Withers Wool

Withers Wool is more than a yarn shop. It's a whole experience! The shop is located on a beautiful farm where the animals the fiber comes from live. You are able to purchase fiber in any form from off the animal, to batting to finished yarns. Withers wool is such a fun destination. The fiber art is exquisite. The property is gorgeous and very inviting. The peacocks, goats, sheep and chickens are so much fun and the pond, water feature and pollinator garden is magnificent. Marc Withers is a very gracious host and his enthusiasm for the fiber and the farm are contagious. Definitely worth the trip!

Expect to be overwhelmed in THE BEST OF WAYS! If you are a fiber enthusiast, spinner, knitter, crocheter, weaver, or just plain animal lover, you will not be disappointed in this local gem of a business. The farm is pastoral, the animals, entertaining and the fiber…holy, moly…the FIBER…is soft, scrumptious, luxurious! An endless array of yarns, roving, locks, and batts can be found at Withers Wools. And, if you are someone interested in fiber arts, this is the place to ignite inspiration!

It’s like walking into a living postcard of rolling hills and acres of pastureland. A unique part of the experience is getting a complimentary tour from Marc, the owner, to see the merino sheep, angora goats, peacocks, and other animals that form the source material for the museum-caliber fiber art and yarns.

Unbelievable!!!! If you are a spinner, you will definitely want to come here! There are more well prepared rovings (mostly merino) of the most wonderful colors and softness than you can imagine. If you don't spin, there are also many handspun yarns, with a myriad of art yarn choices.

If you need some of the best wool ever with the most knowledgeable people this is where to go and get it. Plus they've fun animals.
