I ordered my food via Uber Eats so I can not vouch for the restaurant atmosphere. However, the Taste and portions of the food were Excellent! The catfish tacos are crunchy and that slaw on top gives a nice, pickled taste. The Collards were awesome but it's kinda hard to mess up greens, if you ask me. The Trainwreck Brisket bowl, OMG! The meat is super tender, Mac n cheese was good, and the cornbread was excellent! I am one, Happy camper right now!! I definitely recommend this place!! 😋

We get a catering order at work at least three times a year, this was our first time ordering through deep run roadhouse and it won’t be our last. We like to try different places. The food was amazing. So many compliments from our staff. The chicken wings, brisket, and Mac n cheese were the biggest hits.

The ordering process was easy. I changed our quote a few different times and the staff was just amazing with all the changes.

The customer service here is so nice! We placed an online order but unfortunately they were all out of pulled pork. I told him today was my birthday and I really was wanting that and didn’t want to substitute any other type of meat. No biggie I said. Upon checking my email I saw they had sent me a coupon for my next visit! My husband and me are celebrating our 12 year anniversary in a few weeks so we plan on celebrating with some delicious food from here! Thanks so much for the kindness and outstanding service!

Deep Run Roadhouse catered our wedding for 200 people and it was perfect. They were communicative, organized, and delicious. The team helped us with logistics and figuring out amounts for dinner, gluten free/vegan options, and appetizers. There were hardly any leftovers because guests went back for seconds and thirds (the Mac and cheese was a hit!). Lots of compliments from guests and we couldn’t be happier!

Attended a wedding that was catered by Deep Run Roadhouse. The food and staff were fabulous! The pork BBQ was delicious and the rolls and cornbread awesome. I also had the roasted sweet potatoes which was unbelievably delicious and I don’t normally eat sweet potatoes. They were not too sweet and not too bland. Perfect! Will call them when I have the need for catering.

I ordered takeout, walked in at the appointed time, and my online order was ready. Cuban sandwiches, some hush puppies and a few sausages later my party remarked on how delicious the meal was. I didn’t rate the atmosphere was because I was in and out with the pick up. I’ll be back.

Used their online ordering system yesterday, wow was that fantastic and such a breeze! This was my first time trying their food. I ordered their brisket, pork, chicken, beans, greens, Mac and cheese, coleslaw and sweet potatoes. Everything was delicious! I highly recommend everything I ordered! I will be going back!

We had our wedding catered by Deep Run Roadhouse, and our guests said it was the best wedding food they've had in a long time! We had gluten-free and vegan diners, and we were able to accommodate those needs. The mushrooms were AMAZING, probably my favorite thing we had! Staff was incredibly easy and kind to work with.

Deep Run Roadhouse was the BEST part of our wedding! No doubt about it. The food was delicious and the catering staff were friendly, efficient and professional. ALL of our guests loved the food! From the tasting to determine our menu to the check-out at the end of the night of our wedding, Deep Run was flexible and accommodating. I cannot recommend them highly enough! Their catering service is top notch! From the easy online, ordering, to the confirmation, and the delivery updates. Had them caterer a 30 person office party and it was surprisingly affordable, and handled seamlessly, delivery was perfect and everything was included. Great service.

DRR catered our wedding on 6/8/24. They were punctual, professional, and knew what they were doing! I had a stress free day with them at my wedding! The bartender was also incredibly personable! She even took time to visit my wedding website so she knew what to expect. I was shocked (in a positive way!) it truly shows just how dedicated they are to their customers. From the taste testing to the day of, we couldn’t have asked for better people to work with! We also received lots of compliments on how well the food tasted!! Their sweet potatoes are to die for, but seriously, all of their food is delicious!! Stop here for your BBQ wedding menu!!

Deep Run Roadhouse has amazing customer service. After a catering snafu with another restaurant, they were able to cover a last minute (and I mean within 45 min of calling them) catering order. I already knew their food was amazing - but I'm so appreciative of their amazing service.

I can’t tell you where Short Pump begins, what a census designated area is, or why this place that’s seemingly outside the Richmond city limits has a Richmond address.
What I can tell you is that Deep Run Roadhouse is a reason to make the 25 minute-ish drive west from downtown. And while I can’t say any one particular item is “the absolute best” in the Richmond area, the ribs, pulled pork, and brisket are all solid. Add in the side of hush puppies and I’m a happy diner.
If you find yourself in this area (whatever it is) this is a much better option than any of the chains heading back on W Broad St or probably any of the non chains (if you can find any) around there.
Bottom Line: this is BBQ that’s worth the drive

We got this catered for our wedding and everyone enjoyed this so much. Highly recommend! The service was so good and and personally if you’re a Mac and cheese eater like me you’ll have a few servings of their amazing Mac lol! Overall, great experience using them to cater our wedding!

My family picked up catering for our Thanksgiving dinner and it was AMAZING! Highly recommend their bbq for dining in and any catering event, big or small, that you may have. The customer service and workers were top notch and super helpful with us placing the order and picking up. You can tell the team is trained well and very customer oriented! The portions were generous and the food was finger lickin good. Even my mom who is picky about her meat loved it, especially the brisket. Would love to get their catering again for thanksgiving or other events. Made it so easy and everyone loved it! The sides were delicious, highly recommend the hush puppies, Mac and cheese and cornbread with honey butter. The pulled pork and bbq sauces that came with it were delicious. Cannot wait to come back and give this place more business. Would recommend it to anyone looking to support a local business with delectable bbq as well as high quality customer service.

Call in order was ready whe i arrived. Still hot when i got home. Ribs were well seasoned and tender. Coleslaw was a little chunky but taste good and cornbread with cinnamon butter melted in my mouth. Hmmm yummy meal. I will go back.

From the outside, you know exactly what you’re getting. That’s quality home cooked BBQ, chicken, mac & cheese, and all the like. The service was great as it was our first time there. The food was phenomenal. Would love to return one day if I’m ever back in the area

They been around for a long time and I've been too all location. This is my first review I've ever written for any restaurant but I need just been so impressed I have to give a shout out. They're are better than ever . Best bbq you can get in the Richmond. And the price unbeatable!

My church family and I use Deep Run Roadhouse for our annual gathering. They are easy peasy and professional to work with. The person taking my order was patient and was able to pull our previous order, making for no thinking on my part :) The delivery service....the lady was on time, set up everything, was professional, we offered to assist, she had her own method set up, asked if we were pleased and I was. My church family loved EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING. It was more than enough for our small crew of 25, and everyone was happy. We were accommodated along with the food with plates, serving ware, napkins and sauces. 5 stars from us.
