Stacy's Scratch Kitchen

My husband brought me here for a surprise date night and this has to be my absolute favorite restaurant in the area now. From the service, drinks and food- everything was perfect! We started off with the crab dip-yum!! I got a chicken dish and my husband got the steak, we shared a couple of bites of each entree and both were delicious. I got a strawberry mojito and it was refreshing, our waitress was so nice and brought everything out on time. We ended our night with the butterscotch cheesecake which was to die for! We will definitely be back😊

Stacy's Scratch Kitchen was so worth the trip. We had the Japanese Smoked Wings (amazing Bennie!), Grouper with Pineapple Pico and Dirty Rice Entree and T Bone with Lobster Corn Dog, Sweet Potatoe Pomme Frites and Corn Puree. Everything was amazing including the portions (steak and eggs this AM and Grouper for lunch). Great drinks as well- Espresso Martinis and Black Manhattans (note hand for scale of pour size portions as well!). Rich was out server and bartender and the service was excellent.

The food and service here is absolutely phenomenal. Have been a couple times since they opened and quality had been consistent each time. The attention to detail is really what sets Stacys apart. The creative menu is also a plus.
Went in for their mother's day special. I got the Lobster scallop and corn risotto topped with a bacon jam and it was perfect, my girlfriend got thre stuffed chicken breast and she said she it was great and she is a picky eater so that says a lot. Drinks were good and we finished it off with some cheesecake. If you're thinking about going here I strongly suggest you do, you won't regret it.

We had the most delicious meal last night. The craft cocktails and appetizers were spot on and the meals were delicious! The atmosphere is cozy and the service was great! Thank you for the wonderful dining experience!

Delicious food that is freshly prepared in a timely manner. I ordered the Lobster roll and it very good. My husband ordered the fish and he said it was great. We enjoyed our meal and the staff were attentive and wonderful.

Food and drinks were delicious! Made reservations for an anniversary dinner and felt we were being rushed out of the place. It was a Friday night and didn't seem toooo busy. May try again to give the service another shot earlier in the week.

The lavender empress martini is phenomenal ! Such a warm inviting atmosphere and the staff is great ! Lobster roll was amazing

We were in town for a small family wedding. We found this gem down the street from our carriage house rental. We knew it would be good as soon as we walked into smiling friendly faces. We decided to dine at the bar and Rich, our seasoned bartender, was fantastic. We started with a dozen oysters which were freshly shucked and tasted perfect. We also tried the seared scallops appetizer which was cooked to perfection. I ordered the 22oz porterhouse and my husband got the seas bass. They sold out of the 22oz and sent out a HUGE 33oz steak. (enough for a small village) The steak was cooked perfectly, seasoned nicely, and tasted incredible. The seabass was also spot on- served on a beautiful corn sauce with a crispy potato pancake. The only dish we finished was the oysters but we wanted to try as much as we could from this wonderful menu and restaurant. This is the kind of place we'd drive 2 hours to enjoy. I hope all the locals around know how good they have it here. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for a delicious evening and experience.

Extremely surprised and pleased to have such a wonderful restaurant by the lake. The lobster roll and tomahawk steak with lobster were both delicious. Cocktail menu offers a great mix of something for everyone. Our server, James, really made the experience worthwhile. He is knowledgeable and offers suggestions based off what is new, interesting and your preferred taste. So happy. Highly recommend.

A lovely place to have either a special celebration or dinner. The appetizer we were served couldn’t be finished by three of us. Are we light eaters? We tried the fish and chips and I had barbecued beef over absolutely stellar grits with bacon.
Our waitress was very nice except she called us “you guys” which always makes me cringe. Guess that’s my problem because I’m 80.
We’ll visit again soon and take the hungry grandson! A wonderful concept in today’s fast food world filled with culinary short cuts.

Don't let this small town jem fool you! The meals are prepared with thought and pure joy! The combination of flavors and food are amazing! A must try! New menu items each week, who couldn't pass that by!

Stacy's Scratch Kitchen was a real treat last night! My first time here and will be back soon!...Wonderful staff, reasonable pricing and the best steak and scallop dish I've had hands down!! Cozy, comfortable atmosphere...10/10

We were staying at a nearby Airbnb and our hosts recommended this restaurant . Wow- we were so surprised and impressed by this spot! It’s casual but classy inside and the hostess promptly found us a table on a busy night. The cocktail menu was innovative and the waitress was great. I ordered seared scallops with a grillled lettuce salad that had so many flavors it was amazing. We were too full for dessert but were told they were made locally. Highly recommend this place!

We recently visited Stacys Scratch Kitchen because it was my birthday. From the moment we walked in, the staff was very welcoming. The table setting was immaculate. I ordered lobster rolls and fish n chips. The food was out of this world. If you ever frequented Stacy's food truck, you know what I'm talking about.

I was first introduced to Stacy’s Scratch Kitchen when she was operating a Food Truck at a marina at Sacandaga Lake. I kept going back because her food was so good. Not your typical quick pub food like menu. She has interesting choices and awesome salads and I usually don’t enjoy salads that much. Ever since she has been operating a restaurant, I have been three times. Each time everything was super delicious. The Hippie Chicken sandwich is HUGE and the chicken is moist and sooooo good. The Tomato vodka bisque soup is scrumptious. Again I’m not the biggest fan of tomato soup and this was the best soup I’ve ever had. When I go to Stacy’s I’m very likely to veer off my standard choices because everything I’ve ever had that she’s whipped up was so good. That’s saying a lot because I usually order one meal anywhere I go. The same thing any restaurant i go to. If they don’t have it in the menu I go elsewhere. I don’t like to order anything else. Well because I had such a great salad at the food truck I decided I will try pretty much anything she makes. I have not been disappointed. She changes the menu frequently and there are some great choices available. I love this place.

I went to Stacy’s Scratch Kitchen for a banquet dinner. We had about 25 people
and the food was amazing. I can’t believe how a small home town restaurant can produce culinary style food. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. I will be going back soon.

There is always a difference when a restaurants chef is the owner. Stacy does a great job of presenting and varied menu with multiple price points to satisfy a broad range of diners. The service staff was spot on and the atmosphere and lighting very pleasant. This is one of the better restaurants in the area.

Had dinner last evening and it was a delightful experience. My husband and I shared the ahi tuna appetizer which was delicious. I had beet and feta risotto with scallops and my husband had the fried chicken. Both were delicious. I finished my meal with cheesecake and as the rest of the meal was fantastic. Can't wait to go back!

I went to Stacy’s on a Friday night after work around 8 o’clock so there were only a few patrons left. Wait time was minimal and the staff were very social and welcoming. My son ordered the Tomahawk Steak medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. I have found over my years of eating out, very few places will give you a true medium rare steak. He devoured it. I went in wanting a filet mignon steak but for some reason the Classic burger description on their “Light Fare” menu rang true to me, so I ordered one medium rare as well. The freshness of the grass fed beef melding with the seasoning and juices of the beef swirled around in my mouth to create a symphony of flavor. This was by far the best damn burger I’ve ever had! The Rosemary infused fries were a great side as well. We were stuffed but we couldn’t help but to snag a slice of cheese cake for when we get home. We are excited to return to try some of the other menu items, perhaps that elusive filet mignon next. For the future Karen’s, the photo features an age appropriate “fancy lemonade”.

This place is amazing. The food is top notch and with ever changing new options. Great date night dinner spot!
