I was in Huntsville for a work conference and needed a place to train. All I can say is, I have been training for 3 years and this is the first time I have ever come close to puking. This team is the best conditioned group I have ever had to pleasure to roll with. Super friendly and will definitely come back next time I am in town. Highly recommend!!!!!!

We tried out 3 other gyms locally before finding Arsenal Combat Sports Club. A couple of the big differences that we've noticed compared to other gyms is their cleanliness, kid ratio & actual technique being taught.Both of my kids go here & absolutely love it. The parents are motivated to see their kids growing & learning but also being challenged in good ways! Coaches are all amazing & attentive but i want to give a special shout out to Coach PJ & Coach Hannah.. their time & patience with these kids is amazing & doesn’t go unnoticed. Special shout out to Aeden who is a yellow belt for always being a leader & continuing to be motivational & someone my daughter looks up to & another special shout out to Ezekial who is a gray belt but in my youngest daughters class- he is always willing to teach & help any chance he gets! We are so glad we found our Jiu-Jitsu gym 👏🏼

I dropped in here while visiting the area and I was pleasantly surprised! The facility is immaculate, spacious, and is well equipped. The jiu jitsu instruction was very good and the black belt made corrections and offered advice to me even though I was just a drop in! I was excited to train with another competitive woman who was very tough and technical which is RARE!!! Thank you so much Arsenal! I will definitely return when I am back in the area and hope to see them at comps. 🥇

Very impressed with everything about Arsenal: staff, culture, facility, everything. Their kids programs are great and it's the favorite sport my son has tried yet. In the short time we have been there I can see they have a culture of accountability and growth. Kids are taught how to lead their peers in exercises. Older kids are expected to help square away the younger kids. Everyone is expected to listen to their coaches and respect each other. Coaches are the perfect balance of demanding and compassionate. Great place and we're proud to be a part of it.

I completed an 8 week women’s defense class with Arsenal. The coaches were amazing! They took time with us individually to go through the movements. They were all complimentary and made us feel welcomed. Highly recommend Arsenal for defense and combat sports, for all ages and genders!

Thankful coach Brian allowed me an opportunity to train at Arsenal during my stay in Huntsville. His team understands there’s a spirit of jiu jitsu and it’s evident. Hopefully you at least visit, if you don’t join.

They have a ton of scheduling options and the coaches are amazing. They really take the time to make sure that you understand the fundamentals of the positions before moving forward. They also have a great atmosphere where I feel really comfortable.

I was in town for work and the Arsenal family is a pleasure to train with. They have that balance of welcoming strangers and warrior mode during training. I hope to visit them again. Definitely one of the cleanest martial arts schools I have visited. Sensei Bryan was a friendly and professional when I schedule my first class. I could see Sensei Bryan loves what he does.

Awesome place to train Jiu Jitsu and make new friends! When I first started out, I was really looking for a structured fundamental curriculum to break down Jiu Jitsu into bite size pieces and not feel so overwhelmed and that’s what I got from Arsenal. Professor Brian is extremely knowledgeable and is able to effectively communicate and teach these principles to new practitioners. He, Professor Kenny, Coach Chris, and the entire Arsenal family also made me feel very welcome and that they were invested in my development. I’ve been training here now for a little over a year and a half and seem to be having more fun with BJJ as time goes on. Would highly recommend Arsenal to anyone looking for a welcoming place to train with top notch instructors!

Currently I am a blue belt in BJJ visiting from out of town for work. I dropped in for a week and everyone at Arsenal was welcoming. I was integrated into the class and was able to keep up with training while in Huntsville. I feel I got value out of my time here as the coach Brian Moore was a well versed and knowledgeable.The class was structured well and we even talked nuances during the fundamentals session. I wouldn't hesitate to come back any time in in the area.

Great place to train, especially if you're a beginner. Doesn't matter if you train casually, train for competition, or just want to work on your overall fitness. Brian has created an environment and atmosphere where it doesn't matter your skill level or goals, you can train here and genuinely gain something from the experience. I've trained at a few other gyms and this is by far the best.

I was introduced to Arsenal from a friend preparing for deployment. While my daughter has done tkd before, I haven’t been involved in any martial arts since a child. With no contact and the first day free, it was hard not to try it out. Jujitsu at Arsenal is something we both instantly have fell in love with. Especially with my daughter getting older and wanting to be confident in defending herself. I highly recommend Arsenal to anyone, whether adults or children. Great community of people, respectful at all times, no knucklehead attitudes, and an awesome workout. All this in a gym that is serious about the craft of jujitsu. I couldn’t imagine a better place.

Absolutely great BJJ school to train at. Brian is top notch and has fixed so many bad habits and misunderstandings I have carried with me over the years. The entire vibe and everyone who regularly trains here is great and welcoming. At 45 years old and coming off 10 years of not training or working out at all, I was welcomed in and feel a kinship with them all. Definitely check Arsenal out if you are visiting the area and looking for a place to drop in and train. If you’re from the area, give Arsenal a shot and I think you’ll definitely see how great it is.

I've been taking self defense classes here and I'm very impressed with the knowledge and teaching skills of the staff here. I've had fun learning how to protect myself and I recommend and women looking for defense classes to train here.
