Avocados Mexican Grill Rome

This is my second time reviewing Avocados in Rome! It’s a Sunday afternoon and I’m at the lake solo. I brought my book with hopes to sit on the patio and enjoy this beautiful weather since it hasn’t been so nice the past couple of days. I ordered a large margarita, Enchiladas Mexicans, and extra salsa (it’s so good). I brought my book along so my nose wasn’t down at my phone, and this has been yet another enjoyable experience. The patio makes for a great place to relax with great food and excellent service. To say I love this place is an understatement. Do yourself a favor and dine here!!

I love their carnitas special. They are the best place in Rome for taco Tuesday. They have a fun selection of margaritas.

We love this place. It was much needed. The food is great and the staff is friendly and nice and the service is very quick. Went back on 3/30/24. Still the same awesome.

One of the best Mexican stops in Central Wisconsin. We had the Monster Chimichanga and Fajitas Jaliscos, and I'll tell you what.. We will definitely be coming back more and more in the future.
The staff was super friendly and our waitress checked in on us many times with nothing but a bright smile.
Great place to bring your kids, or friends for a drink and tacos at the bar (something we will be doing much more often).

This place is great . The food was Muy Rico!! Which means excellent. My husband has some kind of soup which we have never seen on any menu of any Mexican restaurant. He said it was very good.

The staff was very pleasant. I only spoke in Spanish while there to practice.

The food took a while though. But we weren't in any hurry.

It's nice to have a Mexican restaurant close to us.

We will go again

First time visiting and we were very happy We stopped. Food was excellent, service was quick and the prices were reasonable. We will definitely visit again. Thanks for a great experience!

We so love our new favorite restaurant here in Rome!!! Its unassuming from the outside, but inside they’ve really made it into a lovely little joint. They quickly gave the inside an update with booths etc, so if you haven’t gone since it opened you have to check it out!

The food has been phenomenal both times we’ve gone. The molcajete and tamales were delicious. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. We’re used to living in busier areas with great food options, but this place rivals any Mexican restaurant we love going to! So happy Avocados came to Rome!

We have dined at Avocados numerous times since they opened on Highway 13. Our meals have always been fantastic and the staff is as friendly as can be. I want to give them a shout out for the service and quality of food they deliver. I have had Micheladas in Mexico that were great, but Avocados serves the best I have ever tasted. Come to Avocados and get the best Mexican food around, you won’t go away hungry!

Had to try the new restaurant by our camper. Avocados did not disappoint! Anyone can make a burrito but I judge by how good the shrimp cocktail is, and it was delicious!! Friendly staff and great atmosphere in this little building. They did a great job!

Love this place! The food is always delicious and they take real good care of us. Back again today. Thanks for taking care of us for dinner. It was delicious.

Perfect! They recently acquired a liquor license. This pleases me as I just enjoyed some reasonably priced and very delicious margaritas! Keep up the great work! Oh and the food and service is awesome too!

We have dined here several times. The food is amazing and plentiful. The staff is kind and attentive. The owners have made a delicious and creative version of margarita that you should definitely try.

We have been to the Rapids location, but Rome is closer so we tried it !! Was super happy with everything. I asked about a drink that I had in Cabo Mexico called Miami Vice. The gal said they didn't. Then we heard her ask one of the other people there..lol.. she came back and said we can make that for you. Lol.. they made it from scratch.. it was great 👍.. above and beyond Avacado staff !!! Thanks for the great dining experience !!!

I'm in town for a couple weeks on business. I come from the Southwest where we have a lot of options for Mexican food.

I was so excited to find how authentic the food and great the food is here. I've been back 5 times in a week!

Heard good things about this place and it didn’t disappoint. Big portions for a fair price and the service was top notch!
