I’m a longtime patient of Dr. Nichols. They recently squeezed me in on the same day which was amazing, and I was able to avoid urgent care. The skills, knowledge, and pleasant bedside manner of all the doctors here is great.

Dr. Benjamin Nichols at Greenbrae Dermatology is low-key, experienced, professional, friendly. He inspires confidence. My visit with him felt as though I was chatting with a friend; his keen eyes were observing every inch of my skin while we talked. He was very aware of my needs, and put me at ease with kind comments, such as, "Please take your time; I'm not in a hurry here."
The office staff and support personnel were equally cordial. Kind. Respectful. Efficient. I felt my care was important.

I've been a patient with UCSF dermatology for over 5 years but appointments were always so difficult to book and they never had availability that wasn't months to over half a year out to book. I did lots of research of dermatology offices in Marin and chose to go to Greenbrae Dermatology to see if a switch was helpful to me. My first appointment was seamless. The PA was so kind and answered all questions and explained everything I had concern about. The office staff were friendly as well. I'm happy to have made a switch here.

I'm very pleased with the outstanding treatment and immediate care! Clarence PA explained what the treatment would be to correct it. Michelle assisted with care. Friendly efficient staff and process. Convenient location.

I went in to have a none healing sore on my face looked at. I met with Clarence, the physician assistant. He a look and diagnosed it immediately. He clearly explained the problem and did the required procedure. I was in and out in under half an hour. I highly recommend this office!

Love seeing Dr. Benjamin. He is excellent, caring, skilled and smart. The new office is lovely and his PA and staff are equally wonderful. Such a nice experience! Highly recommend.

Excellent experience. The staff was courteous. Doctor Nichols was the best! He took his time, asked me what I wanted, listened to me, explained my conditions, and fixed what he could. A rare experience. They are now my people.

I had a fairly serious injury to the tip of my finger that was initially dealt with at an urgent care center in LA near where the injury occured (that less than great experience.. Friday night in the emergency room in L.A.!) Greenbrae Dermatology was a much better experience. I was seen promptly, all the steps to be taken were well explained and the staff was great,

Just super-impressed with Madison, a physician's assistant at Greenbrae who was able to see me at very short notice. I've seen quite a few dermatologists and Madison really stood our for thoroughness, knowledge, and empathy.

1week after my CO2 laser (not sure if this is the correct terminology) where the top layer of my face and many spots and sun damage were burned off i have almost completely recovered. Just some pinkness, a few spots still scabbing and a little swelling remaining. The rest of my face is baby soft and smooth. Also my pores appear much smaller and finer. I like Dr Nichols as a person too. He didn’t try to upsell me and instead always asked what bothered me instead of telling me what I needed. He was the one who applied vaseline all over my face after the procedure instead of his nurse, so I think he is very caring too. Highly recommend Dr Nichols

I love Greenbrae Dermstology, they are the most courteous, professional people you will ever meet. They absolutely go the extra mile to take care of you. Of course Madison is a rock star, the most empathetic Dr. there is.

Dr Nichol's office was highly recommended by my plastic surgeon. I had a terrible case of contact dermatitis, which had been misdiagnosed by Kaiser. I was in terrible discomfort. I got into Dr Nichol's office the next day, was seen by Clarence Chu, PA, and he correctly diagnosed my symptoms, even catching the infection that the Kaiser doctor missed. He prescribed meds, which immediately improved my condition. Don't wait, call Dr. Nichol's office for your skin conditions. I strongly recommend them.

Dr. Nichols is the best derm doctor I have been to. I have been to at least 5 others in Marin for a skin issue none could cure. All were more interested in selling me beauty products or doing injections than they were at addressing the skin issue I was suffering from. Dr. Nichols is the only one who actually addressed my issue successfully. In two visits it was healed. I had been suffering for months and it had spread everywhere on my body. He didnot try to upsell me on beauty treatments either. Several years have past since I saw him last. I was very unhappy with my last Cancer screening from a highly recommended doctor. The doctor barely looked at me.
I went back to Dr Nichols. He did a thorough Cancer screening, froze and burned several areas on my face bothering me. No nonsense. I like that.
I just recommeded him to my best friend. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He is a real Doctor not a cosmetic salesman.

Dr. Hession was great! Friendly, polite, kind. Explained all that needed to be explained. Follow up plan was clear. Will happily return for future care.

Madison who is a PA is fantastic. Would see her again in a heartbeat. Very helpful and knowledgeable and quick.

Dr. Nichols is the best doctor I know, in any field. He is thorough, knowledgeable and sensitive.. He is also practical. He has a wealth of medical and world knowledge that he shares freely and directedly and so helpfully.

In my opinion, Dr Kane is an experienced dermatologist. She clearly explains what she is seeing and what she is doing. I find her to be a very pleasant person as well.
