Twelve Twenty Coffee

I write this review still sitting here drinking the pictured cappuccino with honey. Hands down, one of the best cappuccinos I've ever had anywhere. Polite hosts, beautiful food court seating area (see photo), this is a can't miss place.

In time, I hope they'll add more speciality offerings and some additional food options, but it is a firm 5 star coffee shop. Will be frequenting often!

If you like real coffee from a place that pays special attention to the art of coffee making, this is the coffee shop!

I had the mocha latte with oat milk, and my husband had a slow drip black coffee. Let me tell you. It was quite enjoyable. The staff were nice and attentive.

Twelve Twenty serves some of the best coffee ever. But even better than the coffee are the vibes provided at Twelve Twenty, Victoria and Bastian are so friendly and I always look forward to having a conversation with them.

Definitely try the chicken salad sandwich it is top notch!

Endearing little coffee shop in the mall. Every drink goes out with love, which takes a little time. Be patient, have a chat, they are attempting to bring back the essence of what a cafe is. This isn’t “wham bam thank you ma’am” coffee, this is “take a breath and tell me if you’ve found some peace lately” coffee.

We're from the UK and were visiting friends, came here for a coffee, it was one of the best coffees I've ever tasted and made perfectly not too much foam like some coffee shops and great pour like they do their daily checks properly (I have worked in coffee shops before).

Service was amazing, so friendly and polite and you can tell these guys have a passion for what they do, bearded guy with the glasses and the lady (who I believe said she was the owner) were funny and polite.

Would definitely recommend going here for the coffee and staff 10/10!

I frequent 12:20, despite never having much reason to be in the Galleria otherwise. It’s a very well organized cafe, I never have to wait too long for my order, and the staff there is amazing. I’ve seen the staff interact positively with a lot of their customers, I see a lot of regulars come back, and I know that people revisit not just because the coffee is some of the best in the area, but so is the staff.

Cappuccino and chocolate biscotti were awesome, and the owner Victoria was very friendly! Also cool that they recognize and donate for National Diabetes Awareness month!

The gal who was at the register was beyond helpful and kind. The experience was calming, peaceful and the iced mocha latte— wow. Delicious. I will add the barista did take his time caring for each individual order and I did not mind the process. Ultimately, it shows attention to detail and it reflected well in the drinks we ordered. Highly recommend & will be back! Truly lovely staff & drinks!

Today was a great day, all because of Victoria at “Twelve Twenty Coffee” and her extraordinary barista skills. I ordered a maple latte to-go, but the first sip encouraged me to take a seat and enjoy. I’ve been a fan of coffee for over ten years and counting, but the latte made by Victoria is by far the best I’ve ever had. I am a culinary professional, so it’s a bit challenging to please me because I assume I can do better, but I am no match for Victoria. I accept my place and will continue to remain a humble and loyal customer.

I absolutely L O V E 12/20 coffee! The coffee is amazing, the owner is fantastic, and the crew is spot on! Tried their cookies and instantly became my favorite cookie stop as well! The chicken salad sandwich is one of the best in the area! If you're around definitely give it a try! Absolutely love the fact that the owner collaborates with other locally owned woman businesses to help build and even stronger community! This is one of my favorite coffee places!! If you're in the Tyson's area this IS the coffee spot!

Best cappuccino I’ve had in my life and am a picky coffee drinker. The stuff is also very friendly & pleasant.

Listen, the coffee here is an experience and it's delicious. I know some people complained about the wait times but you gotta remember it's not a pump and dump chain that churns out garbage coffee and sells you milk and sugar at a premium *cough* Starbucks *cough*. We went for a slow drip and a latte and it wasn't super fast but by no means were we waiting forever. Not to mention they were both delicious. When I'm in the mood for a good cup out here in the galleria I'll definitely stop by.

I came this Morning with my sister I really love the place.The late was good and I love that pistachio croissant, the service was great and baristas friendly

Victoria, the owner, was a very gracious host. My daughter was hungry for a plain croissant and Victoria found the next closest option in the back of the cafe- a chocolate croissant. Then my son wanted an apple, sliced. She somehow had an apple slicer read to core and slice the apple. Everyone was happy and it’s all because Victoria went above and beyond. Thank you!

After a recent move from Seattle I’ve been looking for a decent craft coffee shop. This place qualifies and then some. The barista was nice enough and very quick with my order. I feel like the reviews that are more critical probably love Dunkin’ Donuts and just don’t know what real lattes, macchiatos, etc. should actually taste like or how much skill and time a quality barista takes.

I hope they open another location that’s not so hard to access as this one is inside a giant mall and has no direct parking lot access.

This coffee shop one of best coffee shops I've been to. There's spacious seating and the employees are very friendly. Definitely stop in for a cappuccino. One of the best ive ever had. You won't regret it.

I love this place! The owners and their workers are so inviting. They catered my wife’s birthday party last year. Everyone loved the food. Would highly recommend the chicken croissant sandwiches. 10/10.

Victoria owns this place and she is awesome. She loves what she does and has a passion for quality service, experience, and coffee. Even under construction, this spot is authentic and thoughtfully designed, with a tasteful, down to earth, yet sophisticated aesthetic. Not only that, but the drinks were delicious. I don't drink coffee, so I judge a coffee shop on its chai: this one is housemade (no concentrate) and you can taste the difference. If I lived in DC, I'd come again, and when I come back, I'll make a point to stop here. If you're lucky enough to live nearby, give it a shot–you won't regret it!

New coffee shop on the third floor of the Galleria and it’s amazing. Kevin makes some of the best cups of coffee, if you want a pristine cup you have to try it out when he’s there.
