Great Cuban sandwich and breakfast platter (Cuban Sunrise). The exterior is unassuming but the food and staff are lovely. We stopped here on a whim during a road trip and we're so happy we did. We'll add it to our list of favorite local finds.

First time at this restaurant but l promise it wont be my last, my husband had visited before and couldn't stop talking about it. I finally got my chance to eat here. Amazing is all l can say the food was hot and fresh the two lady servers were nice and friendly. There was a wait but you have to expect that when your food is cooked to order and fresh. Totally worth the wait. I had the pancakes and bacon, my husband had the bacon and ham omelet as you can see the omelet practically filled up the plate. Two could definitely share. I love the atmosphere and family feel. Please take the time to stop by you won't be disappointed!

Just amazing!! Simply amazing place. We came across this place by chance and this is a gem in central Florida! Really! The lady who welcomed us was so nice and sweet. We ordered orange juice, an omlet with Polish sausage, and house fries, all lf which were just so yummy. Beat any omlette I've had so far in the US. The host also mentioned that the salsa beside the omlette was home made. So yum!! Loved this place. Also, with the way the restaurant is and how they have decorated it and the bathrooms, so simple and makes you feel like you're home!

My first visit to this restaurant. EXCELLENT SERVICE, felt welcomed immediately upon entering. Both the Food Quality and Quantity were EXCELLENT… They offer a unique blend of flavors that makes your meal special. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you stop by and give them a try

Great little spot! Very nice and clean inside. My husband and I both ordered the Cuban egg sandwich and they were hot & delicious. The coffee is also amazing. Will definitely be back!

We both had the BLT, my husband added a fried egg to his. Both were great and served with piping hot fries that were lightly seasoned. Since we were there for breakfast we got coffee which was served with straws. Since we were not provided utensils, the straws came in handy for stirring our coffee. If you like your coffee on the strong side, you'll love the coffee here. It had some nutty finish which was amazing.

Service was ok...not great. We were never checked on after our order was taken. I would have loved more coffee or maybe some water. Being one of only 2 tables occupied, there was no reason to not be asked if our meal was OK or if we needed something.

We will go again and try their lunch menu because it looks amazing!

Went there for my first time. This another Bunnell gem. Passed by this place for years, and finally went in. Got the Ukrainian Pelmeni, basically meat inside a ravioli, and I got the salad. Absolutely amazing, the owner was very nice. The place is clean as whistle. I went back for a second time, forgot to take a picture of the burger, but round 2 was a good as the first. But I certainly will be going back 😁 some restaurants it's hard to get a good meal. Some places the food looks better than what it taste like. Safe to say this place makes a good meal, and it's visually appealing to start everytime. I always like when my eyes eat first in a meal. Happy customer of the Happy Chef 🙌

All around great experience. I wish I had taken a few more pictures. They’ve completely remodel inside after purchasing the building, and it looks so nice! The food presentation was something of beauty, even signed off on their artwork, which I loved. The owners were so wonderful and friendly. The iced mugs they have for their drafts really adds that little extra something. Now, about the food…we have had such a difficult time finding delicious food in the area. Well, look no further…the flavor of all their homemade goodies is definitely worth bragging about. We both had the schnitzel with homemade potatoes and their salad with the homemade dressing. Every bite had me doing the humming moan. We will be back…again and again. Welcome to our neighborhood! 💜

Absolutely the BEST Omelette we've ever had. Great customer service. I believe our server was one of the owners because she was full of smiles, prompt and courteous.

First time eating here & I couldn't be more pleased! The dining room is immaculate, the food was bursting with flavor, and the service was great! What more could you ask for in a restaurant. Do you self a favor... Don't die without checking this place out.

This is a gem in Bunnell. We never expected to find this welcoming place in the area. The staff are very friendly. You must try their delicious Ukrainian Meet Ravioli and their Solyanka Soup. We will definitely come back!!

Best breakfast place between Daytona and St. Augustine. I come here at least once a week. Breakfast served all day but don’t come here too late they often sell out out of the ingredients and forced to closed earlier but in any case the kitchen will close an hour before. The owner is also the chef in the kitchen and is world renown, most sauces are made in house from his recopies, there are often items not on the menu that were made just because, kitchen is impeccably clean(like in fine European restaurants vs dirty greasy kitchens in 99% of local restaurants) we are lucky to have someone like this in our local area. Definitely come check this place out

Highly recommended. Can't say that I know what Cuban food is supposed to be, but the food was great and different than what you can get at other restaurants, so I assume that it is authentic Cuban food.

Met the owner and the chef owner. They were very nice. We saw guys eating breakfast and looked like plenty of food. I ordered the Cuban sandwich at 8 am. It was great. Give them a try.
This was months ago I did first review. I had been there a second time and thought Cuban was good.

This is third time and I took 3 friends (April 2024). We all ordered Cubans and the meat had hardly anything inside. I ate half and then asked the owner and showed her how little meat there was so she took back and added more. What did not happen was to ask the other 3 people how theirs were as they stayed quiet. They were in there for the first time. My guess is there was not 2 oz of meat for $12 sandwich. When she added more it was great, but they need to have consistency but if the first portion of meat is what is normal I will not be back. Consistency of portion is important so not sure if standard or cook today went on skimp side. I was not asked for refill of water either. The fries were very good and $2 portion was large for all of us. I do wish them the best as she is nice and small business owner.

We had tried to go several times but it was always closed due to staff shortages. We finally caught it open and glad we did! The place was immaculately clean. It was nicely decorated and the food was fantastic. I've never had an omelet like this one before! And the crepes were fantastic too! We will be going back.

I was just passing through Bunnell on my way to Palm Coast and happened upon this little restaurant. Oh my god! The food was incredible! This was hands down the best omelette I've ever had! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for awesome food. Also the owners are lovely and the place was spotless clean!

Our waitress was friendly and nice. The food was excellent and service outstanding.

Excellent take on an omelette as these are served open-faced. Food was delicious and the homemade salsa complimented it nicely. Staff was super friendly. Will definitely return.
