South Shore did an excellent job in installing our AC. They were extremely knowledgeable and advised me on where to locate the outside unit —>in a place not requiring extensive electrical wiring work (increasing cost). They also work closely with an electrician so that the owner doesn’t need to coordinate bringing in an electrician. I requested bids from other companies and South Shore’s rate was extremely competitive, and lower than another company. They also strongly advised that we register the unit with the manufacturer which results in extending the warranty from 5 to 10 years — they offered to assist us, if needed. South Shore also guarantees their installation work for one year. I will be using them to service the unit annually. Great company and staff!!!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Doug legit saved us. Not only did he care and have such empathy towards our situation he went above and beyond and put even more effort into making sure things would work out for us so we could get a new boiler. He humbly said it wasn't a big deal. But it was to us, he was the only one willing to help and go out of his way to make sure we would have heat and hot water again.
Cameron and another staff member( I hate that I didn't get his name) were so kind and laid back. They made us feel like we didn't have to worry about a thing. They worked so hard in our cramped basement. Their hard work and laid back nature was so refreshing.
This is the best company to hire, hands down. NO ONE ELSE IS BETTER!

Doug and his team are the best. Fast response, professional, and neat. Last year they put in my new forced hot air furnace and A/C. This year I came back from vacation to no hot water, called Doug he returned my phone call and within a couple of hours he was at my house sizing up the job. Next day he installed a new hot water heater by 11 am. If you want quick reliable and professional this is the guy.

It was unfortunate that I needed to replace the a/c compressor. However, speaking with Doug and Cameron made the entire process great. So thorough, polite, friendly and timely. All around a great experience with South Shore. They installed a new central a/c unit in a house I purchased in Stonington, CT. The process couldn't have been any smoother, from scheduling the install, to the techs that came out to do the install. They will now be my first call for any heating and cooling issues!!

The owner and crew addressed any and all of my concerns. They worked with me to assure the layout of the Mitsubishi mini split system met my heating and cooling needs while still paying attention to aesthetics I had envisioned. They were just installed so too early to comment on value or economic savings. We will see but happy overall with install.

Call them up to come look at my furnace because I wasn't getting enough hot water to the shower and sink in the kitchen.
They replaced a mixing valve and I've had great hot water since.
This is the second time I have used them and they did a great job both times.

The circulator for our domestic hot water failed suddenly on a Sunday. We communicated the problem to South Shore on Monday morning. Before the day was over, they replaced the circulator and we were back taking hot showers again. South Shore gets it done.
