We had a desperate situation where we had no hot water and another company would not call us back. Comfort Specialists got someone out to the house within 24 hours to determine what was needed to fix the problem. They were open about what options we had and scheduled the install day much more quickly than I expected. Everyone I interacted with was polite, honest, and communicated well. I will definitely continue using Comfort Specialists.

Our technician was very professional, competent, and efficient. He found the issue with our cooling system and was able to repair it in a very reasonable amount of time. Our home will be comfortable through the summer. We always receive excellent service from Comfort Specialists and will continue to use them in the future.

Had no idea who Comfort Specialists was until they were assigned to me for a warranty repair for my pool heat pump.

The technician, Jarod, identified the issue near immediately. He shared the information with me, communicated with the company to coordinate part replacement, and even took the time to explain things to me since I am on the handy side and was inquisitive.

He was very professional, on time, and knowledgeable. And I truly appreciate the fact that he didn’t take one look at me, see a woman, and discredit my ability to understand any of this.

I now have a new HVAC company to regularly service my home and pool heat pump needs.

June 22nd in the middle of a heat wave my AC stopped working. I called the original installation company but did not hear back. In the meantime, it’s over 80 degrees in my house. I had never called Comfort Specialists but after reading their information and reviews I called. It was Saturday night and I was wondering if I would actually talk to a person and not an answering machine. I did! I spoke to the emergency answering service. They took my information and said the technician would call me. Within five minutes, Mark S. called me. He was very understanding, kind and professional. He asked me if I could wait until morning and I said sure. He had four calls yet to make and it was already past eight o’clock that night. He was here bright and early Sunday morning! He was terrific! He diagnosed the problem and had my AC running in a very short time. Comfort Specialists just gained a new customer.

Josh was very kind, patient, courteous, and knowledgeable. Took the time to go over and issues and to discuss my options. Exceeded expectations and will definitely call Comfort Specialists again for my furnace/ central air maintenance. A++++

Moving to a new place is daunting. I mean, finding a new dentist and a barber is annoying, but when the boiler cracks just 6 weeks after you move in during an arctic blast (and another to come) and have no relationships with local HVAC professionals, it is really stressful. At the end of the day, even with supply chain issues and a higher than expected cost to repair, I feel like I made the right choice going with Comfort Specialists. Part of my delay getting a repair scheduled was the week spent getting bids and realizing that even those that seemed pretty reasonable, were very abstract proposed solutions that often amounted to little more than stop-gaps. It was so relieving just to get the proposal from Beau, because it was obvious that he actually cared and knew how to tailor a solution for my needs. The proposal was very detailed and offered me certain upgrade options that were explained, but not pushed on me in the least. I felt very informed about the whole project. The install team was a blast, really. They took so much pride in their work (look at the second picture), explained everything as they went along, and it really made me happy to work with professionals who still feel that their craft is important and matters to their customers. It does! I cannot recommend Comfort Specialists enough.

Our technician was a real gentleman, very polite, and very competent. My husband is very fussy when it comes to the people that service anything in our home, especially our furnace and our air-conditioner. He was very pleased with this tech.

Repairman was very prompt and explained what was wrong with my furnace. He was able to fix my problem that same evening! Repairman was extremely nice and polite.

The tech support crew are very prompt and polite. I feel our air conditioners are working efficiently because they are the experts and they check all the components both inside and out.

Ashley's responsiveness was great and David did a great job on site. Got right into the issue, knew exactly what he had to look for and got it done.

I had a 3 ton ducted Trane heat pump replacement and a 12k btu Mitsubishi mini split unit new-install done by Custom Specialists. I got the quote within a day after calling, and the units installed within 2 weeks over a two day period.

The service technicians were exceptional. They went above and beyond to route the coolant and electrical lines when installing the Trane indoor unit to minimize tripping and maximizing access to the space behind it compared to the original installation. The same attention to detail was done on the lines for the new install.

The new units are great. The Mitsubishi outdoor unit is so quiet, that you cannot hear it even standing next to it. Only indication that it’s on, is the fan rotating. Being spring in central PA, the temperature ranged from near freezing to mid-80’s over a week and the units maintained the indoor temperature at a constant 71 degrees flawlessly on ‘auto’ mode.

Overall, an awesome experience, both service and equipment.

David was quick and did a great job with my mini splits. He was very informative and was fun to talk to while he was working.

Our Comfort Specialist serviceman Mark was very courteous, knowledgeable, and skilled. We appreciated his expertise and attention, and were especially grateful for the emergency (very cold!) Sunday visit.

I have dealt with Comfort Specialists in Selinsgrove, Pa. for over 10 years. This is due to their expert installation of a Trane system. I am totally confident they are responsible for keeping us toasty warm in the winter and cool as a cucumber in the summer. I especially owe this rating on my favorite technician, Michael Schrawder and his expertise in keeping my system in top working order!

Work was done on time and in a timely manner. Worker was friendly, neat, and kept us informed of how long the job would take and what he was doing.

The tech was outstanding! He took time to explain everything and corrected some issues that we were not aware of. Excellent job and great customer service!

I called Comfort Specialists for an emergency after hours. I was having a gas leak and I didn't know what to do. Luckily I was connected to someone immediately and they walked me through how to shut off the gas. They were at my home within the hour and they throughly inspected my house and found the problem. They had to order a new part to replace the existing one but had it the next day and I was back up and running.

Was glad to have them come and get some of our main trunk replaced after we had a toilet overflow and get into that system. Great to be able to run our central air again.
