First of all, most of the negative reviews seem to come from people who either don't understand or are frustrated with the gun laws in California. These are not the fault of the business. But they are a great shop. They can order a lot of stuff if they don't have it (at competitive prices), and they are super knowledgeable and helpful with the complicated rules in CA. Love this shop and will use them for all my purchases whenever possible.

Incredibly professional, straight forward, and friendly experience. I sold some silver coins here the other day and the owner was very transparent about the entire process and answered any questions I had. It wasn't the best day to sell silver, but I had already checked the rate before arriving, so I was aware. The gentleman who helped me informed me of this and explained, which is always helpful—and especially so for someone who may not be familiar with the process of selling coins.

Highly recommend the shop based on this experience. Pretty impressive collection of guns ans ammo too, but this wasn’t my purpose for coming in the shop.

Absolutely amazing store with knowledgeable people inside, I’ve bought every one of my guns here, they’ve helped with everything from fixing my guns to helping me figure out transfers, I could not ask for a better place to buy from. Astounding. Bill is a wonderful guy who was extremely knowledgeable about the firearms in his inventory and California and DOJ processes, his employee is also quite well versed and qualified to help you with any of your needs.

Busy place to visit. Crew is very courteous and knowledgeable. Made a purchase and will return. Professional gun shop.

Bill spent time with me to choose the right item for my needs. Had to go through a lot of paperwork, but that's for the State and Feds, Foothill Firearm just does what they required for a purchase. After the 10 day period, item was ready to go and Bill made sure that I had everything I needed to make my purchase work for me, targets and ammo, etc. Will definitely do business again. Thanks!!!!

I have no idea what the other bad reviews are talking about, most of them just seem like uneducated people (putting it politely) that don't seem to understand simple legalities of purchasing firearms. MY experience with this store, as limited as it has been, has been nothing but smooth, informative, and very good. The employees there I spoke to were nothing short of friendly, helpful, and insightful. I purchased a pistol there not so long ago and the guy I spoke to helped me through all the parts I didn't know, reinforced what I already did, and purchasing the firearm went as smooth as butter. The only limitations I experienced were the strict legalities California enforces, nothing to do with the store or staff. I will certainly be a returning customer, nothing but happy with my time here.

Giving them 5 stars because they are a good gun store with a lot in stock. However I'm kind of bummed out because I came by to pick up my new shotgun today to find that they were closed during normal business hours. I carved out a good chunk of my day to be here and never received a call telling me I couldn't pick up the gun. Oh well things happen I suppose just wish I hadn't taken the time off work to be here. That being said they are still a great store with a highly knowledgeable staff and a lot of stuff in stock. I would highly recommend them!

This store is great, the staff are knowledgeable and intelligent. Excellent customer service, and a wide selection of gear, ammunition, firearms and supplies. They worked with me on a rifle purchase (and I might add), at a significantly lower cost than I had been quoted from other gun shops around. Without a doubt, I'll be shopping for my next purchase at this store. I drive an hour to shop at this store and it's worth the drive every time. Big thanks to the guys at Foothill Firearm Supply.

Went to purchase a firearm and was very pleased with my experience. The staff were knowledgeable and informative. As a woman, I’ve had experiences when making firearm/accessory purchases that haven’t been too great. That wasn’t the case at Foothill. They we’re extremely helpful, made me feel comfortable, answered all my questions and I walked out very satisfied with my purchase. They will definitely get my return business.

Our experiences with Foothill Firearm has been exceptional!! Our family has decided that this is our forever firearm supplier, the service we receive has been so refreshing, in this day and age there are so businesses that seem to take their customers for granted and don’t seem to want to build that long term customer relationship, not so at Foothill Firearm Supply. The value of customer service and customer satisfaction is very evident in the experience we’ve had each time we’ve visited. We are new firearm purchasers and had/have lots of questions and both Willie and Bill were very helpful and not once were we made to feel dumb for asking questions or that they were annoyed by us, and there was never a time that we felt rushed. We spent about 4-4 1/2 hours in the store Saturday 6/6/2020 with 3 of us making a 1st time purchase, yeah that’s a lot of paperwork, patience and questions!! My daughter and I went back today for her to make her 1st time purchase and the experience was awesome!! We were probably there another 2 hours. We had more questions of course and was given advice, instruction and
guidance. We have two more family members that will be purchasing in the near future and we will most definitely be going back up the hill. We live in Manteca which is 55 miles away, we will gladly make the drive to do business with our firearm store, Foothill Firearm Supply!! Thank you for such a great experience!!

Foothill Firearms in Jackson, CA are a great gun store. The staff there were very friendly and knowledgeable. They also have great prices on all their inventory and firearms. This is my Go-To gun store. They are knowledgeable and friendly. Not pushy and salesman-like, just come in and take a look they have a huge selection and lots of cool stuff. If they don't happen to have exactly what you're looking for, they can order it for you. I always give these guys first pass on any new weapons that I am looking to acquire and they have done me right every time.

Overall, I'm happy to support my local businesses that give good products, service and prices, like Foothill Firearm Supply does. Give them a shot (pun intended), I think you'll be happy you did.

Great local family own gun store! Bill was very helpful and knowledgeable in helping with my recent purchase. Customer service was amazing especially after going to the big box stores (i.e. sportsman warehouse, ect.) and was treated like i was a burden and they didn't want my business. Bill treated me like a human and i could see his son has the same compassion and customer service skills. I will most definitely be doing more business here in the future!

I purchased a shotgun from him and it failed. I was given the opportunity for a refund or exchange. I upgraded to a better rifle and am very pleased; no bad experiences with this shop. He also helps out the community with sponsors and donations that help out all of us. I am sure he has a lot more than 13 sales in his shop but most only wright bad reviews when they a mad but nothing good when they are happy. I also have a background done before I pay so I don't loose out on my money.

This is an excellent shop. They have an abundance of high quality firearms. I have never had any problems at all. The only negative reviews are from people that don’t understand California law. If you don’t like following the State laws than take an active approach and vote lawmakers in office to protect your 2nd amendment. I’m very thankful to have a shop that does Cerakote and gunsmithing as well!!! You absolutely will not be disappointed.!

I live 16 miles from the gun store, I’ve been in there many times and no one hassled me. I’ve bought 1 rifle, had another worked on and bought ammo there. No problems, I’m glad they opened up in Jackson, it’s close enough for me. I plan on buying something else there very soon.

Best gun store in California! Guys there are very professional and helpful. They helped me get and set up new rifle for Idaho elk hunt. If I’m successful I’ll definitely will be sharing elk stakes with them. Thank guys! You rock.

We ordered from Ohio and got the rifle within a week and picked up from our local gun dealer. Wide range of selection and had no problem ordering what we wanted and shipped immediately. Thanks again!
