food was. From our initial consultation, to making food choices, to arranging the fine details, to putting together a seamless ceremony and reception, to settling the bar tab at the end of the night, Jen was there to answer questions and make sure everything went smoothly! My husband and I are happy to give our highest endorsement of A Touch of Class!

I am so glad that we chose Rosedale park event center for our wedding venue. Everyone was so helpful and supportive throughout the whole process but especially the day of so supportive and helpful and just made the day so much more enjoyable. We appreciate all the supportive on our special day.

Got married here in October and everything was amazing. All the staff were incredible and went way beyond what was expected. The catering and bar were great and they even have their own wedding coordinator who helped out a ton!
