Handel's Homemade Ice Cream Niles

We went specifically for a banana split, and got a shake as well. It was $7.50 for the Split, which while high wasn’t overpriced based on the product. Three full scoops, generous toppings and the banana was cut up but was absolutely 2 full ones. For the shake we got salted Carmel turtle and it too was worth the price. It was a great treat on a humid, hot evening. No criticisms at all, they had plenty of workers, they were friendly and prompt. The table had an umbrella and was clean.

You must try a couple different flavors before you make your final decision! They have tiny little spoons and you can try every single flavor if you really want to first. But don't get too filled up on samples because they portions are pretty heavy and the staff is super friendly! Different flavors all the time and more combinations than mathematicians can count!

I don't eat ice cream that often, but when I do, I go to Handel's. I have never had an ice cream or milkshake I didn't enjoy. This particular time I wanted a carmel Sundae with chocolate/ peanut butter ice cream. This sundae was HUGE! I have never had a better ice cream dish. I will definitely be having this again!

The lines are usually long depending on the time of day, but the wait is worth it! I love their ice cream and how smooth the texture is. I definitely will be coming again when I have time!

Handel's is like that small town ice cream place you remember from 30 + years ago, but can enjoy today! I loved it. The Oree-dough milkshake is what I got, and it didn't disappoint 😋

I hadn't had any ice cream for a while... It was just as good as I remembered... Blueberry cheesecake and blueberry cobbler... So tasty... Yummy yummy in my tummy. 😋

I took my grandson and his friend to get ice cream around 7pm this evening. A young girl with blonde hair helped us and she was amazing!! So helpful. Professional! I love Handel's and always go to the Hermitage one. When I found this one I was so excited. I got a hurricane I think you call it. It was an Oreo one. I loved it!!!!!

I had the four sampler dish. It was a great way to sample different flavors. The scoops were larger than I was expecting, so it made for a great way to share with others. Plus, best orange sherbet I've had in years!

I remember well going to the original store in Youngstown. I think there were at least 3 windows and always a long line at each one. Still the best ice cream around. We've never had a bad experience here. My favorite is Chocolate Chunk.

Can’t go wrong here with ice cream but there is always a line no matter what time of day you stop.
