Casa Real, Mexican Restaurant

First visit. Cannot believe we didn't know about this hidden gem! Amazing service, DELICIOUS food- overly generous portions. Fantastic margaritas. Will most definitely be back. New favorite Mexican restaurant in the New England area. Yum!

Great food that exceeded expectations. I had heard so many good things about Casa Real from friends in the area. I had to try the food for myself. We got the tacquitos Mexicano, casa real bowl with vegetables, and the bbq wings. Everything was amazing. I loved the chips they brought out to each table with an amazing salsa. The only critique is the guacamole could have been enhanced by a little more lime juice. All in all the food was amazing and this has become our favorite Mexican restaurant in VT!!

Margarita flight with choose your own of their twelve flavors. Casa house burrito that could be a meal for two, if you so choose, with it's very large portion; Filled to the brim with delicious beans, lettuce, pico and meat. The dessert sampler was a refreshing end to the meal and gives the most indecisive person the opportunity to try something they like.

This half-xican appreciates the tacos and enchiladas. Amazing service and the most authentic option I’ve found this far north. The lunch menu is excellent value. Hopefully I’ll see mole added to the offerings soon. If I can’t make it to my hometown in Texas, this will satisfy the craving until I can get down south.

Consistent fast service and delicious food. We have been here 3 times with 5-7 people so lots of items have been sampled. The chips and salsa are on the table immediately, the servers are amazing, and the serving sizes are large. It’s been a long time coming to have this caliber of “authentic” Mexican restaurant in the Burlington area. 😍😍😍 Pictured are Tacos Carnitas and Fajitas Texana.

Its been a search trying to find something that reminds me of west coast quality mexican. Finally Vermont has hit their mark. Even the Birria is on point. The prices good. The horchata tasty and the Margaritas normal size (large cup with good tequila and flavor balance, not pint size with no tequila) services with a smile from the chips and salsa to the entrees. Authentic enough for me especially this far north.

Delicious! This place is HUGE and busy! Our party of four got right in and had chips and delicious salsa almost immediately. Everyone enjoyed their meal, I got the quesabirria. The portion was so massive and they were so rich, I only managed to eat one! They were just as delicious the next day. The margherita flight was great, guava Marg was a 10/10! My partner got one of their MASSIVE burritos and said it was delicious. The only disappointment was the guacamole - it just wasn't very good.

Service was pretty quick, except for the end of the meal, we had to wait quite a while for the check. With two entrees, bigger than we could finish, an appetizer AND drinks, we left just over $40 poorer! Excellent value for the experience for sure.

We arrived at the restaurant a little before 4pm. Got a good parking spot, many seats available. Service and food were absolutely great!
But after 5pm, all tables were already taken and there was a looong line of people waiting for a table, and the parking lot had many many cars trying to find a spot. Just crazy!
We will definitely be going back over and over. Highly recommended but GO EARLY, because it gets packed for dinner.

My favorite new spot to grab Mexican food! Casa Real can accommodate large parties with no notice, the service is good, and the food comes out extremely quick. The one thing they could improve is bringing the check. The service is fast until you get your food and even checking on you, then they just leave you waiting for a very long time, still i go as much as possible. The food, drink and prices are all great! Highly recommend.

Been to quite a few Mexican Restaurants in my day this is rite up there with some of the best service, food, good size serving and price. Would highly recommend. Good luck to a new business. The Chicken Fajita was delicious!

I brought my mother here for her birthday. We had a great time. For her birthday the staff came out singing and placed a sombrero on my mother’s head. They spoon fed her the ice cream making sure to get some on her nose lol. So much fun and a wonderful atmosphere. The food was delicious and authentic. I will definitely be coming back here again. Gracias to the amazing staff here.

Food was delicious and made with quality ingredients. Portions were generous and prices are very reasonable. Hard to choose what to order—they have a large menu! Even though they were busy on opening night, service was excellent. Convenient location with plenty of parking. Highly recommend!

Without a doubt, the best Mexican restaurant in VT. My wife loves the Birria tacos, and my go-to is the enormous casa de real burrito. I can only eat a 3rd of in one sitting it really is humongous. I recommend the Pina colada margaritas they are delicious, we have been here for dinner 6 times and have yet to have a bad experience.

Phenomenal food, huge portions, fast & amicable service with great prices. What's more to love? We waddled out of there fat and happy!

Really good fajitas at a good price. My only gripe would be more tortillas with the larger meals (5 vs 3), The staff is very attentive and the atmosphere well themed.

My wife and I have eaten Mexican cuisine all over the United States. It’s her favorite. If you’re looking for really good Mexican food, Casa Real is a great place to go. The food is prepared and presented in true Mexican style. The portions are very generous, the service is excellent, and the prices are very affordable. In a day where most people seem to find a way to complain about something, we want to take the chance to compliment a new business that is doing it’s best to make sure your dining experience is positive and enjoyable, hoping that you will return. We love this place.

Unbelievable! My partner and I had appetizers, excellent meals with plenty of leftovers, margarita flights, and desserts. All under $100. 11/10! We will be back.
