Tom was absolutely terrific. Today was my first time & not my last. He was extremely knowledgeable & asked all the right questions that could inform his approach with me. He is also caring and empathic which is vital in massage therapy. I will definitely be going back! It was a great experience and I feel significantly better than when I walked in.

I have only seen Tom twice but have been extremely impressed with his ability to detect and address specific issues I’m experiencing, even when I haven’t verbalized them to him. I am a personal trainer who specializes in heavy lifting , and I have seen roughly 20 different massage therapists throughout the years. After losing one of the best massage therapists I ever had, I was doubtful I'd ever fine someone as educated and talented. Low and behold, I found TOM!

He really pays attention to the issues you have and somehow finds the issues you didn't even know you had! I've had torn ligaments in my ankle and severely herniated discs in the past year, and he has helped me recover faster and get me out of pain.
He has the right amount of pressure for each individual client and knows when to push and pull back according to your tolerance.

Tom is very educated and dedicated to his craft which I can't say about all massage therapists.

I'm grateful I have found Tom- and have sent him many of my own clients who have also had success seeing him.

I have the highest praise for Tom’s professionalism and talent as a massage therapist. I had been having severe pain in my shoulder that chiropractic treatment wasn’t helping. I saw Tom 3 times for a neuromuscular/trigger point massage while we were housesitting in Ann Arbor, and the pain is gone. I wish he’d come to Florida!

Tom is fantastic. Really takes the time to understand what ails you and brings a range of techniques to bear (massage, active release, graston) to address your needs. Whether I’m going with a specific strain or injury or just for general sports therapy I always leave feeling great. Highly recommend for runners or any athletes who want to stay tuned up!

Tom is the best massage therapist I have ever worked with. I saw him regularly while I lived in Ann Arbor and now I book an appointment every time I come back. He really takes his time to get to know you as a person, any illnesses and injuries he should be aware of, and then tailors the massage to exactly what you need that day. I’m always a little hesitant to book with men but he made me feel comfortable immediately. If you’re thinking about booking with Tom, definitely do it!

Excellent at listening and communicating. Tom tailors every massage to the problem areas I bring in. The progress that I’ve had in recovering from some very long-standing injuries is nothing short of amazing. Highly recommend!

Tom is a very talented and thoughtful therapist. He brings a variety of techniques to each session depending on what you’re hoping to achieve and what issues you’re working through. I’ve used him for more general massage work as well as specific, injury based therapy and always walk out feeling much better than when I walk in. I have been getting massages due to chronic pain for over a decade. Because of the nature of my work, I’ve moved several times and estimate that I’ve had a total of 25 different therapists. Apex/Tom is MY FAVORITE for two reason:

PRECISE RELIEF: Three 90 min massages and I see/feel drastically noticeable results in my TMJ pain and only one session to fix a pinched nerve in my thigh. Tom is knowledgeable.

EXPERIENCE: I want relief but also want to feel pampered. The music is relaxing. There’s always a bottle of sparkling or still water waiting for me. The conversation (or quietness) is great and not awkward because Toms a great person. There’s a bed warmer.

I’m in my early 30s. Pretty active. Am a little demanding when it comes to a luxury experience (I work in sales/marketing so the details matter to me). And like deep tissue.

I have been suffering with plantar fasciitis and calf pain for 7 years and in the last year the pain has gotten unbearable. I tried insoles, physical therapy, strength training. After one session at Apex Therapeutic massage I felt like a new person. I haven’t had pain since. If it returns I am definitely going back.

Thomas is very talented! He takes his time speaking to you and explaining everything. He gave me a great deep tissue massage without me having pain the next day and I still felt that all my problem areas were addressed. I would highly recommend.

He also gave me stretches and things to do on my own and followed up to see how they were working for me.
