Y’all need to make the trip to one of the cutest towns in NC and have some of the best beers around while you’re there! Super-friendly and knowledgable staff - don’t be surprised if the owner stops by your table for a chat. The ambiance is relaxed and airy with a huge glass overhead door facing Main St.. Out back there’s a patio and EV charging in the parking lot. Darts and lots of board games to keep you occupied if that’s what you’re into 😎

Fantastic local brewery! Their beers are all amazing and you can’t go wrong picking anything off of the menu. Excellent location and the most friendly staff you will ever find! If you’re in Louisburg, I would make sure this is a place you check out.

First time visitor tonight. Great atmosphere and beers. Ron and Rita were very nice. As a new resident of Louisburg this will be my go to brewery.

Stopped here in the middle of March. Greatest people work there. Had a peach 🍑 drink that was great. The owners helped us get the best chicken wings ever. Can’t remember name of food place that had wings but the owners know. Definitely will go back. The beer was great and the warm hospitality was what made me and my friend like it the most!!!! We stopped by while in town visiting family and will now stop by every time we come. Beer was delicious but Jared, Ron, Rita and new friends we met were great! It was like stopping by a friends house! Great atmosphere.

Best brewery in the entire RDU area. My wife and family come here all the time and are treated like family. To make it even better, they have a new food truck parked out back every day they are open. If you’re lucky, they will have their legendary jalapeño beer

The wife and I stop in at least once a week, often twice. Great family friendly home town establishment. Always something different and good to eat with the rotating food trucks.

Chance brought me to the Tar Banks Brewing company. I must have great karma. I was warmly greeted by Ron and Rita, the proprietors, as well as all the regulars that I bumped. The beer is excellent. Ron brews about 20 different varieties, putting about 6 on tap at given time along with some other local brews and ciders, as well as some wine based slushies (yum). Food trucks are regularly found out back, and on Friday nights there is very likely to be some live music. If you're not from around stop in and say hello, you won't be disappointed, and if you do live around here and haven't been, shame on you.

This is my 2nd time coming here and I’ve always felt so at home! These people are great, the beer is great, and the atmosphere is most importantly great. I definitely recommend to anyone and everyone!

Nice rotation of craft beers. A community gathering spot for live music, food trucks, and socializing. It has a family, community feel. All are welcome, and everyone is friendly. Tar Banks sponsors many local events and is an influencer for the growth and development of downtown Louisburg, NC.

Amazing staff and unique brews on tap. This place is a hidden gem in Louisburg! The building restoration is also beautiful. I also love all the food trucks that come in.

Great place. Good community place for friends to meet. Darts, Dingo night, food trucks on the weekend. I always feel comfortable going for a specialty beer.
