The Lakehouse

I wanted to check out a new place after church and came here. This was my first time here and it was great, I will return.

The venue is really nice and has a good vibe. The service was great too, I was greeted by two friendly hostess when I arrived and the server Jewels helped me with all my menu questions. The food was really good, I had the lakehouse jalapeño burger and it was delicious. Oh, and the bloody mary had the perfect amount of heat. 10/10 would recommend.

Atmosphere was great. Nice chill spot, good for families or a place to have a beer.
Fried pickles were REALLY good. Great texture, still crunchy on the outside.
Our meals were decent(4 stars for food)
I would give it another whirl.

1st timer here and I can’t wait to come back and bring my boyfriend and friends! Got here a little after they opened Saturday and sat on the patio in the amazing 73° sunny weather that overlooks the marina… This is exactly the kind of ambience that I need after a stressful work week. My server, Aaron, was the most friendly attentive server I could’ve asked for, And his suggestions for food and drink were on the spot.
I had the fire jalapeño burger, and the lakewater refresher cocktail.
I’m a happy girl.

First time going and it was so much fun! Food was great, staff was so nice and helpful. Live music The Halftones played Saturday night and people were dancing and having so much fun!

This place is awesome! Good vibes and chill out spot! Not like your other restaurants where you feel rushed out! Amazing drinks and amazing food! The service was excellent! Definitely coming back for sure!

Fantastic lakeside and roadside gem that far exceeded expectations. Our server Presley was awesome welcoming and attentive. Great libations selection and nice indoor seating bar seating pool and other games as well as outdoor and dockside seating near a music stage. Menu options fantastic and well cooked and fresh. Nice choices for kids. Prices very reasonable and quality high. Will go again for sure!

Darrell and I came here for the first time and we sat outside it was really nice looking at the lake with the boats and jet skis. We ordered the Ranch house chicken sandwich! It was delicious the chicken was grilled to perfection beautiful grill marks with that delicious char not to much either. The chicken was not dry! It was on a fresh jalapeño bun that was soft and flavorful. It was dressed with pepper-jack cheese and bacon that was crispy and delicious. Then light lettuce mayo and great pico de Gallo. You take your first bite and immediately get a burst of flavor and with every bite you get the crunch of the bacon and pico! As we left I saw a table with some of the best looking queso! I want some!

I love the vibe of this place. I didn't try the food, but the cocktails/shots were very reasonably priced. The live music was also great. And the lake view, which I didn't take good pictures of, provides the best ambience. I don't live nearby, but I will be back.

The veiw is beautiful, the food was great and the atmosphere was laid back. We got the fried pickles and bottle caps with fish and chips then a mushroom and Swiss with margaritas and beer you won't be disappointed!

Pretty amazing place to go. It’s on Eagle Mountain lake with a view on the marina and out onto the lake. The atmosphere was great and the workers are very polite and were attentive. I will say that it is a bit warm inside and the stools were pretty uncomfortable, but the bar’s stools (had backing) were good. The burger I got (BBQ) was delicious and the so were the fried pickles. I didn’t really care for the sweet potato fries; they were a bit too sweet for my liking, but their regular fries were good.

Overall, a great place to go and eat or just to have a beer. I recommend this place to anyone who wants some good food in a great location.

Food is always so good! The vibe is fun inside, too! The bun on my burger was super fluffy, and the cheese was nice and melted and warm. The sweet potato fries were so crispy as well! Love to come here after a long day on the boat, for a nice, warm, filling meal.

Finally a place where my beer never runs dry!! Cool place to go watch boats. Food was excellent and the beer served on super cold mugs!!!! Thanks you for providing a great experience and service that was top notch! Here your glass is never empty! Thanks for the great day!

We just happened upon this place because we were traveling through FW and we are so glad we found it! Staff was so friendly and it was a beautiful day so we sat outside and enjoyed the lake view. We ordered a patty melt and chicken sammy. Both were so good. I have to add that the sweet potato fries were absolutely the best I’ve ever had! Amazing!

We would definitely come back if ever in the area again. And I’m going to be craving those fries again! So good.

An awesome local dining spot on the water! We sat outside for lunch and loved being able to enjoy the lake scenery while we ate our meal. The other reviews are definitely right: the burgers and the fried pickles are the way to go. We got the Ojai and Bandera burgers and they were between a 7-8 out of 10. A little too well done for me, but very solid, yummy burgers.

Shout out to our server, Lily, who was on top of everyone's orders, checked in frequently, and was extremely friendly and helpful about the area. What a great example of excellent customer service!

Word of caution to some: the fried pickles and fried jalapeños must be cooked together because we had about 7 pieces of jalapeño in our pickles (which was great for us, but some might be picky about that).

Additionally, everything is about $1 more than the menu on their website shows.

We are excited to come back and try other things too! We will definitely be visiting for round 2.

First time here! They had Halloween special drinks and the burger of the month. The burger had ghost pepper in it and it was spicy good. I ordered the witches brew which was a good deal for the amount of vodka in it. If I was into football, I would watch the game here, but alas I am more into food and will come back for that.

Delicious! The ranch house chicken was cooked to perfection and the fries were crispy, and it was affordable with good location looking at the lake

Great owner, terrific bar! Best restaurant/bar on Eagle Mountain Lake.

On the lake with a large patio so the views are great if you like lakes and boats. They also have a lot of live music on the patio. Food is always good. Ranchhouse chicken sandwich is my go-to. Parking can be tricky and it gets pretty busy in the evenings when bands play so I'd recommend going early around 5 if you have a large groups over 4.
